I take all 3 of my dogs there for grooming. Thomas is there groomer. I have a 10 year old he takes care of with kid gloves, and the new one is getting broke in with him to groom. Great place. They also have a program that saves money when they get groomed.

Before Christmas, I sent my 12-year-old Bichon to petco (Norman) groomers. Unfortunately, they cut his ear quite deep. I only found out today, but thankfully, it's almost healed now. I have three dogs, and after this incident, I won't trust them again. I also regret leaving big tips, especially considering they didn't inform me about the injury when I picked up my dog. It feels frustrating and dishonest.

The first time I came here for my dog's nail trim, it was a bit traumatic for him but they got the job done. But today I went in again for just a nail trim and had Stephanie do it (Saturday 10/22 in the morning) and she was amazing, it was a MUCH better experience and my dog did great for the whole time. I really, really appreciate this with all the troubles we've had over the years. So, shout out to Stephanie and also the girl she had helping her. A+

UPDATE:Avery left Petco a while ago and we have been seeing Deja and she is awesome! My girls love her, she totally gets that my dogs are my kids, and she does an amazing job! We've had great cuts (even dealing with some minimal matting)and no issues after with ear hematomas! Deja also is really gentle with my girls, which I really appreciate as one of them gets a little nervous at the groomers! 100/10 would recommend Deja!Old Review:So I've had terrible experiences and wonderful experiences with groomers. The last groomer I had was great, but not currently grooming dogs. So we saw Avery A this week and did an amazing job. For reference I have 2 doodles that were well overdue for a groom with some matting and she was able to get rid of the matting without shaving them completely down and she even put the cutest bows in their hair! I highly recommend Avery and we will definitely be going back to her!

Iris was very patience with my dog. The past experiences I felt the groomers were annoyed and not as caring. I believe my dog can sense this and has had not great experiences. Iris shows she is genuinely invested in helping my dog feel at ease and he looks lovely when done.

First visit and everything was so easy. Groomer went over my requests, offered services I wasn't aware of and inquired about tendencies of my dogs. Dogs were ready in time frame given and they gave no indication that they were uncomfortable. My babies seemed happy.

I really like Petco grooming because we drop our dog off with Stephanie right before his appointment and it doesn’t take all day. The last groomer we went to had a required drop off time and I wouldn’t see my dog sometimes for 10-12 hours. This haircut only took 3-4 hours. Our dog is always coming back happy.

This is the only place I will take my dogs and my granddogs too. Crystal and the Petco and University Town center is the place to go. They take care of my dogs like they were "THEIR OWN"..

My schnauzer came home with a razor burnt, Shaved face, and a tail not cut at all. Groomers should listen better to make sure they are understanding what is needed. Also why do you have customers Pay Before you see your dog ?

The groomer was very respectful and sweet to my babies. She explained everything and allowed my babies to get comfortable with her with me there before taking them back which reduced my anxiety and the dogs'. Will be back.

I came in to the grooming area because my dog had opened up a split nail and she was bleeding in the car. I asked if they could make sure the bleeding had stopped and cut her nails back so it didn't happen anymore. They took her back and got her fixed up in no time.

Easy to set appointment and pretty quick. The dogs facial hair could have been trimmed alittle shorter...made it look like he had a big head.

Many good groomers have moved on from here due to not being heard by management about a grooming manager that choked customers dogs and verbally abused them. This is horrific that it was left to continue.
