Stephanie at the Norman Petco did a fantastic job on my girl Mesa! Her hair grows fast and thick and she's always hot, so I like to have her shaved as closely as possible. Stephanie did just as I wanted, with no nicks, and Mesa smells beautiful. I have three dogs and can't afford to bring them all in every time they need a bath, but I'll probably be bringing Mesa in pretty regularly now for a good shaving and bath. Thanks, Stephanie!

I always enjoy coming here! The Staff is so friendly and helpful. Prices are a little high but if you shop their deals it's not too bad. The grooming services did a great job on my pup. It was her first grooming experience and she did really well!

Thomas is the best groomer for my dogs. He took my very anxious 2 year old Aussie and got him able to get a clip job. Best clip my boy has ever had. He also does my other two dogs. I recommend him.

On Friday 3/29/24 I brought my rescue girl Mazy for a Mini Make Rover Plus as a walk in. Katy was awesome getting us newbies checked in and all our records in the system. I explained that Mazy is 2 months new to me so I wasn't 100% sure how she would behave. Katy took her in and finished her up without any issues at all. Place seems to be hit or miss, I was able to find items that I needed that couldn’t be found at Petsmart. The only downfall are the high prices. Some of these items are ridiculously high. Oh and the customer service is so-so. The ladies up front had to request assistance over the intercom 2x to get another cashier to help.

The people are always helpful and friendly. My information accidentally got left up on the screen when I asked about what type of free animal food I was eligible for. I got this information when I first walked in so I knew what to shop for. My screen I guess remained up, and so the next person in line got my $30 that I had on my account. Upon going to the register it was soon discovered what had happened and they took care of it right away and gave me credit for my vital rewards as well as my free bag of dog food . I hope somebody doesn’t get in trouble for leaving the register open as such but things happen and they took care of it immediately.

This place if wasn't for the check out always taking so long would be 5 stars. They have all you need and so much more. This store is like an online wonderland! Plants, feeds, different types of animals and more!!

I went in to the store Saturday to purchase a bag of dog food. I purchase the same bag usually online for either delivery or pickup. I paid $20 more for an in store purchase. That is insane!! I could have stood there and purchased it online for pickup. If I had thought about it at the time I probably would have canceled my transaction. $20 more to purchase online??? That is a terrible customer experience!!!

Jasmine was helpful and friendly. And she loved my sweet shy poodle and he even did some tricks for her. That was so nice of her to help me socialize my pupper! Wonderful pleasant experience.

Although the store's appearance is not the best, I give them 5-stars because of its grooming department's manager, Katie Ritz. She is outstanding. The most professional appealing Petco is on NW Expressway. You will enjoy visiting there. Need your pet groomed? There's no one better than Katie. Guaranteed.

Took my cat to the vet here yesterday and received great service. I came in as a walk-in, wait time wasn’t too bad. They did a wellness call on my cat too making sure he was doing alright from his shots. Would recommend if need a quick service for your pets :)

An associate named Brandon happily answered my questions,, he was very knowledgeable, then went to other side of store, helping me decide on a Pet Food..He also took my purchases out to the car. I liked the items I bought and came back next day for more. Brandon remembered me and was very kind and assisted me again. I’m 66y, It’s awesome being greeted by such an energetic, knowledgeable, sales associate, who took his time with me. He’s definitely an asset to Petco! I’ll be looking for his smile each time I visit! Thanks!

I used to be a fan of this Petco for grooming when Tina was a groomer... but the past two times have not been good experiences and she is no longer there. In December we received a sloppy cut for our cocker spaniel. I filled out the internal review because I'm not a huge fan of publicly criticizing without giving them a chance to fix it. Yesterday, the manager called asking if we could bring our cocker in so their new groomer could get her Petco certification. I wasn't planning on getting him groomed anytime soon and told the manager I was hesitant to bring him back in because of our last experience. He assured me the cut would be by the book and we would receive a discount. So I rearranged my schedule to bring our dog in (25 minute drive) today. We get there and the groomer was awkward, fumbled around with their leash and got it over his head. I was expecting her to then use the leash to bring him back but instead she tried picking him up.. awkwardly. He was happy go lucky until she lifted a little, then set him back down. He paused when she lifted, but returned to happy go lucky when she set him down. Then she lifted some more, hesitated, then eventually tried to pick him up... after she already had the leash around his neck? He bit her. She was fine, there was no blood or visible scratch that I could see. She went to the manager (a different one than I spoke with the day before) and they said we had to go home. If my dog was mad and grouchy and bit her, I would probably be more sympathetic to the situation but it was the most awkward interaction. Why did she try to pick him up? Not to mention, the groomer needed to do a cocker cut, we were there so she could get her grooming certificate, it was a complete inconvenience for me and wasted nearly an hour's drive (gas) plus the time we were in the store. It really came across to me like the groomer didn't want to do it and tried to get out of it. So... I won't be going back.

The wait time was still an hour even tho I had an appointment. Other than that it was great! The nurse and doctor were so nice and they knew exactly what my kitty needed! He’s feeling much better now!

Took Camo to Petco for a 1:30 groom appointment . After they told Jerry that Saturday was not really a good day to bring senior dogs. Jerry said we work all week so good day for us. She says it could be 4 hrs and we have appointment . Went to pick him up because we had not heard from them and he was not done yet. I told them just bring me my dog. They had not even touched him yet. So my senior dog has been sitting a cage for 3 + hours . He weighs less then 10 pounds could have done him in 30 minutes. Please do not take you fur babies to Petco in Norman .😡😡

Went to get some fish, after our fish tank was good to go. Was a little nervous at first being fish but the experience was amazing and the fish are doing amazing and the lady working the fish was very knowledgeable. A very comfortable buy and she also made sure we knew we had 30 days with the fish, I could return without any issue.

Cramped and EXPENSIVE. Many Animals have been available for more than 90 days in their tanks and cages. All employees tried to up-sale in a big way but when you have questions, no one to be found.

We were just in yesterday and loved the wonderful help we received ❤ Layne was so informative, we can't wait to see her again. She had so many wonderful answers seeings how I had less than a clue of what we needed than my youngest child did about what we wanted and needed for our possible new pet. Placed an online order with a 25% discount. One of my items was cancelled and refunded due to being out of stock. I spoke with the manager who told me when I could expect my item to be available in store, and when I came back to purchase, they honored the discounted price from my online order. Always experience great service at this Petco!
