I had a horse emergency and the tech called me back within minutes. Dr. Ross and her tech were here in about 45 minutes. They were very empathetic for the situation and Dr. Ross went to work immediately sedating my horse to examine him. The outcome wasn't good but they were both wonderful with my boy. I will definitely use them in the future.

I took my dog Lily in for TPLO today. Dr. Brown explained everything that what is being done and how it works. I wish I got the nurses name, she was hilarious, she made the time there enjoyable taking Lily there. I can't forget the receptionist, she was very nice and friendly.

Took my Nyssa here for a simple spay. I dropped her off at 8am and picked her up about 4. I have called them quite a few times with (probably stupid) questions and everybody there has treated me and my Nyssa with complete respect and care. Very professional. Ended up leaving my hat at the front desk and they called the next day letting me know. 10/10 would highly recommend

Best Vet we have found. Even after moving 45 minutes away we still travel to Meeker to let Dr. Brown help our babies. She has figured out every oddball situation (like oozing toenails that other vets couldn't figure out) and I trust them whole heartedly with dentals on our senior dogs. Our tripod pug just needed knee surgery and they did so great. Tons of instructions and their care and relaying information to us is always above and beyond. If you have any special circumstance or need specialized care I HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you guys so much for the years of help!

Brought my senior dog here for a second opinion and was treated with respect and kindness all the way through her passing. They have done all of the care for my new pup and I have been so pleased with the service. My puppy loves to interact with the staff and I always leave pleased with the service.

After a horrific experience with a 24-hour vet in Norman (AEC), and my dogs issues still unresolved, I was scrambling and calling all local vets in Shawnee (as ours would not have a Doc in clinic until Thursday). Meeker Animal Hospital was the 5th vet clinic I called and I was desperate for someone to be able to see my dog. They got me in really quick and were not far from my house, which was an added bonus. From the moment we arrived to leaving everyone was so kind. We saw Dr. Deseree Brown and she was just exceptional, on all fronts! They were short staffed and still managed to work us in and tend to our sick dog all the while maintaining efficiency and professionalism. The Dr. was kind and explained everything so calmly to my husband and I which was a huge bonus as well because we were scared for our pup. They set us up with a great plan, it was affordable, and we left with a sense of peace that our dog was on the mend. I cannot say thank you enough and I do plan to return and will likely make the switch permanent.

I am a volunteer working to help Ukrainian refugees. I was helping a family who fled the war with their cat. When they arrived in the United States, we realized that the cat had fractured its leg the day before they left Europe.The family was lost and had no money to pay for the required surgery. Meeker Animal Hospital donated their time and resources to help mend the cat.Thank you, Dr. Brown and the rest of the staff! The family is in awe of your support!

This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to write. I am writing this review for Dr. Dustin Brown, Dr. Deseree Brown, and Dr. Rostykus. My sweet Lexi started her life with Dr. Dustin Brown in Midwest City. She was a very young pup that lost her mom way to soon and I had to bottle feed her for the first several weeks/months of her life. Dr. Dustin Brown is a phenomenal vet who gave Lexi her puppy shots and was there for her when she tore her ACL several years ago. To say we were devastated when he sold his MWC practice was an understatement. They said Dr. Brown sold the practice to focus solely on surgeries. I can see why, he is kind, communicates well with his patient’s owners, and from the way my dog bounced back from her surgery he must be an excellent surgeon. I found him one day on facebook and requested to be his friend. He posted that he was helping his wife Dr. Deseree Brown in their Meeker office. I quickly booked my appointment on a day I knew he was assisting at the clinic! Keep in mind we lived in MWC so a drive to Meeker is about 40 minutes. After a few years I finally transitioned to Dr. Deseree Brown and Dr. Rostykus. It was this year in March when Dr. Deseree Brown had to give me the bad news that Lexi had a large mass growing in her abdomen and due to her age, they just didn’t see many options for her. I got that call around 4:30 in the afternoon, I listened but I didn’t really hear what she said. I called them back right at 5:00 and asked to speak to Dr. Brown again, she got on the phone and talked with me for what felt like forever, it was probably 15-20 minutes. She answered all my questions and went back over everything she had told me the first time. This was also at the start of COVID so I was not able to meet with any of the doctors face to face. We did some additional testing, sent bloodwork, and ultrasounds out to a Dr in California who between the doctor’s in Meeker and the doctor in California we came up with a treatment plan for her. They gave my sweet little Lexi 6 more months! Although at the time we were unsure how much time she would have. Dr. Brown went out on maternity leave and Dr. Rostykus stepped right in. I wanted Dr. Dustin Brown to come back and assist with Lexi, but I knew Dr. Rostykus had been brought up to speed on Lexi’s case. Dr. Rostykus didn’t skip a beat. She jumped right in and helped us with the continuing treatment for Lexi. They did Laser Therapy for her arthritis which I swear if she didn’t have that tumor would have given her another 5 years. That treatment is amazing for pups with arthritis! Dr. Rostykus was the one that had to be with us in our darkest time. Lexi started progressing and there was nothing left we could do to keep her with us. They graciously made time for us and even called as we were in route to make sure I was not going to have to wait when we arrived. I am thankful for everything the team at Meeker Animal Hospital has done for me and my sweet Lexi over the past 16 years. You had my baby all the way till we had to put her down. When the time came you went above and beyond for us, making sure we could just walk right into our room without even having to stop in the waiting area. I will never forget you guys and how wonderful you have been for us. I hadn’t opened my card you sent me for Lexi as the pain is still too much, but while writing this I did and saw the personal messages. Each of the staff and doctors wrote a special comment about Lexi and it let me know that she had a whole team caring for her and that you guys were also going to miss my fighter. I really do appreciate all you have done, and I hope you remain a successful veterinary hospital for many years to come. I know there is not a magic pill to make them live forever, but I can guarantee that with the team at Meeker Animal Hospital your fur babies will get the best life possible. I am sure my sweet girl outlived all her brothers and sisters and I owe a large part of that to all the Doctors and Staff at Meeker Animal Hospital!

Always thought this was a good and reasonable place to take my pets, but my visit today said completely otherwise. I had a new 13 week old puppy that was crying out in pain and lifeless. Last time I was there for vaccinatons, I was told that they had an emergency line and someone was always on call. So I immediately left and called on the way. I was told (on a Monday) that no one would be there until 8. I told them I was on my way and please to have someone come in 30 min early. Well 4 people showed up before 8am but still did not come out until 15 min after the hour. They did a parvo test which was negative. I told them that the dog had shots and had not been outside. They still said it was parvo and I needed to take him to the emergency center and spend 3500 on something he didn’t have. He also had a seizure because his sugar was nonexistent because I could not get him to eat and I had to wait to so long. I called the breeder who said it is not parvo. I took the stabilized dog to the breeder. He had Coccidia. Treated with medicine and he was eating and feeling better in 40 min. I let them know what it was for future patients and decided to switch vets. I had bought a puppy package for my other Yorkie and requested a refund. I was told”she received the services you paid for and agreed to.” She had 1 shot??? I am sure they are fine if they know specifics about your animal. They were blaming me for them not knowing what they should have known. I will never return. also instead of understanding the situation, they were hateful with ALL of their passive aggressive communication!.. so facts... let’s lay them out. I was told that there was 7 day a week emergency on call. If this wasn’t the case, I would not have expected a qualified person to come in 30 minutes early. My expectations are lowered for this clinic exponentially. So fact, Coccidia as not brought up as even a possibility. I was trying to help future patients and people from having to go through what I did. My puppy was still dying when I left with him. Yes the medicine for Coccidia was what helped him turn around so quickly and he was able to eat and yes treatment for this is ongoing. Dr Brown straight called me a liar over and over... his tone and attitude proves my post true as it was very unprofessional. Was I nice to him, absolutely not. I had to pay for an emergency visit anyway, during regular office hours. I don’t do reviews unless I feel very strongly about the issue. Dr Brown also used profanity F word. I could definitely tell that he was not used to speaking to a woman who stood her ground and didn’t back down. He was very rude and unprofessional whether I kissed his butt or not I was still the customer and what’s that saying??? Hmmm anyway, I did listen to everything I was told and I didn’t agree which is why I took my dog elsewhere so he wouldn’t die. He absolutely would have died there if he was going to stay, which he wasn’t. After speaking to Dr Brown and him saying, well you’re just a peach, he wanted to say B$;@;$. I really unrecommend them!!!!!!!

I absolutely love this place. Every time I bring my pups they remember them by name, their back stories and they provide so much love and care for them. I know my dogs are in the best hands anytime I bring them here. Brandy and Deseree always greet us when coming into the room and make us feel so welcomed. Very thankful for this clinic!❤️

Probably great for small pets. Not at all pleased with horse visit. Went in for simple coggins and health cert to this clinic specifically, at the request of the buyer. Waited for 50min. Staff was unfamiliar with horses. No knowledge of horse handling. Went back for copies of paperwork and took 20min to have it printed with wrong information on it. Not a good thing when this horse is supposed to cross state lines. Wont be going back.

I believe Drs Brown and Lear are fantastic vets and great people. Being a veterinarian myself I don't use Meeker Animal Hospital on a day to day basis but they are where I want my pets to go if my partner and I are both out of town! I highly recommend that you do not go here for your animal’s treatment. They are disorganized, liars and gouge you. It may be a little longer of a drive to Prague or Shawnee, but it will be worth it- trust me.I’m just going to breakdown my visits for you and you will see why this is a terrible clinic. I have too many characters, so please read attached photos.

First..I have never posted a bad review of any business ever in my life..But my only recourser now is to make others aware of what I call a clip-joint!..I had my doubts....after two visits last year with 2 different dogs....My first be visit there was with a visiting Veterternian..at this clinic...which did a absolutely a fantastic job on my old 15 yr old dog-Tina...which had a severe ear infection....which she treated and medicated....after a few days...she began feeling fanstactic..and miracousily...became playful ..and finally a dog relieved of pain and discomfort...thanks to this visiting Veterternian..who was only duty that day....I think the treatment cost was around $100...and was glad to pay..My second trip was with my other dog-King...who had a open foot infection..about 4inches in length...bloodied...red at time of visit...this time a different Vet...which presribed only a short supply of meds ..for a short period...end result...did nothing to help heal...and had to since take dog-King elsewhere....after spending $100 there...Now comes dog-Tina again with another be ear infection again...and took her back to this clinic...hoping that this Owner-Vet clinic could duplicate what method of treatment that the visiting Vet administered..? But no such luck..After relieving a estimate of what Tina's treatment would cost...I agreed to treatment...of $125....then as I was checking out...was informed...that Tina needed another med...I agreed...then was informed she again needed another too....suddenly my bill jumped another $50....of course agaited...I had no choice but to pay...as we all know...this dogs are our babies....and want them pain free...was asked to come back in 2 weeks...which I did...was I thought for follow-up on Tina's ears only...but the VetTech...said it was for treatment for tapeworms....now another $25..and then put 1cc of ointment in ear...and all this in lobby of Clinic...the Vet/owner didn't even take the time to re-examine..Tina...and what's even more amazing...I have been to office three times...and haven't met..or spoke to Vet ever!..though they have taken my money gladly...And today..Feb1-Thursday..2019...I called...tring to get Tina in today..to help ease her discomfort and pain..and her constant day-night 24 -hr crying...they said they were too busy...and to try another Clinic...!!And this is the reason I decided to post this review...I never thought I would ever do a business...but this Clinic..Meeker Clinic...needs to be called out...and I will make a extra-effort to let all the people I know about the shoddy service...and the type of clip-joint..this place is...as scheduling so many appointments back to back..to back.. using all her rooms to pack in unsuspecting dog lovers...to provide meanial service...and money-grubbing techniques to get to our wallets...Shame on you..Meeker Animal Clinic!....ps..hope enough people read this...and when they get bad service and a inflated bills at checkout ..that they too will go elsewhere!!!!!!
