This is a very cute locally owned grocery store in Meeker. The staff are friendly and they have everything you could need including a deli. If you're in the area stop in for that small town shopping experience. Edit...No longer owned by a local family unfortunately.

This particular grocery store is located in meeker Oklahoma. A good mom and pop feel. Sale prices are great but some items will cost you more than going to Walmart. A good variety of items and even some items I don't see at Walmart.Just remember that shopping at this store, your money is staying local.

Love shopping here but note that they now close at 8pm everyday not the 9pm listed here. I live 25 minutes away and got there just after 8 and they were closed. I come here for Marak milk which is all I will drink and always hit their fresh meat while there.

This is a very nice grocery store it is small but always clean, employees are pleasant an never really a long wait to check out lots of parking I would recommend 8 out of 10 an that's because not a big selection to choose from on certain things. And it's just a small town grocery store so some of the prices are kind of high.

Wonderful staff. Sheldon is an awesome butcher. He knows the area well and is a wealth of knowledge. The store has a great selection. A lot grown right here in Oklahoma. Fresh veggies and meats. Hometown milk. And super sales every week. The weekly meat packs make great bulk buys to stock up. Prices are good for a small grocery store. You'll spend gas money to save 10%. Not worth the drive to a big store. UPDATE: still our go to grocery store. The stock is increasing and zero empty shelves. We love the staff. They are always friendly and helpful.

I disagree with some posts about being pricey. It just depends on what you buy. The quality is there not just quantity. Walmart is high in some produce and locally grown is best. I would like some national brands in the shelf’s. I can’t shop here to often as we live far away, but when we can it’s a blessing to come. They know their products and I’ve never been steered wrong.

Love this grocery store. They have locally grown produce and farm fresh eggs. The employees are always super nice and helpful. The prices may be a little higher than Walmart, but supporting small businesses like this is worth it.

I really love the prices which are competitive with the big name grocers. It is conveniently located. The produce is always fresh. The meats are of great quality. The employee's are friendly, helpful and courteous. If the store doesn't have a certain brand or item you use, they will do their best to order and keep it in stock. I only shop at Anthony's as it is a local business and it keeps the $$ in my neighborhood. So before you head to the big chain stores, try our local grocer and check it out for yourself.Happy ShopperMillie

I love this grocery store. Their claim to fame is their meat counter. Where else around here can you have a personal butcher who can get you exactly the right cut of meat for the occasion. They also have regular ad sales, which overlap on Tuesdays. Everything I have bought there has been high quality and well priced. Shop local and support this store whenever possible! (Easy drive from Shawnee and they have a sister store in Prague.)

We stopped in this small town grocer as we saw they had NY strips on sale for a very good price. Since we were there we went ahead and did some of our regular shopping as well. Prices were generally comparable to other stores we stopped, some things higher, some lower. The store was somewhat crowded but had most of the things we were looking for.We were disappointed to see that ALL of the steaks (not just the steaks on sale) were cut 1/2 inch thick. Only way to cook one like that is shoe leather. In order to cook a steak properly it needs to be cut at least 1 inch or more, otherwise it comes out well done before you are done searing it. Hope it was a fluke and someone in training made a mistake.

Good selection to choose from. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The store is clean, well-lit, and there is plenty of parking. The cash registers accept Google and Apple Pay, which makes it easy to track purchases.

So happy Anthony's Foods came to Meeker! The best and friendliest customer service! Makes it always the choice to go local for groceries instead if driving all the way to Shawnee. Sometimes you pay a little extra but the sales, the meat dept. and the produce dept. keeps me here instead of making a drive. But especially the nice people working there! 😁

Okay so they are pretty pricey on some things but they have some really good sales and they have an awesome meat bundle package every week for cheap also they have things I've never even seen before plus I noticed that they have in store price drops that are not in the ad and some of them are really good deals...

I love this place, despite other reviewers saying they are expensive and the fruit/vegetables not being fresh, they are and prices are very comparable to the larger chains. The staff has always been super friendly and get to know you on a first name basis. Support local businesses

Great groceries. It has a deli area where they make a fresh cut meat and cheese sandwich, chips and drink for $4.00! Fantastic win win lunch.

They sell fresh milk from a local dairy. More expensive but the cows are grass fed, non GMO, lightly pasteurized. It has some of the cream still in it. The workers are very nice and helpful.

If you live in the area and your just looking for a quick trip for a few simple things then look no further. Anthonys will likely service all your necessities but will most definitely lack in all of your particular taste or specific recipes. Being the only grocer in town also allows for a bit a price gouge. If you are more of the one time a month shopper I wouldn't recommend.. Walmart and aldis are well worth the extra 15 min drive for a much bigger variety and cheaper prices.
