Cleaner than it was. Poorly stocked shelves only have the more expensive name brand stuff. And restroom is always broke. Closes at any given time no matter the schedule

The staff there lately have been more than helpful, kind and friendly. The girls have been dealing with a door that hasnt been fixed while all this cold winter weather first started when the first freeze was here. The corporate office refuses to fix the door telling them just manually open n shut the doors as well having to tell customers pull the door shut as they are entering the establishment to shop

Ran in to get one item. The store looks amazing! You can walk down every isle w/out tripping or running into things. All shelves are well stocked.

Why can't they stay open in accordance to their posted store hours everytime I come over here they're closed and it's before 10... Change your store hours to closing time 9:45 or whenever we feel like it... Total bs!

Been trying to buy club soda for about 6 months. They say they will order some and never have. 5.31.23 tried to call the store three times and no one answered. Took ratings down to two.

This is the worst stocked and ran DG I've ever been in. It is a mile from my house and I shop here at least twice a week. Today there was at least 4 aisles that were completely blocked, the products on almost all the shelves are completely out of order and looks like a bunch of people just came in shopping and threw the items back on shelf and floor., there has been 3 carts of boxed product that hasn't been moved in 4 weeks.... 4 weeks! The store is filthy and poorly ran.. . Manager needs to pay attention or be fired! If it were not so close to home for convenience I would never go in it again.

This is a nice Dollar General. The shelves are really tall and it was well organized. We found everything we were looking for. Plus more. It was surprising to me that this DG in thr middle of nowhere was better stock and organized than any of the ones I've been in in Denison.When we checked out, the cashier was really sweet. She got my attention when we forgot our bags, even though she didn't have a voice.

Needs more employees at night. Had to wait about 5-7 minutes on cashier because she was busy stocking shelves. I do not think this is fair to the customer or employees. You should have an employee stocking and an employee as a cashier. Either way their should be at least 2 employees at night if for nothing more than safety. This DG is in Mead, not the safest place in the world. Please take the safety issue of your employees into consideration if nothing else.Thank you.

I don't recall a time no matter how busy they I always get a hello. And it feels like walking in to the old General stores of yesteryear. Plus I bet ya there has been a a hand full of times in the past year I've been there and they don't have what I needed. And of all the Dollar General Stores that I visit in a month (we have 5 close to us) Mead, and 4 in Durants and only 2 of them seem to have what we always need.And both make you feel welcome. Those 2 store are the one on 1st. in Durant just and 1/2 block from my daughter in law's work the other is in Mead. The Main st store was always a huge mess and our of everything about 96 per cent of the time. And the one on Radio road ran a close 2nd. ( keep in mind that we have already passed one grocery store and radio rd store is about 2 block's from Wal-Mart, our 1 st sto=re is less then a 1/2 block from the university. We usually get to either store ( at around 4 or 5 in the evening), both Wal-Mart and Pruetts are usually packed at those time and one lacking the help on cashiers and the other even with baggers and help out with your groceries. That we will continue to use our 2 favorite Dollar General Stores to pick up our item's needed for dinner, snacks or breakfast.Sorry for the long review but I needed to speak my peace and voice thoughts on all the employees who work in each of those 2 storesThank you

No inventory, inventory stocked backwards. But clerks could not tell me where to find cold bottles of water, which by the way was not stocked. Miss managed and very dirty store.

Last time I went, I only got the right side of my recent printed. This visit the system wouldn't pull my $5 off $25 coupon & the manager couldn't fix it. "They didn't teach me how to that." Well, I didn't have a physical receipt because of said previous visit.
