I prefer this location over other Dollar General locations in neighboring towns. This location is a good place to pop in for a quick visit when I am needing to pick up a few supplies & don't want to have to drive all the way into Shawnee to visit the big box store. It's always nice to check out the new items that they may have gotten in since my last visit. I like that this location is located close by in my hometown. The only downside is the DG app is not correct when it says an item is available in the store for purchase. Visited 9-25-22.

I enjoy going in whenever I visit the area. Joel Mendoza, we call him Trey, is such a delight. He’s always friendly and helpful. I’ve also noticed a HUGE difference in the appearance of the store. He’s been able to clear out inventory that has always been stacked in aisles, has stocked shelves, and removed hazards blocking rows. You are so lucky to have him, Mcloud and wanted to give him a shout out.

Store Manager is dishonest. I went in to by diet Mountain Dew. I walk back to it and there is a tab that says 3 for 5$. I took my glasses out of my purse to make sure it was for Mountain Dew, it was. I go up to pay for it and it rings up at full price. I said no it’s 3 for 5$ The blonde cashier walks back there, comes back and says there is no sign. I go back there and the sign was removed. I know it was there because I touched it when I was reading it. Won’t shop here again! Reported it to District Manager. Mr Chris Pucker. Waiting for him to reply.

I am not from around here and needed some quick items for a road trip. Everything was easy to find even tho the layout was different than I am use to. Employee was busy stocking but quickly came to the register as we walked up front to check out. At the store I normally stop at on a daily always make me wait to check out. I normally have to go find some one to cash me out when I am at my daily store.

I go to this store a few times a week. The manager, Mike is very helpful and nice. They could use more people that can keep the store more organized and cleaner. The regular employee's are pretty lazy, from what I've seen over the year's. Overall, I keep going back because they always have the stuff I need and use.

The assistant manager, Chelsea Farrow, comes in drunk on her days off and criticizes and distracts all the employees from their job no matter how important the job is that they are doing, on top of that she is rude to everybody. Formally a past employee. :)

The store itself was fine, same as always. The issue was that they have mandatory masks and only half the employees wear them, so it is difficult to enforce with customers.

It's always cluttered and you can't get through the isles, let alone find things needed. Someone needs to revamp the inventory to carry, and the isles. Or build bigger stores to carry all the inventory to where it looks neat and clean.

I like Dollar General but they have crappier products for Walmart prices. The catch is they put them in rural areas so they can cat fish you with convenience. Lower your prices DG.

The manager is always polite and helpful. I try to go when he is there and not in the evenings when a certain worker is there whom tends to always have a very nasty judgmental attitude.

They usually have what I’m looking for, but they could try and add another cashier when the line gets so long that you wait there for 10 or more minutes just to check out. It gets pretty frustrating especially when you are running in to get a couple of items really quick and get out.

The sales clerk and her manager gave great service! The clerk approached me when I was looking for some allergy medicine for my teenager and her and her manager gave me recommendations.

this is a messy place! items just thrown on the shelfs or stacked at the end of the isle. if there was another dg close i would go there.the family dollar up the street is waayy cleaner.

I’ve been in Mcloud for 2 years and I’ve always chose dollar general over family dollar but I went in tonight and I was shocked with how disgusting this store was. I asked the employees what happened and they said “no one cleaned last night” as they were leaning on the check out counter. If you got time to lean, you got time to clean!! I think it’s time for a new set of employees because I’ve never seen this store like this!!

Just an average dollar store. Could be a little cleaner and less congested but better than some. Busy store. Checkout line long and time consuming. Not much competition around.

Typical DG atmosphere in town if McLoud. I like their soda waters and their dollar isle buys. Employees not to friendly.
