Well employees are always friendly and punctual. However the store condition and lay out is just pure disarray. Been in many family dollars but this stores layout makes it hard to find ANYTHING! But floor plans and short staffed are not employees fault. As I said exemplary employees on my visits.

We came in 5 minutes before they closed (not realizing). We’re walking in and a very rude unkept looking woman said “I hope you don’t have a lot of shopping because we WILL be closing in 4 minutes”. My husband said on no just a couple things. We went in and we needed a shower head and some body lotion and I needed a bra. Well we’re gathering the stuff and the same haggard lady bellows in her rudest voice WERE CLOSING RIGHT NOW. I told my husband just put the stuff back and we just won’t spend our money there. As I’m walking out I comment to my husband that it’s not necessary to treat customers that way and the other lady working just decided she was going to interject in our conversation as were walking out, she says oh well we’re closing! And I said I will review this online and she said good, go ahead! So I’m going to call and email corporate because I don’t think that sort of treatment is acceptable especially since there are so many other dollar generals right here in the same town. We just went to check it out because we hadn’t been in before. Believe me we won’t be back but they will be hearing about it because honestly they messed up bad with me and I will see to it that it is reported. I hope anyone that wants a good experience with exactly the same product quality go to the dollar general because they are friendly and obviously more ethical in customer service quality!!

Very disappointed! it seems every time I visit that store, it is junkier than the time before. It's almost like going to a rummage sale. It looks dirty like they never sweep or mop? The greeting card selection sucks and what is available is in great disarray. Compared to the Dollar General Store on South Main (I rate ita 4) this store is a 1!

We went in the store and grabbed some things. When we went to check out the lazy was on the phone the entire time we were checking out talking about being worried about a DWI falling off etc. I forgot I needed one item that was scanned already, on a different ticket. I asked her if she could remove it. She was too preoccupied to know exactly what I was needing done so I grabbed the item out and set it down so she could remove it. Come time to take it off she removed it and threw it in the ground. The item has a solar panel so I went and grabbed another off the shelf (had plenty of time with her talking on the phone) because I didn't want a damaged product. We finally got checked out of there and she remained on the phone.

Only rating one star because none isn’t a option.The cashier was in LALA land worried about what all the other people where doing, one lady shopping In her family dollar work uniform could NOT stop staring my friend and I down making me feel uncomfortable for whatever reason, 3 other cashiers where sitting talking and lolly gagging in the door way, not to mention shopping (employee was taking up the entire isle with her cart and had no intention on moving it until my friend slipped her way past. Store is plain RUDE.

Aisles cluttered. Walked from 1 end of the store to the other and never found someone to help me. 3 employees out the back door playing in the box dumpster. 1 Employee impressed me. Young blonde who checked me out. She was very nice.

Don't go to Walmart!!! Go to this Family Dollar. There's a huge selection of any household item and quite a good food selection. This is McAlester's best-kept secret. It's really freaking cheap and way more accessible than Walmart, which you have to access by either passing under the highway or turning left off the highway.

If I could give it no stars I would. The workers are rude. They do not know the different between a printed coupon and copied. The manager says her store like she owns it. Your not using that coupon app at my store???????? Ok ill go to the dollar store.

Found some really nice drapes for the bedroom. Blackout, too. Got Coke for $9 for 3 12pks. Found everything I needed and then some for $39. Awesome.

I went to pay for the milk I had went an got an as I hand her the money so calls me a Thief and says that I stole two phone chargers which doesn't make sense because I only got one phone but if she would've been noticing she would have seen that I put them back on the Shelf right there front of her and refused to roll back to cameras when I asked her nicely to and then yes I argued with her for a minute saying no I did not and then I started using bad words and calling her bad bad names that I'm not proud of but needless to say it was a bad store and I was called something that I've never been called so if possible I need the number to report the lady
