I wouldn't give them a 1 star rating if I could leave no stars. They totally disregarded what Atwoods in Checotah had told me and spoke to a different individual who couldn't verify my story so they could understand the situation regarding my warranty. Checotah atwoods was very helpful but didn't have a replacement or everything would of been great!. Mcalester store disregarded everything I said from the getgo! The Female manager was rude and acted upset because I interuppted her smoke break. She even mistakeningly called me complaining, being negative when she thought she was talking to the warranty people. I had to tell her she was talking to the customer. Pathetic!

I love Atwoods because they sell chicken feeds and dog food that are few dollars lower than other brand on a 50 lb bag. Saving money is my thing and same time good quality products for my animals and pets.

Bought some jeans. Bright orange price tag on them. Easy to see. Check out. Jeans are $10 higher than the price tag. Will not honor price tag. Mgr did say he would have all the jeans re-tagged. I'll check next time I'm there.

They had fence wrap in bundle with price we asked if price was right was told yes. Went got money came back still wrapped in bundle went in paid for it they said it's for only one why wrapped with price above it now I have wait 7 for my 300 dollars back

Had to do my own price checks walking with a walker. Other employee including assistant manager was busy chatting. Gave no assistant to cashier name Miss Jenny any help. Who was very kind and caring. Too many other places to go to and will do so.

I was in there looking at cross bow. A young man did eventually ask me if he could help but apologized because he said he didn't know much about them. I was very grateful, for his assistance. I have done a lot of research and just had few questions he was able to answer. As a female I had been ignored until then and was about to leave when he approached.

I needed two 30 lb propane bottles exchanged. At regester paid for full bottles and when I went outside to collect them I was informed that they were out. Butt the worst part was the attitude of the manager. She couldn't care less. Let's recap, now I still have no way to heat my cabin and now I have to wait to have the money back in my account. Attwoods sucks

This is my first stop for dog and horse feed and supplies. Also go here first for nuts, bolts, screws and tool boxes. Their guns and ammo are top notch and there's always a clerk available to help.I feel the clothing is too pricey for me. I'm not a fan of 60 - 90 dollar jeans and 30-50 dollar tops. But that's just my opinion. They do have a huge selection of clothing and boots.Store is clean and aisles are not cluttered up with boxes of freight.It's difficult to always find a flat bed shopping cart.There's always been someone available to load my animal feed into my vehicle for me. That's so much appreciated!

Bought a semi automatic rifle, would not fire. I’ve had guns since I was 8 years old. Talked to manager, he said I would have to send it to manufacture. Very difficult too send in. Very disappointed and would be very wary of ever buying a firearm there again. They would not help with problem. 0 stars.

No one greeted. No one offered help. I saw a young man in bright lime green vest and a girl in red shirt chatting. Both work there and I walked up to ask for assistance on buying their chicks. The fellow volunteered and my mother was able to pick out all 20 chicks from the same barrel. It marked at $3.99. As soon as we got to the cashier, the lady noticed that there were all mixed chicks and she said "these feathered feet are supposed to be 8 to 12 dollars and not $3.99. She called the same boy over and asked him about it. He confirmed the chicks were all in one container so someone misplaced them. No one had the knowledge about the chicks and how much the run. I asked many times if I could just get the ones that are $3.99. No one acknowledged my request. The line got really long too but the cashier continued to demand one of the boys to do another task and ignored us completely. They all were unprofessional and not courteous. I was really nice and allowed the person behind me to get rung up. Then after repeatedly asking about selling us the chicks to us. They just walked away and took all the chicks back. We went over to Tractor Supply Company, bought the chicks from there without any complications. Instead, you may want to learn a few tips of how to be a good customer rep like Chris from there. She was very courteous and offered her help before I even had to asked.

Went to look at the poultry selection we were not greeted when we walked in. Went to look at birds to see that not one of the ducks have a drop of water and looks like they haven't had water all day maybe longer. Chickens water was so dirty undrinkable. This was horrible to see.

SHOUT OUT to McAlester Atwoods!Our son took our Stihl weed eater to be fixed. After 2 YEARS of new mechanics, lost parts, and one runaround after another, the manager not only gave us brand new one, but upgraded to bigger model. Thank you Sean! 🙌 I definitely believe Sean went above and beyond for us!

Love this store and its employees. I always look for a reason to come here first. They have a good firearms department with a nice selection. If they dont have it they could order it for you. I like the tools, sporting goods and outdoor living sections while the wife loves the all marshmallow cereal they have. Of course the kids always love the free popcorn. They will set you up right.

Great place to buy my horse feed and products for my horses. No help in loading your feed, on your cart, nor in your truck. Not many rabbits to choose from at $20 each. Lots of working gloves to choose from. Same candy on shelves,needed dusting. Bathrooms very clean.

I shop here regularly. The employees are very helpful. They have a really good deal on wood pellets for my smoker. Not a huge selection of work boots or FR clothing though.
