We had a great time looking at all the cool toys and treats for our animals! The young lady behind the register was super nice and very helpful! The other young lady at the register was very nice and extremely patient while my ten year old daughter paid for her stuff! Awesome store and staff!

The store is better than it used to be but still has issues with keeping the shelves stocked with fast moving items. AGAIN I am forced to travel to Wichita Falls location because they don't seem to have this issue.Maybe I should order directly from "The Honest Kitchen" or from Amazon to save myself a 50 minute trip to buy dogfood. Then what's the point of a store? Also when your employees fill empty shelves with product that doesn't belong there it does not help whoever may order the product.

The team is helpful, etc, well managed, good groomers, and pet training. I personally don't endorse Petco because they sell animals. It's known that this company has thrown away live animals in dumpsters. They should stick to training, grooming, and products. Live animals should not be sold here, as they always look so sad... 😕🙁☹️

Could NOT find a collar to fit our little dog "Lilly", we were getting very frustrated, and so was Lilly, trying one after the other on....finally we went up front the they were so helpful, turns out, little Lilly just needed a "cat" collar instead of a dog collar, I guess it was the way she is shaped, but she IS in reality just a little dog. They were so nice to help us try them out to be sure.

Convenient location and knowledgeable staff. They have a diverse selection of inventory for a variety of pets. My granddaughter loves to visit with the pets and shop for treats for her bunny and chickens

I am truly blown away by the service I received 2/8/2024. Renae was not only an absolute delight but extremely knowledgeable and helpful with guiding us to the right needs and information and some how to do’s with the new puppy we got that day. She took AMAZING CARE of us and calmed all my nerves that day. I will literally continue to use this store and its resources for how she welcomed us and treated us that day as it was our 1st time ever there. Thank you for employing kind and caring staff! From the time you enter the store you know you are appreciated. I had all my questions answered. She made sure she got my phone number and checked for sales, discounts, etc. I needed a box and as soon as her register line was clear. she rushed to the back for my box. I call it the "Michelle Obama" treatment. I was treated like a celebrity. Oh yeah, with treatment like that, I'll be making up excuses to go back to the store!

I always receive excellent service at my Lawton, OK Petco. My only complaint is the store seems to have difficulty keeping the product I buy for my pet Kala, Instinct Raw Frozen Bites in all flavors for dogs, in stock. It is very expensive, but I prefer this high quality product and Kala LOVES it!!!

After taking my dogs to be groomed and skunks nailed trimmed they no longer trim their nails. Person told me that they have no experience with skunks yet that store has done it 3 times. I am not using that store anymore.

My visit to Petco was fun. Walked around and view the animals. There were no exotic animals on display. There were the the typical animals you would find in a pet store including fishes, reptiles, rodents and similar smaller animals. There is a large assortment of dog and cat foods. I also found treat and items to provide health support for cats and dogs. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I would like to say thank you to Petco for the wonderful advice and guidance the technician had given me to save four little kittens that had been stranded at 2 weeks old their eyes were barely open one of them was not but thanks to that lady that I spoke with there these little kittens are now four and a half weeks old and I would like to say they're beautiful very healthy thank you Petco you are a lifesaver actually 4 lives.

I have two dogs and 8 fish, I buy all my pet supplies here and have never experienced any issues with staff or services provided. The groomers take great care and pride in our pets and their work. This business also offers limited vet services for animal vaccines and wellness exams on a limited schedule. Getting appointments for grooming or health care is effortless with the app or by calling in person. Prices are fair for the location and services offered. Prices do vary depending on type of product, service and pet. Please bring your fur friend in for a stroll and maybe a new toy and if you don’t yet have a fur friend stop buy during their adoption days to find your new companion and as always Happy Travels -A

I called as I live in altus, about 55 miles away, to inquire about crickets, I usually get them at petsmart but they were out, was told yes you did have them, so my husband and I drove there only to be told there was a limit of 15 crickets!! That should have been told to me beforehand on the phone! I have 4 toads and a salamander so 15 crickets was ridiculous, a help but ridiculous 🙄

Distributor of Heartland dog food having trouble so the PETCO shelves were bare. My dog needed a specific type due to ear infections so the employee tried to give me some alternatives which was helpful.

I’m editing my review from a one starts to four-star because I spoke with the manager and I felt like she took the time to listen to what I had to say and also answer a lot of my questions my intent was not to get anybody in trouble but just to acknowledge there was an issue and I feel like she did listen to me and I do believe it was just an off day. Sadly it’s the same issue just like everywhere else understaffed and overworked and I understand that and she did go out of her way to help me and I do greatly appreciate it.Wish I could post zero stars. Live over an hour away and was wanting to purchase a bird. I purchased the cage online so that way all I would have to do is pick that up and then let them know which bird I was wanting. We got there 40 minutes before they close walked over to look at the birds a female worker came over turn off the birds lights and said they had to go to bed didn’t even ask if we were looking for anything or if we needed help with anything and then walked away. So we just go to the front counter to go ahead and get what we had ordered and made sure it was all in place and then ask them if we can purchase that bird. The worker just points is finger over to the side to indicate that’s where our online order is and then he says he’s too busy to get a bird for me. I snapped! I told him I felt he could probably find some time since it’s $1000 bird I’m wanting to purchase. I really wanted to just say you know what never mind and then I want a refund on my online order too but that little Conure had already stolen my heart so I was not leaving without him. I just don’t understand how a place to stay in business when their employees don’t even care about making sales.

Warning: Potentially Diseased Fish at [Petco Store Lawton, Ok]. And as of 12-2-23 they won't even sell you Cichlids because they say they have an Ick outbreak...I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the Lawton, Ok Petco. Recently, I purchased two baby Cichlids from this store, and within a few days one of them was swimming sideways, hiding and even laying on it's side. Within a week both of my 5-year-old Cichlids were coming down with the same symptoms and are now DEAD!!! I believe that the new fish were infected with dropsy, a contagious and often fatal disease, and passed it on to my older fish. I was able to administrator treatment and the original fish that was sick an (Electric yellow) and it survived, but the other baby a Firemouth did not survive, along with my 5 year olds.I am heartbroken over the loss of my Cichlids, and I am deeply concerned about the potential for other fish to be infected with various aliments at this store. I do not believe they take care of their fish very well at all at this location. I urge anyone considering purchasing fish from this store to proceed with extreme caution.Since I no longer have my recept Lawton Petco's Manager wants me to go through a whole drawn out process so he can reimburse me for the 53 dollars I spent that day. But tbh 53 dollars will not bring my 5 year olds back. So I will not go through your process sir, you can keep that money and keep that Karma! Instead of me jumping through hoops how about you get better at managing your store by developing better quarantine routines for new fish and not selling infected animals.I hope that by sharing my experience, I can help to prevent other fish owners from experiencing the same heartbreak that I have. People might have a chuckle and say "it's just a couple of fish" but you probably never had a pair of 5 year old Cichlids to wake up to everyday that are now GONE!

This place scammed me. They talked me into signing me up for their premier program after I asked 2 times if it was monthly and I could cancel anytime and they said yes. Sure enough.. it is an annual commitment. Luckily I was able to cancel within 24 hours or I would have been on the hook for almost 300 bucks. Their employees should either become better informed about what they are selling or quit scamming people to sign up. Safe to say.. I'll never been shopping at Petco again

Just thought the staff would think it's cool to know - my husband and I bought two cats from here (one in 2018 and one in 2019). We have since moved back to Canada with them after a long (and expensive) trip three years ago. They're absolute giants compared to cats here and everyone loves our huge southern "imported" cats. Remember - a pet is a life commitment, no matter where life takes you! <3
