I am a local to the area and this restaurant is my favorite place to eat! The fried mushroom appetizer and the Reuben entree with sweet potato fries are AMAZING. My wife gets the liver and onions and is always happy. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I can't count the number of times I've eaten there and can honestly say it is always a good experience!Kid-friendliness: We bring our 4 year old and 7 year old nieces every time and they are very accommodating.

$14 dollars for a meatloaf meal. And $10 margarita. I knew the price before I ordered, but I think it was way overpriced. The meatloaf was on the daily special. I never noticed what the price would have been if NOT on the special. They put a slice of bread on a plate. Then a slice of bacon. Then added the meatloaf on top of those. Next, they add the gravy. The definitely loaded too much gravy. The taste was good. The margarita should have given me at least a slight buzz for the price they charge. It didn't. I do not drink that often so my tolerance is very LOW. Other places charge $4.99 and I get my buzz :p. I won't go back. Unless someone else pays. Lol.Parking: Not much to say..

We visited this place for the first time today and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, they kept our drinks full and were attentive without being a pest. We both had the Cowboy burger with habanero bbq sauce(not for heat sissies). They had 1/2" thick meat and cooked perfect to our liking with thick cut fries. Amazing flavor. And the AC was working great on this 100° day. Thank you wait staff 👍.

Wife was wanting fish so we found this place,We asked about the calamari, twice, tubes or tentacles, the waitress said “ I don’t know I don’t eat it”So no appetizer, so we moved on.Wife got walleye, I got chicken fried chicken.If you get the walleye, be ready to pick out bones. No flavor at all. “Toothpicks” the waitress called them. The black hair on the side of the plate was a surprise but it was not on food so didn’t make it an issue.Chicken fried chicken was decent, gravy has zero taste. Salad is a bowl of lettuce with a couple slices of carrot radish and cucumber. Garlic bread was soggy and it came on its own plate. Seemed microwaved.No draft beerBottle prices are not shown or known by waitress.Extra fee to use a credit card.Won’t be back.—— added this after replyAfter the expected response from the owner. I’m adjusting my review to 1 star.Owner is a clown. Walleye should have not bones when served.Asking about bar prices is not uncommon, I can afford it, but I don’t want to overpay.Card fees are for tax deductible, < they are stealing from you!!This place is only loved by the locals without options and will die like the others with this poor service.

It was amazing kind staff and service. We got our drinks and food quickly despite the busy rush, it was a delight to see the owner upfront and active with the customers and staff! Fabulous service, even better food and drinks! Love the dining experience!

Our first time here. The food was very good and the portions were good. The prices seemed high compared to some places, but the hamburger steak was 1 lb versus the typical 6-8 oz patties elsewhere. Our server did a good job and is not the reason for 3 service stars. When we got our check, I was charged $0.51 for the cottage cheese and my wife wasn't. You get a potato and a veggie side, the CC was on the list and last time I checked it is neither and it also isn't anymore expensive than the other sides. The explanation I got was, I substituted it for a veggie and the wife substituted it for a potato, LOL. CC is neither and no more expensive than any item on the list. I then went to pay and they charged the non-cash penalty on. I don't know if I missed it, but I never saw this on a sign or on the menu. We would have still walked in and ate, but I like to know upfront what I'm paying and hate all these nit-noid fees. It wasn't the servers fault, but they got a $7 tip instead of an $9 tip. Good food and we recommend it otherwise, just order potato cottage cheese and not veggie cottage cheese.

The Cove Club is small town charm, great service, and amazing, like home cooked food, all rolled into one awesome place! Our server, Breanna, did a fantastic job making sure we were taken care of. Our food was delivered promptly, and our glasses were never empty. The Cowboy burger was delicious! I'd recommend making this place a destination the next time you're near Grand Lake.

Fantastic! The food was delicious, the service was incredible. Jennifer took such good care of my husband and I. It was so nice because it is our 7 year wedding anniversary. Steak was perfect! They have their own cherry infused vodka made in house. The owners were all there and just happy to help if needed which was super rare. Just a spectacular experience. We definitely rolled the dice to stop in and we don’t regret it. Fantastic!

Great dinner with friends who had never been. Restaurant is clean, nice pleasant atmosphere with good wait staff. We had Pauletta this trip and she is awesome! Very attentive to refills on our tea, ordering, checking on us. Very pleasant to interact with as well. She is the dessert maker and they are all incredible desserts. Save room.

This was a great place to go for some excellent food and even better service. Pauletta was amazing, always attentive, and made sure we never had to pause for anything. She even makes the pies in house, which look and taste awesome. Some folk mentioned the price, but I felt like you received the quality and quantity equal to it. The menu and specials has something for everyone and with eight of us, everybody liked their meal. If and when you have a special occasion, go down to the lake, ask for Pauletta and have a nice meal.

Foods a little pricey but the portion size and the taste was amazing, I always get their sirloin steak but this time they had homemade garlic herb butter available, it made my steak taste 10x better and I even put it on my bread. If you got the money I recommend eating here.

We have dined at The Cove Club several times, and we’re never disappointed with the meals since they are always delicious. The servers do an excellent job of providing great customer service, including our dinner tonight with Pauletta as our server. She was very attentive, professional, and had a sweet attitude with our group. Definitely recommend this place; I know we’ll be back.

Absolutely amazing.Pauletta is an amazing server, as are all of the people here!Food is all home-made and makes you feel all warm inside. Great friendly atmosphere and waiters you feel like are lifelong friends.I recommend this place to EVERYONE who visits the area!Definitely ask for the chocolate pie.Parking: We tied up on the docks and they gave us a ride on the golf cart.Kid-friendliness: People are friendly and I rarely heard any bad language.
