My husband and I sat at the bar. We ordered drinks and a half order of onion straws. They are so good! We received our salad and soon after our meal. I ordered the ribeye with Kat's potatoes (amazing) and my husband ordered filet mignon with the same. Our steaks were amazing! Mouth- watering and cooked perfectly! I had the creme Brule for dessert. Run, don't walk too this place!

It is not common to experience together the pleasure of finely crafted food and “home-town” hospitality, but that was exactly the case when we dined at Kat’s Steakhouse. From the warm welcome upon entering to the friendly farewell upon exiting, the service was efficient and enjoyable, which is another rare combination. We shared the fried onion appetizer which was both impressive in size and taste! Our salads, main courses (kebab-incredible; steak- tasty), sides (various-all delicious) and desserts certainly did not disappoint! While we only tried the Creme Brûlée at our table, it will only be a matter of time before we are back again to try the undoubtedly delicious remaining selections on the menu!

Exceptional little gem in the rough. Make your reservations today. You don't want to miss out. I recommend the 10 oz filet, you literally cut it with a fork! Everything a fine dining experience has to offer in the middle combine country.

We had an amazing time with family, with some amazing food and amazing drinks. What an exceptional restaurant to have in a small town. People come from all over to eat here. Reservation is a must!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Had the onion strings/rings with a ribeye and company potatoes. The onion strings/rings were very good. Nice seasoning. The salad was ok, but the croutons to me were good. Weird to say, I know. The ribeye had great flavor. Its right there with the best I've had in Oklahoma. The only one I've had that was better, was in KC. The company potatoes were ok. Maybe a bit over average. I did have a bite of the Kats house potatoes. I did like the company over the Kats house potatoes. I had carrot cake and it was very good. It was crowded and noisy. They were shaking mixed drinks right next to me and that was loud. They waitress, Lea, was very good and attentive. No room for a salad bar. That would be a good addition. I would go back and try a different side. Maybe steak fries or baked. MAKE A RESERVATION

We enjoyed our meal on our date night. I would have given full stars on all but the night we ate they had a Christmas party. They were drinking and yelling. If it wasn't a mind numbing at the top of the voice repeated yell it would have gotten full stars. I liked however the cook came to our table and apologized for it personally himself. Then chatted with us. This was a small town dinner with a big country stake house. The food and tea was top notch. 👌 thank you all.Dietary restrictions: We are keto so we don't eat carbs or sugarKid-friendliness: There was kids dining when we ate here.

Gathered here with family for a Friday night dinner . Reservations are absolutely recommended her. This small town spilled the beans on how good this place is and it’s busy !Small quaint steakhouse in Lamont Oklahoma. When it’s not nearly 100 degrees they have outside seating with a fireplace under a covered pergola. I’m sure this is very pretty outside in late fall .Would I drive a ways for this meal. yes. We split the chicken & ravioli and ordered extra salad and side . . Chicken was cooked perfect and ravioli were good my side was asparagus and half baked potato.We choose the ravioli because we have a two freezers full of beef at home and the price seemed a better buy.Nice bar to sit at while you wait, Linen tablecloths and napkins, friendly atmosphere good service and clean .~ Tonni

One of my favorites. Great steaks. Usually packed so make sure you call ahead and get reservations...or go online to reserve.Only complaint... Onion rings are more like onion straws. Mine was like the last of the bag.Just join their Facebook page and look at those steak pics everyday they post. Wish we lived closer!

I’m a steak connoisseur, eating at high end up scale steak houses all over the country.None is better than Katz.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a small intimate restaurant but it is wheelchair accessible. Recommend calling ahead to reserve a table.
