It is a unique experience. You sit inside a private room with control of light brightness, music volume, and room temperature. Beer is local and great, highly recommended. Food is spaghetti, two ravioli and a meatball that comes with any side you like. You have a menu to select your side. Overall nice atmosphere and food quality. If you are passing by you need to try it.Parking: Plenty spot to choose

Just passing through. Hey, this place has been open 100 years, the food has to be good.I was wrong. The food was EXCELLENT. Perfect sausage, great flavor to the sauce, very nice pasta. Waitstaff seemed rushed but friendly. Quick, clean, and quality place. Definitely going back when I'm in the area.

Pete’s Place was highly recommended shortly after moving to the area. We were greeted upon walking in and quickly shown to our table room. If you are unaware, each visiting party is seated in separate rooms. The privacy was a wonderful surprise and provided a quaint setting. Our drink orders were taking quickly however the beer list was overwhelming and not broken down into the different types. I blindly ordered a beer not knowing what it was and unfortunately neither did my server . Shortly after we received our anti-pasta plate, salad, and bread basket. The anti-pasta was four pieces of pre sliced cheese, six green olives, and four measly banana peppers. Our salad was iceberg lettuce overly drenched in what we think was vinegar and oil. The bread was AMAZING. Shortly after we were served our plate of spaghetti, two meatballs, and two ravioli. I am highly suspect based on taste and texture. The meatballs in the ravioli are frozen. The plate was served warm but not hot unfortunately. Our entrée was the steak for two and it arrived shortly after our spaghetti plate. The steak was under seasoned, cut prior to arrival of our table, resulting in all of the juices leeching onto the plate. Several sections of the steak were obviously overcooked on one side, and shortly seared on the other to compensate for our medium rare order. Overall the presentation was nonexistent resulting in a quick fizzle of excitement about the recommendation of this restaurant, and their food. Our service was superb, and our server was in constant contact and communication. I am happy to pay for an experience and for great food. I was greatly disappointed and let down with the quality of food at this establishment.

The layout, and concept is really cool as well as the staff is great, However the food is where they fail it is exspensive. Yes the complimentary food had good portions and taste ok, but the main courses were subpar and didn't taste good. If I'm in the area I may stop by again to see if it was a bad day, but I wouldn't make the drive specifically for this place again.Parking: There is plenty of parking.

Just visited Pete's Place in Krebs, OK and let me tell you - it's a must-visit! From the moment you step in, you feel right at home with the warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The Italian cuisine is absolutely divine, with a variety of hearty, flavorful dishes that reminded me of a classic Italian grandma's kitchen. The Chicken Parmesan is a standout, and the Spaghetti and Meatballs has just the right balance of flavors. Don't forget to try their homemade bread and salad, they are phenomenal! The portions are also very generous, ensuring you won't leave hungry. Loved the rustic decor and cozy feel of the place - it adds to the overall charm. If you're in Krebs and looking for authentic Italian food, Pete's Place should be your top choice. Can't wait to go back! #FoodReview #PetesPlace #KrebsOK #ItalianCuisine

5 Stars Is Not Enough. Pete's blends Old Traditions to New Family Fun in the best way imaginable. The waitress we had this evening blew our experience out for the water. She took care of the kids, and knew my beer selection when I went to check out!!! The sauce was soooo good! We drove 1,500 miles from New York to visit grandparents and we thought, no way this Italian can be as good as New York. Let me tell ya, WOW! The Italian sausage, the Lamb fries... Unbeatable! The beer is next level and paired sooo well. The private rooms are such a wonderful way to bring kids to dinner and enjoy it! We drove 1.5 hrs for dinner and 1.5 back, it was more than worth it!!!! Thank you Pete's for a wonderful Thursday!!! We will be back!!!

Stopped by with the family on our road trip for lunch on Sunday. Didn't have to wait long to be seated. I was pleasantly surprised that there was not a dinning room, each table has a private room. The prices seemed high until I realized we also get endless garlic bread, ravioli and meatballs, and spaghetti included. Then on top of that you get an entree. It's too much food. You can opt for the Italian Dinner which drops the entree. Service was good and felt very customized since we sat in a secluded table. The food we ate was good, although I think it was quantity over quality. My favorite part was drinking the choc beer that I can't find anywhere else. Overall very good and unique dinning experience.

The only good experience we had was our excellent server. She was attentive and nice. Our table was not level at all. My cup kept sliding and I'm sure would of went over the edge if plates did not stop it. The ceiling tiles need replaced, a lot of them have water stains. I could handle all of that if the food had been at least good. I didn't even know the bread was supposed to be garlic bread until I seen another person's review. The food is the absolute worst we've ever had. My husband couldn't even finish his tiny $38 steak it was so bad. I'm guessing they use almost no seasoning. It was a huge disappointment for our family night out. For the price you pay you'd expect good food.

Visit the most iconic family owned restaurant in Krebs, Oklahoma. The history hangs on the walls in black and white photos of the owners from generations past.Noted for family style serving, leftovers go home with the patron.Spaghetti sauce tasted bland, but the meatballs were delicious. Calf-fries were slightly overcooked but tasted okay.If you ask for a small, private dining room, it's perfect for a romantic meal or confidential business discussion. The larger rooms seat up to 75 people comfortably.

On our way back home from a day of hiking at Robbers Cave we decided to take a more scenic route. We accidentally found ourselves headed through the town of Krebs. If you are in this town, you have to get Italian food! Pete’s Place has been around for a very long time and it is spot that all Oklahomans should have dinner at at least once in their lifetime. This large restaurant has private rooms for your party and also all the Prairie Artisan Ale beers you could want. The menu works like this. Everyone orders an entree and shares that with everyone at the table. You are also served salad, bread, meatballs, ravioli, and spaghetti! This sounds like a lot of food, but you get all that stuff extra and can keep refilling it up for no charge. So the trick, get a lot of to go boxes. This is a hearty delicious meal that will leave you full for the rest of the day. The prices will be deceiving, but when you realize you might have enough food for several days, you will wish you ordered more! Enjoy!

Food was great and our lunch menu items were pretty good values; I brought home a complete meal and had plenty to eat! They also KNOW their beers. There is nothing more annoying than a huge list of beers from which to choose and staff that is no help in choosing one. Not a problem here!Next time we may split a dinner, get two salads, and get dessert. Will return for sure.

Great first time experience eating at Pete’s - spaghetti with red sauce, 2 meatballs, 2 ravioli and garlic bread came with any meal, then had to order a regular menu item so I ordered Italian sausage link - all was good, but I’d rank it all this way starting from the best: 1) ravioli; 2) Italian sausage; 3) garlic bread; 4) red sauce; 5) meatballs. Also came with small antipasto plate ( Muenster cheese, green olives, couple friggitelli peppers) and some crisp iceberg lettuce salad with vinegar oil dressing already on it (very fresh). Not cheap but I expect to return again sometime - server was excellent.

Stopped at Pete's Place on our way to Houston and so happy we did! The food and the ambiance is wonderful! Definitely my favorite Italian restaurant. I hope to pass through again! The only problem was that we didn't notice that our server charged us for a drink we didn't order until after we had paid. The staff, however, was very welcoming.

What a great place! They sit you in your own room with your own dining room table and chairs. They take your order and then bring out the setup. The setup includes: salad, spaghetti, meatballs and Ravioli in sauce, cheese, and bread. Then they bring your food out.I had the sausage and it was great, my wife had the lasagna.Another had the fried chicken and they were huge pieces. The last person just ate the setup.Pete's Place IS THE place for dinner. Friendly service and very ckean.Worth the price paid? YES!!!

Heard good things about this place and was excited to try the Italian cuisine as it's my favorite type of food. Believe me when I say that the food here was so bland, and the tomato sauce was worse than Ragu out of a jar. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice being in a small family room. Would not recommend this place however as it should be a crime to call this place authentic Italian cuisine.

In 1980 my wife & I visited Pete's Place on our honeymoon had a great time & dinner in a nice sized dining area, great service & food. So we decided to return this week as we were going to be in area after 44 years BIG mistake! Now the restaurant has expanded & because of the Eclipse it was packed. Their reservation system worked well & we were seated on time in a private dining room took our waitress about 10 minutes to greet us & she was very pleasant & helpful as we ordered. Food finally came in a semi timely fashion by another server while there was plenty the sauce had no taste to it & we weren't impressed by the meal at all plus the only time we saw our waitress was after we had completed our meal-positives of our experience were the ample parking, reservation system & our private room the rest was not so positive. I talked to some other folks I work with & they had been there in the last couple of years & had the same experience-neeedless to say we should have just kept our 1980 memories of the place and gone somewhere else!!

Stopped here for lunch after being referred here, and we were blown away! The atmosphere was very unique and the food was great! Sad to see them switching over to Pepsi products though as I am a Coca-Cola person. My only personal preference would be the spaghetti sauce could be thicker. Great place to stop and eat!!!Parking: Plenty of parking spots in the immediate area

Ate there around 3:00 today. Maybe 5 cars in the parking lot but we still had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. Waitress was friendly. Ordered lamb fries and all food was COLD, not even lukewarm. The warmest thing we were served was the bread. How can you freshly deep fry lamb fries and serve them cold? Temperature felt like it had all been sitting for at least 30 minutes. For those prices, I expect hot food. Meatballs used to be huge but are now tiny.

I've tried it twice now & I'm sorry, but it's not for me. The neatest thing about it is the private rooms. But it is way overpriced & your main entrée is just a single item. Granted, you're served family style, so you get this huge plate of spaghetti & some Ravioli. Before that you're brought salad & bread which is amazing. The menu is limited. There just wasn't much on there that I liked. But I will say I'm a picky eater.

We as a family of four love this place for dinner. We visit about 2-3 times a year. People complain about the prices but for what you get, it is really good. Service is always good (only ever had one bad service experience) in the 12 years we've been coming here.We love the individual dining areas. Some could use a better cleaning but it is what it is.Meatballs and ravioli are really good.We normally get the chicken Alfredo and chicken parm, both very good. Only thing, I do not recommend the fried chicken, wasn't good at all, very overcooked. The steaks aren't their wheelhouse either, but aren't bad. Their cheese cake might be the best we've ever had.If you've never eaten here, go for dinner, make reservations, have an open mind and enjoy yourself.Never tried the beer, hear it is great, but we don't drink.Parking: Parking can be tight with a big vehicle like a truck or big SUV, so be prepared if you're in a larger vehicle.

Reception was fear, cleanliness was good, including bathrooms.I was surprised by the privacy of the tables. Every table is in a small room with the option of closing the door for total privacy. Our waitress was very very busy and so the personal attention was not very good. She was quick quick go go go. Asked us for our drinks and ran out, came back asked if we were ready and ran out again. We did not see her til she brought us our check, I felt a bit rushed.Food was good. I had the lamb fries. Not very good but they were something I just had to try. We only got one bread. she offered us more but never brought it. Then She apologized for forgetting that and offered it to go but we declined since it made no sense to do so because I work in construction and we had to get back to work.Meat balls were awesome! Salad was awesome too.It be nice to have a tv in the room and have door closed all the time.

They must be under new management. I ate here a few years ago and the food was amazing. It’s a cool concept don’t get me wrong, it’s supposed to be an old house turned into a restaurant. You are sat in individual rooms with sliding doors for privacy and are able to dim the lights in your room as well as adjust the volume of the music playing in your personal room. On the downside they were playing traditional pop music, would have been more enjoyable if they were playing some easy listening jazz or contemporary Italian music to create a better ambiance. We ordered chicken parmigiana and shrimp Alfredo as our entrees, every person is supposed to order a entree and each entree is at least $20. They are served family style with spaghetti and meatballs, beef ravioli with house salad and bread served prior to your main courses. Salad is a simple vinaigrette and oil salad nothing wrong with it, the bread was actually pretty good, the spaghetti and meatballs were served cold, not to mention the sauce was super bland, so bland we chose not to take the spaghetti leftovers home, if we had we would have to have had to have dressed it up at home with some garlic and Italian seasoning to have even made to a decent left over meal. Shrimp Alfredo was served with shrimp with the tails and veins, what a pain to have to devein and remove the tails from the shrimp before you can eat your shrimp Alfredo. My husbands chicken parmigiana was not bad he didn’t have any complaints, over all would I eat here again. NO!

Pete’s Place is an iconic and nostalgic restaurant. The environment of the restaurant is captivating and makes eating here truly special. Each guest gets their own room, fit with tables, decorations, and a touch of “home”. The service is friendly, fast, and complimentary of the restaurant. The food is oh so good. Spaghetti, meatballs, ravioli, you name it! With the iconic Pete’s Place taste the food never fails to impress. The restrooms are clean and well maintained, alongside the eating rooms and waiting area. Pete’s place never fails to impress. With their iconic foods and experiences, it is a must visit in Oklahoma.

Save your money and eat at home.At $70 for two people, this was pure disappointment. Our server was sweet, so that was a bonus. The food was not good. The salad was just straight up oily. And it was only lettuce. So not really a salad. The antipasto plate was decent. Three banana peppers, a few olives, and some cheese squares. The garlic bread wasn’t particularly good, but it was plentiful and warm. The spaghetti was gross. Tasted like it came out of a can by Chef Boyardee. Same with the ravioli. The meatballs were the only thing of note. A 4/5 meatball. The chicken Parmesan was okay. It wasn’t great, and for an added $8 on the base price, it wasn’t worth it.The sausage was bad. It’s advertised as a special local Italian sausage, and it was dry and gross. Lacking flavor. The Choc beer was great. The only thing that was worth the price. $5 for a beer or $8 for a 6 pack up front.I would potentially stop in to grab beer, but for a base price of $18 a person for the spaghetti, meatballs, ravioli, salad, and bread, it’s way overpriced. Any local Italian joint can get you better quality for half the price. Dare I say that Olive Garden is worlds ahead of this place. And Olive Garden is nasty. Please save your money. Don’t waste it here. Spend the $6 in ingredients and cook at home.

2-Stars. Why? Food was excellent and the staff was great. The bad part was the order requirement. I'm a single dad with two children and we were there with a group of about 12 people. One order of spaghetti with meatballs would have been more than sufficient for the three of us. I was REQUIRED to order a meal for each of us. I was forced to order food items we did not want nor could we consume during that sitting. It ended up costing me a whole lot more money and it was a giant waste of food. We were staying in a hotel that evening and couldn't take the leftovers with us since our drive back home the next day was over two hours away.

So much food!!, I wasn't paying attention as usual. Ordered steak and shrimp which looked amazing. My brother ordered the Italian sausage. Then comes the salad and bread sticks which was amazing. Then I though the meals comes next. Boom here's come spaghetti and meatballs easily a meal in it's own for 2.then the meal comes and I ordered steak and shrimp. I was full but not that full yet. Oh and forgot about the steak comes with sautéed mushrooms. I ordered my steak medium rare And the steak was cooked perfect The only negative is it needed a little salt. Oh and I forgot the bread sticks are endless with the spaghetti. Me and my brother are driving my motor home from Georgia and stopped to play on a pool tourney. There where always people outside of petes PlaceBut we didn't know the name. So my brother just drive to it. No idea what food it was. And I'm glad he did. Must tryWe are on the road back to Idaho. Happy trails
