I have stayed here many times for family and fishing outings. The owners, James and Brenda, are fantastic and will cater to your every need. This place is quiet, beautiful, and has the grilling pavilion/fire pit area to relax and cook out. If you enjoy time in nature, then look no further. This motel blows most hotels out of the water. The atmosphere, the cleanliness, surrounded by nature, the three ponds, walking trails, grilling area, and area to just play corn hole kick back and relax with your family, the on-site convenience store is also a plus. Beautiful clean modern rooms. Well done folks, well done, five stars.

The owners are amazing to work with and very kind. The rooms were quaint and comfortable but still had all the amenities. The only complaint I have is that, to me, the mattresses are uncomfortable. However, it was an amazing location lots of outside activities, etc. It was perfect for our girls getaway. I highly recommend you stay here.

The Woods was recommended by a friend who had stayed there previously. Online reservation was easy; confirmation and check-in instructions were thorough and timely.My stay was brief, so I didn’t experience most of the amenities offered, but my cabin was very clean and quiet, the coffee was great, and checkout was simple. I’d definitely stay there again!

Everything there was really fun. The rooms were nice and spacious, there's 3 ponds to fish, outdoor activities area, and the ac kept the room cold all day in 104⁰ heat. Check in and check out was a breeze with very detailed information on how to locate the drop box. In the room there's a guide with great local restaurants to choose from and other local things to enjoy. 10/10

We recently spent the night at the Woods Motel. It was very, very nice. The property is beautiful with a lovely pond and well maintained parking lot. The outside of the units also appear very well kept. We arrived after ten pm after traveling all day and the key was just where the email said and we were able to let ourselves in with no contact. The inside of the room looked like new! Updated and extremely clean, as well as a comfortable temperature. The bathroom was sparkling as well. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The shower in the morning was refreshing with hot water and good pressure. We stayed in one of the pet units as that was all that was still available and there was zero evidence of any previous pets. My family went for a walk and took advantage of some of the games. We had to leave at nine am, but would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend this property!

We have stayed twice and will certainly be back! They are so friendly and helpful! The grounds are beautiful!! Such a quaint little cabin clean and new looking! The outdoor space is amazing as well! We love getting neighboring cabins with friends and family to hang out around the fire pi, play horse shoes, cook out on grill provided! It’s perfect ‘lake’ get away!! Our favorite go to reservation for striper fishing trips!!

This was an amazing place to stay and the perfect home away from home. The owners are extremely nice, the grounds are well kept with beautiful ponds and our room was so clean! While we really just needed a place to stay while visiting family, you could definitely spend all of your time here and have a great time fishing, grilling and just hanging out. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Oklahoma!

Absolutely great place to stay at. My friends and I booked a guide on Lake Texoma for a fishing trip and we stayed at The Woods Motel. Location was great between Buncombe Creek Marina and several great places to eat at. The motel itself was very very very clean. Plenty of activities on site along with the 3 ponds to fish at. We caught and released several small fish. I'm definitely looking forward to booking this motel hopefully for many more years and fishing trips to come.

I have stayed here about five times. James and Brenda, the owners are great! This is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed!! The grilling pavilion is awesome and my family made good use of that this week. The ponds are an added bonus and I love to fish them too. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The check in process was smooth and easy. The rooms re very nice and updated. All amenities were wonderful and I will be a repeat customer. The a/c kept our rooms cold and the beds are very comfortable. I had a duplex with both rooms rent for our stay and I could not here the other room at all. Great place to stay be far. Great prices as well.

We stayed one night here for our anniversary and fishing trip and loved it! We wished we had more time to enjoy the nice room and lovely surroundings. Our room was very clean and so cute! It also had a beautiful view of the pond and fire pit. It is on my list of favorite places I've ever stayed! We hope to bring the whole family back sometime.

This was one of the cleanest cabin’s I’ve ever stay in. Everything was so well kept. The staff was very helpful. The website was very helpful. They even send very neat and informative confirmation emails. I was greatly impressed by this place.

This place is really nice. Rooms were clean. Everything is nice and new. The shower has good pressure, I hate rooms that you can't hardly rinse off because on lack of water pressure. The bed was comfortable. There's a little pond, a pavilion with a grill. Really a nice place. You won't be disappointed.

My stay was excellent because it is a little piece of heaven created by a couple who have the will and desire to make a beautiful place. They offer so much. Sitting areas, walking trails, 3 ponds, and firepits and places to BBQ. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I have even taken a blanket out onto the grass area and enjoyed just laying under the shade of the trees.. It would be a great place to visit with a few friends or even by yourself. There is a serenity and peace about the place that I come for. Give respect to it.. God bless this place and God bless the owners.

It is an Excellent place to stay if you are going to Lake Texoma and don't want to stay in a big hotel in town or stay at the lake. It is in the country only 5 minutes from Town and 15 minutes from Lake Texoma. It is cabins that have 2 guest rooms in each. They have thing to do to make it feel like camping without àll the hassle. They have ponds to fish it. It is accommodating to children with a playground. Great place for a romantic get away or even just a Friends retreat. Love this place hope to go back soon.

I stayed at the Woods in early August while fishing a tournament on Lake Texoma. This place was so nice and ridiculously clean. It was safe and even had exterior cameras that could be viewed from your room’s TV. That is very important for fisherman to have confidence that their boat and contents will not be messed with. I would highly recommend and I will be back

Absolutely amazing stay. The rooms were clean and the owners are amazing. The property is beautiful. Our 2 and 7 year old girls both caught their first fish in one of the ponds on the property. They even offered to let us keep our lake texoma catch in their personal freezer. The grillin pavilion is a perfect place to grill outdoors, it even has a Bluetooth sound system. The wifi in the rooms is great, smart TVs with all the apps that you can imagine. I can't say enough good things about Brenda and James's place.
