A nice, cozy little diner in jay. The cook makes the biscuits and gravy from scratch and it taste amazing. First time at this little Cafe & I was impressed. It's clean, staff is friendly, food is good & you get plenty of it & the prices are really reasonable. I didn't make it into the bathroom to check it or it probably would have gotten a five. Great job staff. We aren't over this way very much but when I am. This is where I'll be eating. Oh yeah I love the old country music you play. You don't hear George Jones very often. 👍😊💖

I had the sausage biscuit that was very good. My sister had the breakfast burrito which was also very good. Brother in law had the breakfast plate. Eggs were badly overcooked and the gravy was flavorless. Mother had the same. She didn't eat her eggs. Also, the coffee had very little coffee in it.2 out of 4 dishes were good, 2 were not so good. Service was excellent.

Food is not often checked for expiration date, biscuits pre-made by cook and used for DAYS until gone only sitting in a pan covered with foil. Dishes are often not throughly washed. The food is good on a day you catch Dawn or Chenoa in the kitchen spotty otherwise. Waitress answered phone sounding like she was on something, mistook a double hashbrown for doubling WHOLE order. In person service only slightly better, but you are often not acknowledge for anything other than your order. Brings check with order, makes me feel rushed.Dietary restrictions: Food is not typically seasoned heavy, though you can request some seasonings and they will bring it to you to season to taste.

Nice laid back place.We went there for breakfast, we seated ourselves and were brought menus quickly.The staff there are friendly and the place has a nice country, laid back feel.Check them out when your in town, you'll enjoy your time for sure.

Easy to get to, fast service and good food. It was a little more expensive than I was thinking, but still, overall, we enjoyed it.Something that caught me off guard was the menu item for "Squirrel Brains" (farm raised). I didn't know that was a thing!! I didn't get them, but couldn't stop staring at the menu ;)

Excellent service and food. We were just talking the other day how we miss a dairy grill don't we used to have back in the day. And now every time we go through Jay, please stop by for lunch. They also serve breakfast, but that is going to be our next experience. Overall it was very excellent!

We didn't get any photos, I was busy with the baby. The ladies took great care of my littles, baby had grits and the twins ate grilled cheeses, my oldest got what she called the bestest yummiest 😋 burger ever! 🍔 My husband got his usual liver and onions 🌰 🤤 🤤 he raves about it from this place 😋👌 I got the cheeseburger wrap, oh my gosh ya'll that was some kinda delicious and filling!! I was actually 😮 surprised with the fast service and good sweet tea!! I had been craving some good sweet tea (like I grew up on!) We will be back when we're working out this way!! 🤗

Really friendly staff, and GREAT atmosphere easy to locate from the road. Food was pretty decent, had a bad pancake but I won't take that into consideration of all of their food. The Spanish breakfastc burrito was excellent and biscuits and gravy were good but definitely needed salt. Everything else was good.

Very nice wait staff, killer burgers, overall an A+ diner experience. We showed up starved about 30 minutes before they closed. They sat us and joked with us with us, and we had a great meal and a great experience. We were the last to leave, but they never made us feel like we needed to get out.

I'll give you 2 stars for the awesome staff! Very polite. Small portion of food. Normally you order a loaded baked potato and it's really loaded but not from here. Veryy small potato and very little cheese. I suggest going to pig and out and getting you a loaded baked potato there you get your money worth for 6 bucks.

Always friendly, neat and good old fashioned cooking you can't find anymore. The said bar is Always so cold and fresh and French fries are homemade. Doesn't get any better than this . Love it and go as often as we can. Worth the trip from Grove for sure !!!

The food was great, everything made by hand. I had a cheeseburger and you could tell the meat was thrown on the flat top and smashed with the pancake flipper. The cheese was melted completely and the bun toasted. I had onions, pickles, lettuce and tomato and all were fresh, crisp and juicy.The fries were skinny, hand cut and delicious. Try the cinnamon rolls, YUM!

Great service here and the food was good but I was surprised at the small portions we received. I saw in other reviews that the portion size was high so maybe we just got there on an off day. I would try again.

The breakfast I got was not good at all!! Every bite had grease dripping from it. I didn't finish it because I was afraid to get sick, but my stomach felt sick for hours after we left. My husbands favorite meal is breakfast and he didn't like it either. The employees were nice, but very loud and unprofessional. Will not go back.

First visit with my sister for lunch. Street parking, has a drum you strike upon entry and departure, booth and table seating. Very casual, daily specials. Service prompt and courteous, waitress wore cowboy boots but professional. Desserts are also delicious.

Nice little place. Has a mom and pops type feel to it. Nothing extravagant, just a bunch of friendly people looking to serve good and generate light conversation. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area again. Of note, there is a creepy little doll thing of sorts that I'm told gets moved around the place. Happen to be in the restroom when I was there, under the sink...damn near scared the S#*t out of me.
