I went in looking for fly traps. They had two left. The place looked almost empty of items. I went to check out and a lady rang me up on a hand held. She was nice. Pretty good experience. This was our 1st visit and we were very impressed! Great selection of products, good prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Jake helped us with our new chicks and the stuff we needed for them. Cashier got us signed up for a rewards program and saved us $$ on our purchases. We've already returned to get materials for our garden. Happy the store is close to Antlers.

Brad was very helpful in the tools dept in searching for the correct bolt I needed. The girl at the register must have a rough day cause she was not personable nor friendly. She acted like I was bothering her in buying something. Maybe Miranda or something with an M. I get it cause I used to work retail, retail sucks sometimes but this chick was beyond ridiculous with her attitude. Owell. Thanks Brad!

Just needed a couple of items, lawn mower battery and equine aspirin. The associate working near the front door greeted me upon entering and as I left, she was very nice. Looked for the aspirin for quite a while, no associate in sight, went over to the lawnmowers and to automotive in search of the needed battery, no associate in sight again, slim stock on the batteries and not the right size, so after wasting too much time with no associates working the floor, I left and will go to TSC tomorrow I guess. Very disappointing, but this has happened in this particular store previously.

Always rude. You ask where something is & they literally point in that direction.They quit carrying dog food without letting anyone know & that was the only place in town that carried that brand.DON'T BUY THEIR CORN!!! It's a waste of money, very low quality & not clean at all! We filled feeders with at least 1,000 pounds of corn & a week or two later we noticed the leftover bags smelling. We opened them up & saw mold growing! It was in our feeders, too. Thanks, orscheln's for ruining hunting season for us..

Very low stocked. Went in to grab a bag of fence clips. No fence clips... decide to buy a bundle of T-post because they come with fence clips. My property has orange T-post. No orange T-post... walk up to the front tell the cashier the situation and ask if I can buy a bag from the supply of fence clips outside with the T-post to get me through the day. The answer was no... and there was no effort to help or even a hint of customer service mindedness.

Watch out for this company. The are committing deceptive trade practices. We purchased an item in Sherman Tx but it was wrong. We returned it to the Hugo store unopened with receipt. But apparently the Orscheln has sold out to TSC and the Sherman location to baumgarten. But until November their signs all still say orscheln. But we could not exchange the item, even though it rang up the amount on the receipt and the same items were on the shelf. It would have been exchanged if we didn’t show the receipt. Very deceptive.

Didn't have what we went in to pick up. They blamed it on they are not receiving merchandise as Orscheln has sold out to TSC, and they are in the process of changing over. We ended up going to Ace Hardware.

A store a good ol country/cowboy can appreciate to take care of things on the farm and keep the herd fed.They have lots of tools and parts for fixing stuff around the farm, items for common pets such as cats and dogs and the not so common ones, like the chinchilla we were shopping for, as well as cages for little critters all the way up to the ones big enough to ride (OK not actually cages but fencing for the big guys) and large water troughs to make sure thr big guys always have water and the kids have a place to swim!.You will also find country western jewelry, toys for lil cowboys and girls of all ages and clothing, including gloves, hats. boots, tees and jeans from infant the to the biggest of cowboys and cowgirls ( very limited selection of women's plus sizes). I did find the clothing to be quite pricey, however, it is a specialty store so ill cut em so slack there.What shouldn't be lacking is customer service, it was nonexistent and not for lack of trying,, we literally had employees shrug their shoulders and tell us they didn't know the answer to many of our questions and they didn't even bother to ask another employee or help us in any way. We even found some of their information to be wrong,for example the 1 helpful employee that was primarily a back room stalker. located an item we were told by the other clerks, they had never seen there and didn't belive they carried it. We also googled the answer to some of our questions regarding toys and food for the chinchillas we were shopping for and found it contradictory to what we had been told by employees, although they may be much more knowledgeable on the needs of the more common animals customers usually coming looking to purchase items for.Overall selection was pretty good for the type of store that it was with even some very unique country/farm/cowboy esthetic stuff. prices wr a bit high on the clothing and jewelry in particular and customer service could have been much better, however I would still recommend anyone passing by to give this place a quick stop if you have never been, I even heard they ocationwlly have live baby 🐤 🐔

Some things are hard to find. We were needing a brass fitting for our well & called Orchleans & Brad was very helpful & very courteous & helped me with the exact part we needed. May I say, I called every hardware store that we thought would have the part so if ever you can't find what you're looking far call Orchleans.

No prices marked on anything outside went to ask prices I was told by three employees that only the cash register lady knows the prices.I'm new to the area love to support local businesses but the $300+ Im spending today is going to be at Walmart outdoor. 5/17/22.

They have rats running around from isle to isle. Let an employee know that I seen a few and was told “ oh we know we let them eat the mice and then try to shoot the rats”. Nice store and people just not real sure I want to shop in a rat play ground

I'm slightly addicted to Orscheln Farm & Home store. They seem to have everything and do a great job of rotating product to cater to customer needs season to season. I spend 1/2 my time there wandering the aisles just soaking in the volume of products they have. They're an asset to the community.

Usually when we go there the cashiers are friendly and willing to help, not the same today. No large feed carriers was available nor did she try to find them. Had to have a stocker to up us look for our corn in the back

Good store. Lots of items. If you need something for farm, ranch, garden, or pet, they should be able to help. I needed dog food, dog bowls, leash, and a harness. They had all that, but not the kind of food I was looking for. Bought what they had. Works for now.

This is the worst run store … they never have the dog food I purchase from other Orschein stores … the girl that answers the phone seem as if she could care less in helping a customer … I had to repeat myself 3-4 times … definitely needs new management
