I'm a little bias because I work there. But my bias is because I work there and know how our operation is ran. We have great people at Wild country that know their job and do it well and I'm glad to be apart of it 🤠🇺🇲

I have been buying beef for 25 years from the same place but using a different processor. They switched and started using Wild County Meats. I need to trust my processor that I get all my beef and it is cow I purchased. I can not now. I picked up my meat in December and just got a phone call they did not give it all to me and I owed additional processing. It is a 3 1/2 hour round trip for me. I asked to talk to Chris but he was in a meeting. When I called back they said he had gone home but was too busy to call me. The manager had gone home too. I have lost my trust. Am I getting my cow and all of it????? I asked them to waive $37.00 for gas but the man that called said he could not. So I am out gas and time for their error and I lost my trust. Waiting on a phone call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friendly, courteous, inexpensive. Just had a whole butchered and the first thing we had was a ham steak. It was the best ham steak I’ve ever had.

We just had the best experience dropping off a trailer full of pigs. The staff was awesome! They were all super nice and helpful. The fact that the owner was there and talked with us was a huge plus in my book. I can not wait to pick up the meat.

We live in Tulsa but have bought meat from Wild Country for several years. The staff is very helpful and Connie Brown has always made our experience a pleasant one. We truly miss the restaurant Wild Country had in Hominy. The food was good and staff always friendly. Would love to see reopen.

We've had beef, pork, and deer butchered with wild country and have been extremely pleased! The owner even went out of his way to help me on a situation where he didn't have to. We like the packaging and service. The girls are AWESOME! We'd recommend them to anyone. 5 Stars!!!

Very Professional and well kept establishment! It’s amazing on the inside, you can buy just about any meat you want. They even had Frozen Mahi Mahi fillets when we were there. Employees are very kind and will answer any questions you have. Great service and fun place!

This place is awesome. Their meat is always fresh, tender, and cut to order. The meat is a lot better then that you buy in store. My grandkids has told their momma they don't like the meat that she cooks they want the meat Gigi uses. As long as this place is open I will continue to buy my meat there 100%. God Bless this Company.

I was considering using your business to process some of my animals; however, after reading the posted response to AC’s review of his/her experience, I will definitely not bring my animals to you for processing.I fail to see how the manner in which the animal was transported or the fact it was on a leash has any relevance to the carcass weight. I see this as an unprofessional response to an unsatisfied customer. This unprofessional response causes me to question your professionalism in other areas of business. I will definitely encourage all I know to find other processors if this is an example of how you deal with customers who are dissatisfied.

The owner drove down to support us during the Moore tornado recovery. Ever since then, I drive 40mi put of my way to get family packs of meat that blows away anything you could get at your local grocery store! Great people - great product - great service! 5/5

The food was great and the service was great as well. The only drawback is the place is in desperate need of some ambient music. It's way to quiet for my liking. I'm not found of having to listen to every conversation going on around me. Also, the sound of several steak knives slicing across ceramic plates is mind numbing to say the least. Other than that it's a great place to get a nice steak.

Chris and Stacy are good people who will do their best to earn and keep your business. I've done a lot of business there and never been disappointed and they're always looking for a way to minister to the public and help people

I have purchased most of my meat at the local grocery store for many years . I recently purchased meat from Wild Country. I will NEVER buy meat from the grocery store again. The meat is flavorful, tender, fresh, and priced very fair. I finally have hamburger meat that when made into patties ,they stay the same size,no shrinkage,NO rubbery hamburger meat and no waste.I look forward to the Cleveland Oklahoma store opening soon. Be sure and visit the website for up to date pricing and meat package information.

The seats inside the restaurant were not much better than those outdoors, but dustings of crumbs and smears of ketchup stains are at least a little less appalling than animal excrement. I seated myself at the cleanest table I could find. Looking around, I only noticed two other customers. Since it was lunchtime on a Sunday afternoon, this should have been my second warning signal, but I still continued on in my culinary adventure.Fifteen minutes after I sat down, a teenage boy with long, greasy hair finally arrived to take my order. After another 25 minutes passed, my food arrived—including my dessert. I had already begun to expect as much, especially considering the fact that, in the 40 minutes I had been there thus far, the only other customers I had spotted were the original two patrons I saw when I first came. I decided to give the hasty waiter one final chance to redeem himself by asking him about what exactly made the meat market so special. The information on the menu had been sparse at best and provided me with no clues.Overall I found the 'restaurant' crammed and served with sub-par food. later confirmed by high school student outside who cooked the food and seemed more interested in laughing it up rather than quality. This place is over priced and not even worthy of a stop. Keep driving and get a sonic hamburger for a 1/4 of the price.

Recently celebrated birthdays at Wild Country restaurant in Hominy. We tried the Rib-Eye Lunch Special with one side for $12.95 (extra sides are $2.95 and $3.95 The staff and food were top notch; steaks marbled well and grilled to perfection. Sides: loaded baked potato (with REAL bacon crumbles), onion rings, tabbouleh; all were excellent. We were served homemade potato chips with dip as our complimentary appetizer, delicious. Our food was served quickly, exactly as ordered. We were given iced tea (plain or sweet-tea) as a complimentary part of our meal. We were given a small root-beer float as a complimentary dessert. Chips, tea, and a float are complimentary with all meals. The hostess, waitresses, and servers were happy, pleasant, helpful, and very efficient. Because of our birthdays, they also entertained us with much banter, laughter, and a special birthday song.We visited with a group of folks who were leaving as we were entering. They spoke of driving from Independence, KS just to eat the steaks at Wild Country; this was their fourth trip and they had brought friends from MO with them. We had driven on 25 miles to get there. For a fun, interesting, good experience in obtaining an excellent meal, we recomment Wild Country Meats, Inc. Restaurant in Hominy, OK.

We've gotten sides of beef from another processing place and were always dissatisfied but accepted the amount we got, and the quality or lack thereof, because we knew no better.... UNTIL...we picked up our side of beef from Wild Country!! HOLY HECK!!!!! What before, we picked up in 2 trash bags, this was 3 ice chests and a box! Absolutely the best value and best tasting meat EVER!!!! We'll never get meat anywhere else!!! Thank you!!!

Clean but HORRIBLE communication skills. I took my deer to them to be processed and told them I wanted the steaks, jerky , and 2 pounds of the sausage. Person told me no problem we can do that. Next thing I know two weeks past I call they tell me it's ready. I go to get it and I had it at the house unloading it in the freezer. Next thing I know it is ground , ground , ground. Over half my deer meat was ground.I call and talk to manager about my order. He saying "well we can do the shoulder meat into jerky."Why didn't tell me from the start. 😠Now I have very little jerky meat.FEEL LIKE I DESERVE SOME MONEY BACK FOR NOT DONE TO ORDER.

We ordered over 1200 bucks of meat and we are so pleased with it. Taste so good it like melts in your mouth. No wasted meat from cooking down. Even the sausage did not cook down with a lot of greeze

Brought in a katahdin sheep weighing around 70lbs, they told me that the carcass weight was only 16lbs and I only received 11.8lbs back. Feeling very cheated. Very small pieces of meat with a lot of bone, some pieces are more bone than meat. Recommend finding another place to take your animals for slaughter.

Just ate at Wild Country Meats our waitress Danya was the best. Kept us happy and full. I had the sirloin and brought half home. All our steaks were melt in your mouth. Glad we got there early because it was packed when we left.

Well, I am changing my original review...Back in April, I brought 2 pigs in for processing...I told them I wanted mild sausage, since one pig was over a year and a half, so she was made all into sausage...Instructions for the younger one was regular cuts and processing...I was wondering why it only took 3 days for smoking of the ham and bacon....Took one of the hams out of the freezer to make soups with.... There is hair left all over the ham.... I am beyond just "ticked off" at this point...The packaging of the bacon could not have been any sloppier than the way they did it and the bacon has no bacon flavor to it at all.... What a waste...The sausage has to be drowned in soup or gravy to eat it....I am extremely unhappy with the horrible job that was done on my pigs.... What a waste of $400.00 and 2 pigs and it cannot be blamed on the pigs. .. the sows brother was processed at the shop in Dewey and it was so different than the crappy job done by wild country... Never again will I recommend this company and I will discourage anyone I know from ever using this company.Disgruntled would be an understatement!!!!

One of the best places around to get steaks and ribs! Fun atmosphere (where else can you eat in a cattle truck?). Great selection. Great appetizers. Complimentary home made chips and root beer floats! Worth the drive!
