We've honestly NEVER had a Veterinarian that took such excellent care of our various pets at any given time, as we've experienced with Dr. Hartfield. Being in a rural area, she's THE BEST around! She's been better than our Veterinarian in Frisco TX, Flower Mound TX, and Oklahoma City OK! The prices are very reasonable and a lot lower than in the Dallas area or Oklahoma City area! She has written these adorable children's books about different animals that our grandchildren love! If you are looking for a veterinarian this is the place to go!

I have had a hard time finding a vet after the passing of Rory Strickland. He was a great vet. I have been to 4 different vet’s trying to find a new vet.All were good but none could match Rory’s compassion and commitment or his prices. I think I have found that vet, dr Hartfield! She seems to have that same commitment and compassion and is not afraid to step up to a challenge. She is very reasonable with pricing and her staff are great. If you want a country vet who will do what’s Best for your pet, then give her a chance.

Great people! Great service and fair prices! We had a stray dog that had been on my Mom's front porch for weeks. We took in to see if he was chipped. He wasn't so the next day we had him fixed and chipped. He's been a great dog. I am thankful the care that Holdenville Vet is reasonably priced and excellent!

It cost 365 dollars for my cat who was losing a lot of weight and not eating well and all that happened was they drew blood, did a fecal, gave him a rabies shot, and flea medicine. The staff was nice though. But never again.

most of the time they are great and helpful, even if the doctor is always stressed and in a hurry and makes is clear she is zero time for talking about your dog in detail...I can get over that because obviously she IS busy. Then there is neutering my dogs...I have neutered twice at this clinic. Both of the dogs have been through the local pound, one I paid to have neutered, and the other was through HALO and supposed to be free. For the first dog they had no clue what was going on when i dropped him off, thought it was through halo when it wasn't and just seemed generally confused. all went well otherwise. The second time was today...and was terrible. HALO was supposed to cover it, but apparently they only cover dogs 6 months old and under, even though the vet clinic set the appointment for us originally, told us it was at the correct time, and tried to say it was too far out and we had to pay...when saying how old this dog is that was dumped in a box is anyone's guess to be honest. We have only had him for 5 months...and we was tiny tiny when we got him. They are the ones who set it, took our paperwork, told us it was free, and also told us if we didn't keep that appointment we were at risk of having our dog seized from us. WHAT?! So we kept the damn appointment...and they seemed to have no clue when i said it was to be paid for by HALO, then they tried to say it was our fault because we didn't keep our original appointment (NOT TRUE!!!!), and then the vet basically accused us of being rude to her front desk employee when i literally asked to talk to the vet because it was getting awkward for the poor receptionist. The vet also accused us of not informing him of what was happening (uh, why wasn't any of this information in the chart? Why was the halo paperwork they had us turn in at his appointment this spring not included in his file??) Needless to say, for anything other than a well visit, we will be going somewhere else in the future because they don't keep good notes on what is happening and expect the patient to do the doctor's job. I've never been treated so badly by a vet in my life, to be honest. She was so concerned with telling us off that they didn't provide any care instructions for him after surgery. Lucky for the dog, I have experience, but what if I didn't? He would be majorly infected and back at the vet by now.

Okay, so when we first moved to Holdenville I set up an appointment for my Luna, we went and everything was great, then we got Ziggy, Zigs was not doing well with some pretty significant stomach issues so we took her in for a check up, for the next two weeks we tried meds to help her, she kept getting worse, then on a Tues Zigs was in for the day for a barium swallow test, when my husband went to pick her up the vet told him the barium never left her stomach and she would need surgery, the vet openly admitted she was overwhelmed and super busy but would try to get her in for surgery on Thurs or fri, Zigs needed emergency surgery, the vet knew this, my husband brought her home and I was going to call another vet in the morning to see if they could do her surgery. Unfortunately Zigs did not make it through the night. I whole heartedly blame this vet for my Zigs passing away. I would give zero stars if I could

I had 2 make cats neutered and they where so nice when I dropped them off and picked them up. They even called me the next day to check on them! Very affordable! Got us in pretty quicky set the appointment up on Friday and brought them in on Monday!

I have amended my review from 1 to 5 stars. This clinic has been sold, and the new vet AND staff is amazing. We have had TWO (2) small animal emergencies in a single month. They worked us in, (our previous vet REFUSED to even discuss working us in.) They had to do a surgery on one of our dogs, the other (not related to the former) was an extreme sprain, so pain meds.We have found our new vet!!

I was very pleased with thr care that Mrs. Hartfield gave my cat. He broke his leg. Also, the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. There was a little wait time. It was expected because she (vet.) is so popular!!!!

I recommend doctor H to anybody I take my rodeo cattle and bulls to her. Her and her staff are Awsome and if ur shaky like me branding let doctor H do it picture perfect… if u need a good bet around go to Dr H at holdenville

The staff at this clinic is untrained, unsupervised and very unprofessional. The Vet has no clue and doesn't want to. I fear for my pet's well being. I can not recommend them if you value your pet.
