Was getting information there very well informedI will let you know when I get my product backok I forgot to follow up we are happy with most of the meat not so much with the bacon asked for the bacon to be more smoked cured on are 2nd order but it came with less smoked flavor than the 1st but the hams was very good ?

The lady there made me cry. But the good kind of cry. I had been searching all day, from Norman to nearly Edmond for livers. My older dog needs his spleen removed and they are concerned about him bleeding out because he is very anemic. So, I was searching everywhere I could possibly think of. No one in OKC or Norman has them.. Didnt know it was possible to have a liver shortage.. but we got one. I drove from Norman to Harrah to purchase them and she was the nicest person. She didn't charge me.. so I cried in my car all the way home. I'll truly never forget that bit of kindness. After the week I've had.. she had no idea how much I needed it.

After going out for the last 6 years in a row (since 2012) I shot my first deer ever, this year (2018) on the second day of rifle season. A nice spike with a pretty good weight of 158lbs. after gutting. I took the carcass to Nowakowski on a recommendation (which is more than 30 miles away from me.) and when I went to pick it up, I was waiting at the front counter for almost half an hour before someone showed up to help me. I tried calling while standing there and still no response. When I was shown the paperwork with the breakdown of the meat cuts, most of it was illegible, the guy at the counter said that I lost 40lbs of meat due to the gunshot and the intestines being ruptured. I'm no expert but I do know my basic deer anatomy. My shot was far lower than I would have liked and hit high about an inch behind the diaphragm on an oblique angle from the animals front right side and exited at the lowest rib on the left side. I gutted the animal in the field 5 minutes after harvest, I made absolutely sure to not nick any of the lower digestive tract and the only organs hit by my bullet were the stomach and liver, yet they were trying to tell me I lost an amount of meat that would be equal to a complete shoulder or hindquarter. More likely, I lost 40lbs. of meat to some jackass at the backdoor. I will never do business with this company ever again. You would be better off traveling a much greater distance and go to any other meat processor in Oklahoma. Next year I'll try one of the 2 that are 10 minutes down the road from me and hope they know how to treat their customers.

If it wasn’t for the good meat processing I would have gave it 1 star. Dropped of a very large nice buck to be processed and caped. When I picked it up my cape was rotted and still they still haven’t made it right and it’s been 4 months and keep getting the run around. If all your looking for is the meat you should be good. Not good for me though

Never again! Horrible. 5 head of beef. Everyone was short on meat on the return. One was almost 100 pound alone. Richard just plays dumb and says it is what it is. Steaks missing. Cut sheet wasn’t followed. No names or weights on anything. I went into the freezer to see the meat. No names or tags on them so no way to tell if it’s your meat or not. Was pushed off for over a week past when told it would be done because of their shrink wrap machine goin down. I still had to re shrink wrap it when I finally got it home. I talked to josh the owner several times during the entire process nice guy but has no control over them. Go somewhere else and save yourself the hassles. Meat looks it was cut out in the fieldDirty and all packages were bloody. Not professional or clean.

I had a pig butchered and the cuts of meat were good but the reason for a 3 star is because all the hams and bacon we got back none of them were cured or smoked like they were supposed to be if not for that I would have given a 5 star. Think I will be going somewhere else with the next pigs.

Terrible place. Was working out of town when I was told my dear was ready, so I drove 2 hours to pick it up just to be told they called the wrong person when I got there. They don't vacuum seal the ground either, and charge $5 a day storage after they call you. They also skimp on the meat you get back.
