This is the best store ever, it's a small town privately owned hardware store not a big box store. They sell quality products.This isn't a bargain center. If you buy something and get buyers remorse/ have opened the package /don't have a receipt, you aren't likely to be able to return it. The staff is friendly and ready to help upon request. If you are unkind, or unwilling to support local (even if it means not getting bargain store prices this may not be the store or town for you). As for the website not being correct about products or quantity, this isn't a store owned by Ace. Don't use the Ace website to distinguish whether or not they have something. Call or swing by and someone will be happy to help.

I’m a long time customer of this store and up to this point have been relatively happy with the service here. The prices are high and the selection isn’t great but that’s to be expected for a small town store. There was an item I was going to purchase but it was approximately 40% cheaper at Lowe’s. I was told Ace does not price match. After Christmas this item just so happened to come up on sale for the same price if you’re a rewards member, which I am. Great news. Went to pick it up and was told I would have to purchase it online and pick it up for the price to be honored. Seriously? I’m not going to beg to spend money here. I’m not gonna say I’ll never be back but I will definitely look elsewhere first. The convenience to do business here is not worth the hassle.

Always been a good place to shop. Everyone is so helpful even during their remodeling they might have to hunt and find since everything has moved. They will get you what you need

What's behind the small town hardware store?Rude employees who laugh at you, and mock your children.A limited selection and exploitative high prices.Snarky attitudes and comments when you ask for help advice or assistance with items.You might not believe me, but Amazon is faster, cheaper, and more polite. Returns are way easier.

Tried to swap out an item purchased at different westlake.... you would think with a well known brand They would try to take care of there customers.....not at all.....next time I will go to lowes....

Great workers super helpful and.kind kind of high prices but due to location totally makes sense with inflation and location and amount of business reflecting needing to still profit but not bad high prices. Great amount of items you could need from paint to fencing pieces plumbing gardening and tools cleaning supplies etc

Extremely rude individuals 90% of them have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to basic home repairs and their prices are outrageous you can get same items from Lowe's For a whole lot cheaper So if you're looking for a place where the people Are rude and the prices are crazy this is the place for you

First visit. The one thing I needed showed to be in-stock online. Went to store, they didn't have it. Employee just said can't trust website. Didn't offer to order item or anything. So I left and went to Lowes. Everyone tells me they don't like Lowes but why is it they always have what I need at a cheaper price? Customer service isn't great over there but not much better anywhere else either. Hopefully the small town store will be able to stay open when the new Lowe's gets built. I'm all for small town local stores, but when you need something and the bigger store most likely has it, I get to where I ask myself why waste my time going to the smaller store? It would've made all the difference to be offered to order it and get it in quickly. I didn't even need it that day, just preparing for next weekend project.

Customer service is good. But the website will say they have things that they don't. It's happened a multitude of times and it's a waste of fuel and time. I won't be shopping here until they can fix their inventory problems.

A great local hardware store. The staff is friendly and helpful. Had to replace some plumbing, and the guy went through the different sizes and types of fittings. You cam tell they take care of people, and even though it's a little pricier than big box stores, I'd rather get great service from a local owner.

I enjoyed shopping here. I needed some hurricane ties, screws to attach them and 1/2" galvanized bolts and hardware. I used their zinc bolts which are grade 8, I saved about an hour and it offset my cost instead of going to the "big" store. Get an ace rewards card and if you are a vet you might get an extra discount.
