I did the level 1 and 2 classes here for my dog Abner. It was better than I could have hoped. The main thing I wanted to work on was walking on the leash. He was so timid that he would not move with a collar on. Now he walks around perfectly right by my side. I never feel worried he will pull me when we go places. Everyone also complements how well-behaved he is. If I didn't move, I definitely would have do the higher classes.

Stacy is an amazing trainer, full of knowledge.I've been to other trainers with my other dogs and no one has broke it down as simple as Stacy with Basics being taught with 2 words...that's it!I'm looking forward to moving forward with my pooch and am confident I will get a better understanding of training from Stacy!

We cannot recommend Buddy's enough! After four weeks, our three-year-old, stubborn corgi came back to us more confident, relaxed, and in better physical shape than when we dropped him off. Since we started working with her, Stacey has given us so many practical tools to keep "proofing" our dog's training and we will absolutely continue to work with her in advancing our dog's skills. Been going to Buddy’s Dog school for more than a year and we have learned so much from Stacey’s instruction with Echo and now with Charger. She is so good at getting our dogs where they have manners and that is so important for well behaved family members. Motto is mouth to yourself feet on the floor. We are continuing learning with both my boys wanting to put some AKC titles on them.But most of all learning to make them good citizens.I have been in dogs forever when I started going to her school I found a new method of teaching and it is so good. Stacey did an absolutely amazing job with my puppy! She had her for three weeks and laid a great foundation for an amazing dog to come. Stacey was professional, communicative, and so easy to work with. I got frequent updates about the progress she was making and was so receptive to any questions I had, both during training and, especially after I got my pup back. She started by meeting me and my pup in person to discuss the primary concerns and areas of focus I wanted during boarding. We created a plan and a timeframe that worked for both of us. I love the fact that the training/boarding was in her house in a normal “house” setting and not a dog run or large concrete kennel. She only takes in two dogs at a time to be able to give each the proper focus and attention. After it was finished she spent well over two hours with me going over all of the commands, rules, tips and recommendations that she had put in place. We started at a public area to challenge the dog and help train me as much as the pup on how to correct and act in that setting. Next we did a complete home manners overview for all of the basic things in/around the house. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Stacy again or recommend her. It is a service and a skill that is well worth the money.

We signed up for (and recently completed) level 1 private classes to work on our dog's manners, anxious behaviors, and developing aggressive tendencies. Stacey is very knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. In just a few sessions, she equipped us with the skills needed to not only begin training our 3 year old dog that was enrolled in the program but also our 7 year old dog at home, with noticeable results appearing almost immediately. She is very responsive and encourages reaching out to her with questions/concerns. If you are looking for effective strategies to train your dog(s) and are committed to putting in the necessary time and effort, definitely give Buddy's Dog School a try!

Stacey is excellent at not only training dogs, but helping dog parents become more effective and comfortable in working with their pets. We rescued an older, very dog reactive terrier and we weren't sure she would be trainable but Stacey accomplished so much more than we thought possible. And she did so in a relatively short period of time. Very pleased with Buddy's Dog School and looking forward to continue working with and having Buddy's as a great resource.

Stacey is absolutely amazing! I had two dogs trained with her and she gives you the tools for any situation. The first training class I had with my second dachshund, Bonnie, we walked in during the end of another session with a HUGE dog. He was barking and lunging toward Bonnie. Stacey took his leash and made two rounds with him. After that he was sitting and not lunging anymore. I know there are other trainers around, but she is legit and truly cares for the animals and owners. Even with their nutritional needs, etc.

She does a great job of not mindlessly training the dog to do tricks, but actually teaching you how to train them without having to lure with treats! Builds a foundation from the ground up to have a well-behaved dog who actually listens and respects you. Finished up level 1 and can’t wait to dive into Level 2. Worth every penny.

Stacey is a committed, talented trainer whose abilities with canines and their owners are stellar. Her firm, yet patient, techniques are very effective, even with the most stubborn breeds. Having worked with Stacey in my home and at her training facility has been extremely helpful in teaching my Australian Shepherd how to be less reactive to outside stimuli, and more responsive to me. I’ve also utilized her boarding services numerous times and trust her completely with our dog. You cannot go wrong with Buddy’s.

We enrolled our headstrong Rottweiler, Kaia, in Buddy’s Dog School because of obedience issues at home. With Stacey’s guidance, Kaia has learned that humans are the pack leader. In just 3 lessons, she has learned how to walk on a leash properly, will enter her crate when told, waits for permission to leave her crate and allows her humans to exit a building before she is invited outside. We are so impressed with the training she has received, as well as our own, that we are continuing with the next level of training. We would recommend Buddy’s dog school to anyone with a problem pet or that just want their dog to be more obedient.

In four private lessons he’s a completely different dog. He’s happier and we are happier. She gives very detailed thorough instructions. She always helps with problems exclusive to your dog. Stacey is amazing to work with! She goes at your pace and concentrates on teaching both you and your dog so you can continue to be successful after training is finished. My rescued Doberman had become more reactive around other dogs when on a leash and after 6 lessons he has improved so much. After working with Stacey, he was calmly heeling circles around other dogs and performing basic commands while other dogs were walking around him. Highly recommend!

We love this place! The owner really helped us as parents learn how to talk to our dog. He is a great boy but just needed to relearn some things. He learned very quickly w her guidance. We will be back for level two and boarding go as well. Highly recommend. Easy to get scheduled and she will explain everything to you in advance. Good pricing too

First off, Stacey is amazing with dogs! Emmy, our 1 1/2 ish yr old dachshund that we took on from a friend about 4 months ago, is the sweetest little dog but was unruly with no manners. Couldn’t get her listen, walk on a leash, potty outside, not barge through door, or stop whining.......constantly whining. Whining in her kennel, not in her kennel, even outside. Just constantly whining. I already loved her but my husband was almost to his limits! And me too I just didn’t want to admit it. We did the two week board and train. OMG! Emmy is a completely different dog! You wouldn’t believe it! We have only had her back a few days and are amazed with Emmy. She learned so much about how to be a good dog! And I learned a lot too! We are excited to keep up Emmy’s progress and build on it. Definitely worth every penny!

Stacey has been fantastic! We hired her to help train our dog to be a therapy dog and she has been SO helpful with that. She makes sure to answer all questions we have and work through problems, even if that means class takes a bit longer. Stacey is an amazing trainer that has helped me with my German Shepherd, Wendy. I adopted Wendy at 2 years old and she is a sweet however reactive dog that wasn't trained properly. Stacey has been able to provide me patience and flexibility with our training even though I admit that I can become a little stressed out with doing everything right for my dog. I get worried for what people might think of her, she’s a really good dog, I love her, my family love her, my friends love her and she loves them back, but outside when on the leash she needs to get way better. However, after just 1 private lesson, I was able to gain immediate results with her behavioral change and had gained a new sense of confidence with training and taking care of Wendy. Thank you so much Stacey! I'd like to say its been wonderful so far as I have decided to continue with private lessons.
