We discovered this unique treasure while traveling from central Oklahoma to Arkansas. We were celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary and Valentine's Day. We found the food to be absolutely delicious, the atmosphere visually exquisite and the service fantastic.We will definitely share this jewel of a restaurant with our friends and will make it a restaurant to visit during future travels!

My meal was delicious!! I ordered the philly cheesesteak and bread pudding, it was fresh, piping hot and oh soo yummy... The staff was quick and courteous I would highly recommend giving them a try if you are in town! I would describe the decor as Rustic Victorian Style

Wonderful place to eat!The servers were great, kind and made short work of the full restaurant.Beautiful quiche hand made bread, perfect Ham and Swiss. I only wish they served their amazing hand made bread with butter not margarine.

I placed a to go order and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes I asked about it and learned that it had been ready and sitting for quite some time. When I reached my destination, I found that the pies I had ordered were not there. The food I did get was okay. It would have probably been better if it was still warm.

I absolutely LOVED this place! The cafe is wonderful! Everything is home made and tastes amazing! The decor is so homey and makes you feel comfortable. The cafe is connected to a huge antique shop! I bought some gorgeous green Pyrex bowls for a very decent price.My family visits Gore once a year every year. I can't believe I've never been to this place.I can't wait to go back!!!!

This is a jewel of a find in a small town. The ramps and entry outside are a bit awkward for the elderly or others less mobile. But once inside, the experience is surprisingly nice. Engaging friendliness, timely service for delicious food options, and a cute small shopping area (I have not browsed the little shop). The overall experience makes an extra drive worth it. I met a small group of people who meet at the location about once a month for its central location to a few somewhat distant towns (Tahlequah, Ft. Smith, Sallisaw, and Muskogee). Take the drive, then give yourself 45 minutes or so to enjoy the pleasantness.

The Food is great here. On Saturdays Emily's Rea Room serves a delicious Pot Roast. The Family is originally from England and came to the U.S. during the Great War. A Bonus is the large Shopping Area located inside the same Building with a MIX of old and New products. The Restaurant is located in Gore, OK very close to Lake Tenkiller and is a delicious warm Hug of a Restaurant if you are Vacationing and is very popular with the Locals also. Did I mention the Homemade Breads and Desserts? Yes please!

Food was mediocre at best. I had a pot of earl grey that did not taste like earl grey should (bergamot and strong black tea). It steeped for plenty of time but tasted weak despite having dark color. I think the tea may have been old, im not sure. I was unimpressed. I did see a lot of people with small children there, so this may be a good place for that. Due to the amount of children, however, the restaurant could be rather loud

First off, the food here is amazing. Emily's Tea Room isn't always open like most restaurants, they're open for lunch only and that makes visiting here much tougher for us. So if I'm in the area, hungry, and free to visit, I usually will. All that being said, my last two visits have left me less than satisfied. The special this last time was Salisbury steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. I ordered two of them to go, paid, and then walked around the shopping area while waiting for my food. Lori bought a pair of socks from the shop and we grabbed our food and headed home. On our way home, Lori opened her to-go box and found her order was wrong. She checked mine to find the same problem. Salisbury steak, a huge salad without the ordered dressing, and CORN! A mountain of corn in both of our boxes. No potatoes, no green beans, no salad dressing. I called to investigate what had happened with our orders. They ran out of green beans and potatoes. They didnt tell us at all! They did not offer us any options or a refund. They simply substituted our order with what was on hand and charged us like we got what we ordered. This isn't acceptable to do. If I go somewhere and order anything, anywhere, I get what I pay for. It is never okay to make a substitution without asking the customer first. Emily's Tea Room dropped the ball on this one and I'm still amazed at first their presumptuousnous and second their audacity. BOOO

My wife and I ate here and it was fantastic. The only down side is the portion size wasn’t too great. I had the Reuben sandwich and it came with chips. My wife had a chicken salad. Like I said really good. And to their defense it was lunch. Definitely would return. We had coffee right after and it was great as well.

Good food, kind of small portions for the price. The Reuben Sandwich is always a great choice! They have made it a bit more modern and less cozy than I remember. They have painted the walls gray and opened/ expanded the dinner area. (They put in a delicious coffee shop... You can pay for your meal and coffee TOGETHER.) Staff was very friendly and took good care of us. We will be back!

Go any day that they have the pot roast as their special. It will remind you of Sunday dinner at your grandma”s. After eating the pot roast, my uncle asked if the cook was married. When they answered that she was, he asked if it was a happy marriage.it was that good!. He would been a homewrecker if that is what it took.

I will definitely go back. I ordered the quiche, salad with blue cheese dressing and a homemade roll. Everything was fresh and delicious! The bread pudding was probably the best I've ever had. I'm only sorry I didn't I try this place sooner!

The food is great! There are a wide variety of choices. Everything is delicious and made fresh. There are sandwiches, pastas, soups, and roast beef- lighter fare or stick to the ribs items. The service is top notch and very friendly. I highly recommended Emily’s tearoom.

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town and went here with a couple of friends, worst meal I've had on this trip. I had some chicken casserole that the waitress described as Mexican chicken, not only was it dry as a powder house, it had NO flavor at all, I even tried doctoring it up with sour cream and taco sauce but it didn't help, so I just eat my salad. One of my friends had quiche he said it was the worst he had ever had and it was bland and had no flavor, my boyfriend had a hamburger patty that he couldn't eat. Lesson learned never go back there. Although I'm sure they have something that is good, it just wasn't anything that we ordered. The food remained me of nursing home food, no flavor.
