I adopted my current dog from Luvin Pawz. She is healthy and properly socialized and has adapted well over the year I’ve had her.

my animals were illegal seized and the court ordered the adoption Oklahoma law says it's illegal there was no case for the dogs cats or pig plus my case was dismissed no animals were to be adopted till case was finalized. Animals must be returned to owner period . I at no time authorized any of this so either animals come back or lawsuit and stolen animal reports will be filed. The adoptions were illegal so my animals must be returned

I adopted my sweet three month old girl on 9/9/23. I had nearly given up after feeling like so many rescue groups I'd come across were scams, not trustworthy, were unresponsive, etc. Luckily, a pup from Luvin' Pawz popped up on a rescue site I was in. I did some research and submitted an application. I appreciated their application being thorough and asking crucial questions for an adopted dog to succeed in a new home.About a week passed after submitting my application. I had applied for a particular pup, but was informed she was adopted in state, which I understood. I was working with Karen at this time, and she said if I wanted to feel free to look at the other pups (I hadn't prior, as this pup popped up in a Facebook rescue group). I did, and immediately saw my girl! I called Karen to get some more information and knowing it was a puppy wanted to give it some serious thought. They graciously let me have a few days to think and I was not pressured in any way, which I really appreciated. I actually reached out first to let Karen know she was my girl! The process (post application and agreeing to a particular dog) was extremely professional, stress free, well coordinated and a breeze. I am not in the general area where transports go, but they were more than gracious to find a meeting point along their route that was under two hours from me. I received a call from Linda prior and she provided more details, information on my particular pup and anytime I needed to get ahold of Linda or Karen no matter how big or small the question they were extremely responsive. If your pup is on the transport van you even get updates and videos, which I loved and appreciate Linda going out of her way to do when she is already doing so much.We have had our first vet visit and as I expected, a clean bill of health! Millie (previous known as "America") is thriving, we've bonded so much, has an amazing temperament and look forward to starting our puppy classes soon though she is already learning SO quick.I cannot tell you how many people have asked where I got my puppy from strangers, to family friends, neighbors, etc. They're shocked I was able to rescue such an amazing girl and many have written the name of the rescue to look for their own pup when ready.I apologize for the length of this review, but I find detail extremely helpful, especially when you're doing something as big of a commitment as adopting a dog. I want to thank Linda and Karen for their hard work, being there for whatever Millie and I could need and finding these animals their forever homes. I cannot wait to continue to watch Millie thrive.*I have had rescues before so this is NOT my first experience for reference regarding my review.

We have adopted and fostered for this rescue and are very happy with our dogs. We've also had other family members adopt from Luvin Paws . All of our pups are healthy and socialized. The owner is very knowledgeable and goes to great lengths to make sure everything goes well. I will definitely adopt from this rescue again.

I have worked with & fostered for Linda for several years now & she has always been all about the animals. She insures they are all bathed, vaccinated, spayed/neutered & any other health issues are taken care of. I have watched this woman cry because of the severity of a dogs condition. I have watched her set up ALL night with a sick dog & is always right there with an animal. If the injury or illness is so severe that nothing can be done, she ensures that the baby knows it's loved & cared for in its final days or hours. She does all she can to help someone keep their animals. I have watched this woman provide food, treats & cat litter monthly, even bought dog houses, beds cat towers even gave them toys so someone could keep their pets. She has even bought the materials & hired a crew to put up a new fence so someone didn't have to surrender their dogs & so another dog didn't have to spend its life on a chain. She works with law enforcement from different areas to shut down a puppy mill & different hoarding situations.I highly recommend

I went a month ago on January 13th to enfield Connecticut to foster a really great dog Willow. We fell in love with each other that my parents and I adopted her . Luvin paws -Rescue inc was so very cooperative with helping me with the process. They were very friendly and I highly recommend getting animals from them.

I adopted my chocolate lab in February of this year, 2023. He is such a happy healthy little guy. I took him to my vet soon after because I have a great vet who I have used for many years. He got a great bill of health. When I had questions, Linda, the owner was right there with advice and support, I really saw how much she loves them. When I wasn’t sure about another dog, she went out of her way to even send videos and again offer more support. Two weeks later, my neighbor and good friend also adopted a golden puppy who is great with their two boys. I am getting my second puppy from Luvin Paws tomorrow morning to give my lab a buddy. I would absolutely recommend this rescue to anyone looking for a furever friend.

I have a foster puppy from Linda that is about 10 weeks old. Working on potty training doing really good also crate trained. Brooke is healthy and happy playing with my dogs and cats has been around kids also. There are no health issues with her. I have fostered before for Linda with no problems and will foster again if needed. I trust Linda with any animal even mine. She runs a clean business and is certified with the state and has passed every inspection. Linda has a very clean property even has heat and ac in the buildings on her property for the dogs that she has. Thank you for your help to save dogs. I have been to Linda's property it's very clean and taken care of.

I adopted my little love Ruby back in February. We had an exceptional experience with Linda, Karen and all of the rescue. I have recommended multiple friends to this rescue who have received excellent, healthy animals. I think it’s sad that two reviewers are using one animal who had a missed condition be the example for this organization- it is not. Linda cares for these animals tremendously. She FaceTimed me multiple times during the adoption process to check on our girl. She is a loving and kind animal rescuer.

As a volunteer with Luvin Pawz Rescue, I can say with certainty that every puppy and dog that comes into rescue is given appropriate shelter, nutrition, and healthcare.Rescue pups cannot transport until the vet signs off on their health care. To suggest otherwise is misleading and insulting to the vets in OK that care for the dogs. They arrive in New England completely up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. They are spayed/neutered and chipped. All medical documentation and food is given to adopters/fosters at pick up.Every effort is made to address any foster or adopter concern before and after arrival and any dog thought not to be cared for properly is taken back per the contract and signed off on by every adopter.Rescue dogs are not AKC registered - what information we know about them is willingly shared. We support and live by #AdoptDontShop.Luvin Pawz is a legal non-profit animal welfare organization and a registered transport with the US Dept of Ag.Any questions can be directed to the LPR. We respond to all legitimate inquiries.

I adopted a dog named "Charlie" on 8/31/23. When I picked her up from her foster mom, she said "She's been licking her paw and under her arms and they are hot spots most likely from stress of transport." Not the case, my friends. The next day, Charlie, now called Mitzi, started coughing. My fear was Kennel Cough due to the sound and frequency.I took her to the vet 1.5 days after adopting her and discovered she did indeed have kennel cough but far worse than hot spots. She has Foxtails embedded under her skin, which require surgery to remove. While at the vet, I called Linda Taylor Buckaloo, the owner for financial help and her response was to hold a fundraiser but it was my responsibility. My veternarian heard the entire conversation. The cost of surgery to remove was $3000. ( If anyone wants paperwork to back this up, happy to supply) and treatment of xrays, cultures, medications and office visit was $1231. Adoption fee was $500. So, 1.5 days in, my cost is $1731 for a sweet dog that should have been treated before adopting. When I returned Mitzi she was on the medications I purchased for her kennel cough. As I am semi retired, I can't shoulder these costs. I made the heartbreaking decision to return her to Luvin Pawz. Upon returning her to a volunteer, I asked for a letter of financial responsibility relinquishment so I am no longer responsible. She could not sign the one I had drafted. In the four days since, I have repeatedly asked Linda Taylor Buckaloo for this release and I am ignored. This is an irresponsible rescue organization. Perhaps their initial intention was good, but now they are "flippers" of dogs from the south, supposedly "vet cleared for transport" but poor Mitzi went from clear to transport to "Dire Need" in 3 days-the exact words on a fundraiser posted on their FB page. How does this happen with a competent veterinary work up?dog been returned with the same health issues and poor client services related to lack of communication absolving me from any responsibility for Mitzi.Sadly, it’s the dogs that suffer her, as well as the heartbroken, good hearted adopters. Stay away from them.

I have been in rescue for 25 years and founded my own 15 years ago… just because you are a registered 501c3 doesn’t mean you are a good rescue or even a rescue as so many puppy sellers/mills like yourself pose as. Just because I have a driver’s license doesn’t mean I am a good driver!Let’s be honest, they don’t do checks on people they give 501c3 status to or issue business licenses to, unless there are complaints and then it can take months and years of investigation… which I am sure you are under.Good rescues don’t remove truthful comments that point out their deceitfulness IF they have nothing to hide in order to keep a 5 star rating on Facebook. Good rescues stand behind their dogs and their adopters… at least in this case you let both suffer with the dog suffering mercifully.I find it very surprising that your vet would miss a health condition that is a common occurrence in not only your area but any rural area. You did NOT support the adopter as your planted reviews state. Instead you were deceitful to your followers by putting up a donation drive that benefited your organization and certainly not the adopter or the dog as you stated in the description of the donation drive. And when you were “approached” with that in a comment, you not only deleted the comment but removed the page??? All we asked was that you be honest that it was not benefiting the adopter, that the money was in fact going to your rescue. That is taking donations under false pretenses… that WILL get you investigated. There has also been no proof that the money went towards the dogs care or will go towards the dogs care since she is being advertised as adoptable with a known medical condition… again, that is taking donations under false pretenses.Your rescue, by all appearances, only takes highly desirable breeds and puppies (likely from puppy mills) and “adopts” them outside of your rescue area likely because it is known to everyone in your surrounding area that you are a glorified puppy mill/pet store at best. Your Facebook posts speak volumes to that when you are tagged solely in posts for litters of puppies and you go into shelters and pull only puppies and highly desirable breeds… what about the dogs that aren’t as desirable. How do you sleep at night walking past those faces and taking only those you know will make your money??? Probably in a bed of that money you take from fake donation drives and from selling dogs.Your “rescue” is a farce… you know it and hopefully others will know it soon as well and revoke your licenses.
