Pretty place to camp although the bathrooms need some updating and we couldn't get any hot water in the showers. Cave tour is only half the length of the cavers due to a bolder that slide into the cave several years ago. We had a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, Jennifer. It's just time to get a few updates!

We camped here for 3 nights. Camp is clean and quiet. Restrooms are modern, stocked, and clean. Really loved the cave tour. I think it’s a bit underrated. Lots of unique passages and formations, it’s an excellent tour cave. Enjoyed hiking and watching the stars in the dark night sky.Picnic area: Lots of shaded tables near the cave for a picnic lunch.

Such a cool stop! Sadly the original entrance to the cave is inaccessible currently but still really cool to see the rest of the cave. Tons of cute little families of bats! We camped at the campgrounds overnight and the camping spot and facilities were nice.

Awesome attraction less than 3 hour drive from OKC. Great for zoning out in nature and meeting Mr Alabaster Man (see photo).

Very interesting, unique cave. Says there's a lot of steps but it was several steps then flat for a while then a few more steps. Not straight up or down a bunch 9f steps. I think she said we went down 15-20 feet over whole tour.

Drove 2 hours just to be told hours before they close that the caverns are completely booked even though the website says no reservations needed. The lady at the front desk was completely unprofessional and after telling her how far we drove she just said “Sorry but I don’t really care” and when asked if there is anything else to do she told us about other caves that we could see but then immediately threatened us with 500 Dollar fines if we get even close to the entrances. Why even suggest them as points of interests? I will not go back to this place till there is a complete overhaul of the staff and how this park is operated. DONT WASTE YOUR GAS AND TIME TILL THEY DO.

They leave on the hour for tours up til 4pm. Nice tent camping grassy area. RVs have shade. The staff is kind and like sharing. The old entrance is being used to the cavern. There are stairs, low areas for tall ppl. They said January is the best time to see the bats. Wear a rain coat and shoes that can get dirty.Restrooms: Clean and easy accessPicnic area: Shaded areas beautiful viewed

Neat park and campground to visit if you're passing through the area. There is a tram which runs through the park, I didn't take that due to time available. I did do a self-tour to the Water Cave which was fairly underwhelming. Beautiful scenery in fall.

We rode here for our Run for the Son mission ride on May 6th. The cave did have a collapse so you enter and leave through the exit of the cave now, but overall it is still a very good and lengthy tour. There were no bats due to to many children trips so they migrated to a more quieter place for now. But it was still just as nest and beautiful down in the cavern. Only $10 for an adult and great Rocks and gifts in the store.Restrooms: There are public restrooms right near the entrance of the park station where you check in for the tour and showers as well.Picnic area: There are covered picnic tables also to sit at.

Cave and guide were great but the tent camping area left much to be desired. It would be great if the website mentioned that the bathrooms near the tent camping area are completely closed and have been for some time. T15 doesn't really have a flat area for a tent except right against the concrete picnic table as well as a few other sites.

We really enjoy this place. Part of the cave you tour had a cave in of sorts so you don't get to go through the whole cave but it is still interesting. Our tour guide was very nice. The exploring we do to other caves is always fun and oh such a workout so put your food shoes on.Restrooms: Restrooms are your typical state park restrooms.Picnic area: There is an area to have lunch and a RV area.

Alabaster caverns is one of my favorite places to visit. I used to live in the area and went frequently. I try to visit every summer now. The cavern is always fun to tour and I feel like I notice something different every time I go. I also like to walk the trails. If you’re coming to this area it’s great to visit Alabaster Caverns, Salt Plains, Boiling Springs, and Gloss Mountains which are all fairly close.

Absolutely RUDE customer service at the park. Drove 2 hours to be turned away and the lady at the office was absolutely disgusting with her attitude. Website indicates reservations are not required for groups under 40 people. A whole 4 of us in our group were turned away and was told “I’m not going to constantly up date the website”.

This place is awesome! There are several Cavern tours a day. It takes about 45 minutes to do the tour. We learned so much from our tour guide. There's RV camping, and tent camping. Our tour guide told us there's a cave entrance your also allowed to camp at with reservations, so that might be a fun thing to look into. Theres hiking trails as well. I'm not sure about dog friendliness, as we left our dogs at home this time. I was glad we did, some of the trails were narrow with big drop downs. There's a small museum and gift shop there with rocks, T-shirts, snacks and drinks.Playground: There's a small playground with swings, and a big toy. There's more swings at one of the tent camping sites as well.Restrooms: There are real rest rooms.Dog-friendliness: We left our dogs at home so we could do the Cavern tour, so I'm not sure about dog friendliness. Keep in mind that some of the trails are very narrow, next to ledges. Our dogs are well over 100 pounds, and some of those trails wouldn't have been ideal for them.Picnic area: There are covered picnic areas.

Wonderful place to visit and camp! We parked our RV at their site for a few days and explored the area as well as taking the cavern tour and seeing sleeping bats. There are many trails and 6 other caves on site. In the summer you can go Wild Caving in the other caves but since it was winter and the bats are sleeping it was best to only hike to see the cave opening and not venture further. There are at least two springs feeding the little river through there and both are wonderful sites to hike to especially the one in the hidden nook.

First and Foremost, I would like to applaud all of the Alabaster Caverns State Park staff, volunteers and donors alike as my family and I would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for the cleanliness of the entire park especially the restrooms "wow" A+, Thank you all so very very much for making us feel so special instead of treating us like we were just another couple or family here to tour the boring old cave, you instead whimsically made us fell wanted, like our short time there was not only welcomed but instead desired and appreciated. (it seems that most touring places have become overly bored or as if the tourists were annoying them) We had quite a few laughs along the way with the social humor and friendly attitudes you had while answering tourist questions all the while teaching us so much about the different cave types, and the various types of the most unique and rare forms of the salinite crystal was equally expressed towards and kid safe during our guided cave tour all made our trip worth while, the knowledge gained during the history lessons of the caves, how and when the were discovered and what they are used for today "extremely interesting and knowledgeable history and facts to be learned (pay attention) only if those whom arent sure and know that they have an interest in cave touring.QUICK SHOUT OUT:The staff, park rangers, park volunteers, and donars all deserve the utmost respect and appreciation for all the hard work, reliability, and support they gift us with.*********************************-THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH-*********************************When it comes down to a caving style, I would like to -simply put - call this"to each their own" style.Inevitably, you are at a great place which offers you many great opportunities to capture and create something memorable in your today's tour of this natural made cave system be sure to pay attention and compliment or add your own personal/professional reviews of Alabaster Caverns State Park. Unknowingly, this place adds its very own special spot into your ever growing book of life experiences.Personally I enjoy going to this spot and I would go again and again and again just because I personally enjoy escaping my day life, as I love to investigate and explore I have found numours prizes in, around, and along the area free caving and wondering my way around just exploring have been known to not only find Salinite but also find fossiles, arrow heads and so much more along the way as most of the area is known, the fact is, is that this entire area has been lightly used and under-explored*also note - in the more recent years a lot more land and caves have been donated to the area and it is now becoming quite a large park.It is a great place to create photographical memories.Enjoy your tour, your stay and your day.Playground: Not to much of a playground because the entire park becomes the playground, honestly I believe adding more people friendly attributes would be a plusRestrooms: Clean, stocked and open.Dog-friendliness: They are absolutely Dog-friendlyPicnic area: Clean, well kept and maintained I would personally love to picnic here sometime. Only to create yet another beautiful memory.

We stayed 2 nights in our RV here. Only 1 other camper here with us. Sites are water and electric, there is a dump station. There is a building with restrooms and 4 showers. Not the cleanest but it does the job. Kids loved the playground and exploring. We took the tour of the cavern, was pretty cool to see. We all loved it and we got to see salamanders, bats, and animal tracks inside. Kids loved inside the office where there was a little room to explore and touch animal bones. We hiked the trails with the kids and had an awesome time. Views were beautiful.

Awesome guide! Unfortunately, the main cave is not fully accessible, but you will still spend about 1 hour to explore it. To get into the wild caves, you will need some things like helmets, clothes, flashlights, a first aid kit and water, be sure to email the administration or call them to clarify how many things you need and be careful, you can buy permits for wild caves only at 1 pm. There are also incredibly cozy places for grilling.

A great experience! All the park rangers who work here were friendly and knowledgeable. What a cool cave to walk through. Our group had two younger kids (4 and 6) and it was an easy hike for them, I didn't even hear an "are we almost done?" It kept them entertained and it was educational. The bats happened to be active when we visited so we got to see them flying around, as well a few frogs and salamanders. If you are in the area, or looking for something to do, this is definitely worth the trip!

Nice park, we went thru the cave with a tour guide. It was full of gypsum, some salamanders, few frogs and bats. It was neat to see! We played at the playground and walked around while we waited for the tour to start. There is camping sites there, and more caves to explore so I'll be back. We loved the gift shop too. Cool things in there.

We were looking forward to our cave tour but was a little disappointed that it was cut short due to fallen rocks near the entrance. We entered the cave from the exit and walked about 3/4 way before turning back. The tour guides were informative though you can sense a little lack in enthusiasm (which could be due to doing multiple tours in a day).It was a good experience for all in general and the cool interior of the cave provided some relief from the summer heat. We are glad that Oklahoma has gems like that and hope that the State Park authority continues to keep natural features like these alive. If you plan to spend a few days, there are sites for tent camping and RVs.

Fantastic place to visit and camp! The big cave is a great place to start. If you want adventure, wild caving is excellent, CV there are several different ones to try. Follow guidelines for equipment if wild caving. Hiking trails around as well. Restrooms and showers were good. Worth a visit!
