We adopted a husky from H3 in 2021. Jenni and her crew where so helpful and we got to visit the rescue and pick our girl Sky (Lily). Great experience and they are doing such great work with a breed that I love. People think Huskies are cute and don’t have any clue as to how much time and effort they need so a lot of huskies end up in shelters or abandoned. I love the work H3 does for these dog-os!!!

Had a great experience with Husky Halfway House. I was contacted within 2 days of putting an application in. Britney and Jenni asked all the right questions and communicated with me back and forth about which dogs they thought would be great for our family and pack. Within a few weeks Missy was able to join our family. She was transported from Oklahoma to Virginia. They are a great rescue and would recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a husky. We will definitely be looking to them when the time comes to adopt again. They go above and beyond to help these huskies.

Without the amazing team at H3, my husband and I would never have had the chance to have adopted an amazing new furbaby. 💜 Silver senior Doodle has already wormed his weird little butt into our hearts and I couldn’t imagine our lives without him.(Even though he’s barely been with us two months so far.)I know that if we go to look for another one in the future, we will definitely be back to H3. You take the time to give first time husky parents a chance and matched us with probably the best pup out there for our family.And he’s obviously an amazing pup as he converted my best friend to loving dogs. 💜

I adopted Romeo and Pandora in June and I could not have gotten 2 more perfect dogs. I was told they were from the same puppy mill and they'd never been in a home. I was amazed how quickly they adjusted to being in a home! They are so well behaved and loveable. H3 was wonderful to work thru the adoption process and they do such an amazing job saving as many as they can. Thank you so much for everything. My senior girl Lainka now has a couple buddies to keep her company.

H3 is hands down the most committed rescue I have ever seen. The passion and commitment to the huskies they rescue and care for is insurmountable. I was blessed with my second husky, Moxxi (pictured) from H3 and have been part to the family since. Not all heroes wear husky glitter, but H3 sure does!

Jenni and her team are the most supportive and dedicated individuals I have ever come to know. Thanks to H3 and their love and compassion for huskies, Jenni was not only able to help rehabilitate my senior husky while in her care, she was able to find him a new home where he thrives in an environment I could not provide. I feel forever in debt to H3 for what they did for me and my family. The level of care they give to all their dogs is phenomenal and cannot be found anywhere else. Jenni and her team are angels on earth and I am forever grateful for the work they do that allowed my husky (and all the others) to have a second chance at home.

We loved the first pup we adopted from Husky Halfway House so much that we got another a year later! H3 rescued our fur kids from kill shelters in TX and CA and drove them from OK all the way to us in Maine! Although they have many dogs, you'll be amazed at how well they know, love, and care for them all. To know H3 is to love H3; they are the real deal and angels on earth. We can't wait to adopt from them again! ♥️🐾

I had been following their FB page for a while hoping to find a red female husky with blue eyes.Daily the head of the rescue would post animals, and advise on how to understand this particular breed. I’ve learned so much because huskies are not your average dog. Many people adopt them because they’re very pretty only to find out that their personalities can be difficult to deal with. This leads many huskies to be abandoned in city pounds and killed at a very young age.Eventually she posted a red husky that was malnourished and sick with Parvo from a Lubbock shelter. The minute I saw her picture I knew this dog had a home with me.Husky Halfway House required an application for adoption. I then interviewed with them. After some time, they reached out to me that my application had been chosen. I had to wait for the dog to go through recovery from the Parvo and then recovery from being spayed. Once she was cleared the adoption took place. I live 8 hours from the rescue so they arranged to meet with me halfway. The transition for my dog went smoothly mostly because I was prepared by the rescue on how to handle her.Anytime I had questions I could directly text the head of the rescue and she would always answer my questions. Her unyielding support for these dogs is amazing. She even visits the dogs if she happens to be on your side of town!We named our husky Navi. She eats well, her coat shines, she gets plenty of exercise and plays with my children. She is the sweetest dog I’ve ever cared for in my entire life.We love Navi dearly and couldn’t imagine being without her.Thank you Husky Halfway House!!!

I got my Lucy (wooly husky) back in May from Husky Halfway House. I lost my previous husky (Siberian) in December from cancer and thought it was time to get another. Lucy is about 2 years old and gets along great with my kids, cats, and dogs. She’s spunky and loving. I will definitely get another husky from Husky Halfway House in the future.

I have not yet adopted a h3 husky but I will as soon as I can! What I can tell you about this rescue and (I would love to note that I manage a very successful pet resort with over 50 locations in the country), this rescue is run with the most important tools which are care, compassion, grit, and love. What may look like chaos to you is another day in the pet care industry, shake the situation up more to make it a all husky pet care facility. I could not think of better people to be running this place. If you are concerned I assure you there is help needed always. Feel free to roll up your sleeves and pitch in. I tell everyone I know about this place, I tell them the story of how it began and everything that was and is sacrificed to make it work. While all the keyboard warriors have dinner with their families and kids these people are caring for the forgotten pets that humans saw as disposable. Please understand pet care takes a toll and rescue well it breaks most, it was my main reason for leaving pet care as a whole only to make my way back to it. However the leader of this facility is unbreakable, and devastatingly honest about everything she faces. I recommend everyone try to be more like her in life and less like those concerned about something they could not grasp even if they tried.

I am an animal advocate, volunteer, foster, and parent. Jenni's organization is one that I support regularly. The Husky breed is a unique dog and often ends up in shelters. H3 makes it their mission to rescue and rehome Huskies. I support Jenni and her crew. I think their heart and energy is 100%. I have 2 Huskies and a Shepsky which I adore. I love Huskies!

We have rescued several dogs and all dogs have been very well treated. With most at shelter being traumatized. Husky halfway house has there dogs in a pack setting natural to Huskies. God Bless you and thank you from all our fury friends

H3 is an amazing husky rescue. And even though the pup we adopted from them is only part husky, Jenni and Britney still saved him and got him the surgery he needed. Then they gave him the best care possible until he joined our family this summer. They are everything a rescue should be and more!

I adopted my boy Ranger from H3. He is the best! The rescue they run is amazing! They have lots of dogs and it’s amazing to see in person. The dogs all play and interact with each other. It’s like a husky daycare. Lots of love and attention daily. This is Ranger after playing in the mud!

I have not adopted from Husky Halfway House But from what I've learned from fallowing them is. They are awesome at what they do. They care what happens to the huskies that are abandoned, left in a shelter and they rescue many that are going to be euthanized. My boy didn't come from husky Halfway House but when something should happen to him. I will be contacting them to see if I can rescue one. I love all animals. My goal was always to open at rescue but life chose a different path for me. I would recommend Husky Halfway House to anyone and have done so. Keep up the excellent work you do for the huskies in finding them a loving forever home ❤️🐾🐺I added a photo of my boy. He came from Ohio.

I have been following the H3 mission for a couple of years. I didn’t find them until after I had my Husky so I haven’t adopted from them. BUT the information and resources that Jenni provides to any and all Husky families is priceless. She goes above and beyond to help not just the Huskies in her care but also any Husky that needs help. She is well networked and submersed in rescue. She doesn’t limit her help to one area or state, she also doesn’t limit adoptions to one area or state. She is also head deep in Huskies because she lives with them! H3 Huskies primarily live in packs which gives Jenni tremendous insight into each one’s personality, enabling her to match them to their forever families. This pack living helps the Huskies live their best life and live as they were meant to live—in packs. She wants what’s best for the Huskies and wants them in the best situation. That means she must go above and beyond and once a H3 husky, always a H3 husky. She continues to support the Huskies and their families well after placement. She is working to build a nationwide team and network. If you’re already a Husky family or just live the breed, come follow the H3 journey and help support the H3 pups!

We had our Mazikeen brought to us. She had all her shots and was shy at first but has since warmed up to us. We were told she was a puppy mill mama. She definitely acts like it. I love the job Jenni and her village have done.
