Sometimes the girls have attitudes, but it's the only hardware store around. I've talked with several locals and they all say the same thing, "They treat their customers as if we are bothering them."Update: I just called them to ask a question and they responded like they are put out by us consumers. I don't get it. I hope the owner reads this. It would probably just take an office meeting to correct.Update: I tried to return a $20 item with tags and still in package , and they treated me like a was an enemy. I hope this place goes under or someone opens a new one.

They have just about everything you ever want. The best part is that you can bring something there and ask them questions and they will bend over backwards to figure a solution out for you. I was just in there today with a frost free spigot for the house where the old one must have froze and broke. It was leaking all over the place. Anyway, I said I want to get one where I can take the guts out and replace the guts in the one that I have instead of ripping the one out of the wall and having to replace the entire thing. They didn't have my exact one but took the ones I had a part to see if the guts were the same. Love all of the personal help that I get there.

I can't believe the previous reviewer was even in the Eufaula True Value! Our family and all of our friends always talk about how Johnny and his crew provide the best possible service and we compare their service to what it was like to shop back when store owners cared about their customers in the good old days! When you walk in the front door someone always greats you and asks if you need any help. No matter how busy... they are always more than happy to talk to you about your project and help you find the right piece or part or whatever it is you need. And if you get home and the part isn't right they are happy to swap it out for what works. I love the fact that I can walk in with a part and show them what I need and they can instantly tell you what row and shelf to find the replacement! Try finding that kind of service in any of the big box stores! This True Value is always clean, well organized and has an incredible inventory and if they don't have it today, they can have it for you tomorrow! We love our Eufaula True Value and everyone that works there!

Came in looking for replacement hardware for a phone holder for a bike because the cheap Chinese soft metal hardware stripped. The lady working there with the short grey hair helped me out to her fullest ability and did so with a very pleasant attitude despite knowing I just needed a nut and bolt replacement. I spent less than $3.00 here on hardware but they treated me with respect and like my business with them mattered. I would highly recommend anyone come here for their hardware needs. Thanks a lot for your help today!

I realize that you can't judge a store by the performance of one employee but for the most part I have never found this store to be very helpful. Some of the employees, like the gentleman I dealt with today, were anything but helpful. Apparently he had better things to do than help a customer (me). There are other places I can go for my hardware needs. I think I will do just that.

Horrible! I showed up at 2:32 and they refused to let me in and people were still inside! (And she was very rude!).. I just needed 2 bolts to finish my project. I should have just driven to mcalister to start with. I'll never use them again.
