After my mother passed away, we needed to do something with her cat. The kitty was old and not well. After we realized that was the best choice, we contacted Western Animal Hospital. My mother had taken Kitty there for shots, etc. for years. They were very caring and compassionate with us and the cat. It was a difficult thing to do, but their kindness made it easier for us.

I needed a vet in the Elk City area and I had about 4 to choose from. I called Western Animal Hospital, and the young lady who booked my appointment was most pleasant to talk to. When I arrived at their location on the outskirts of town, I found plenty of parking, and my nervous cat and I were taken right in. I thought Butter needed 2 shots, but the doctor, who had reviewed his shot records from his previous vet, said he really needed only one. That pleasantly surprised me, but not as much as I was surprised at my most reasonable bill. The doctor and office staff are exceptional, and I plan to make a return visit next year...

The experience I've always had has been wonderful from making appointments to the courtesy given from Doc and Skye. My GSD has been there since she was 8 weeks old and has been pampered like she was their own.

My cat needed to get checked out due to some pretty bad scratches near his eye. Called a few places and Western Animal Hospital said they could check him out in about an hour and get all his shots updated. Only took maybe 10 minutes and we was done and out the door for about half the price of other Animal Hospitals.

Wife took our blue heeler in yesterday and they listened to her heart and tested for heart worms. Said her heart was fine and that she was in liver failure and nothing we could do. That we should just bring her home and within 2-3 weeks she would start getting worse, then we could decide to put her down. They didn't do any xrays or run any test. I was not ok with that. So I brought here here to a different vet. They actually heard a heart murmur, then did a xray. She is having heart issues, her liver is fine. They are inside right now draining the fluids, and going to start her on heart medication. But yet, western basically told us to take her home and let her die. Will never go back to them again. Always get a 2nd opinion.

New to area and needing a new Veterinarian. Dr. Fuchs was very caring, professional and clean facility. Happy to give information on where to take care of other animals, that they don't treat.

There are better ways to tell people about how there's no way to test a live animal for rabies then to jus out right tell that pet owner over the phone that you have to cut their head off. You could learn to have a little discretion and compassion. I believe the term was decapitate. And I did not ask for that info, I asked what it would cost to test for rabies. A simple, we cannot test on live animals would have been nicer.

I felt like they were rough during Euthanization my dog was scared and screamed till the end I did feel the receptionist was vary caring just wish dog could have went easy

Took my calico cat to dr fuch and he done some blood work on her and she had kidney failure and their isn't nothing you can do for a cat that has kidney failure so he put her to sleep and we brought her home and buried her she was a sweet cat I love her she was 9 yrs old he is a good veterinarian to take you pets too

This vet office is amazing! I’m moving cross country and my dog got very sick. I walked in and they were able to see my dog immediately, where all other vet offices I called said it would be hours before they can see my sick dog.I highly recommend them. They took very good care of our cat, was very helpful in advice on how to get our cat back to a good weight. Since he is huge lolWe have found our vet forever. Highly recommend this place the cost was very reasonable.

I had just moved to the area a year ago. I wad referred here and poor Dr. Fuch's was in trouble. I have two medium to large exotic birds that needed their nails trimmed. He took care of both of them with patience and understanding. Thank goodness because they are a handfull. Thanks Dr. For helping with My unusual babies.

Dr Fuchs has cared for all the dogs and cats I’ve had over the last 16 years from shih tzu to St. Bernard. He is always very informative and treats your pets as his own. His staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and eager to help with any questions you may have. I Highly recommend Dr Fuchs for anyone looking for a new veterinarian for their furr babies.

I called because I had a emergency with my dog and there was no answer and I could not find a vet that would answer the phone on the weekend for emergency vet care and I had just a matter of time to get my baby to the vet or he would die and that is what happened because I could not get no help my baby of 10 years passed away
