Wow! First time having a famous King Deluxe burger and I can’t wait to come back!! I ordered the King Deluxe with grilled onions and mushrooms and cheese. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. Excellent meat and the onions and mushrooms were perfectly grilled. The fries and burger were screaming hot. Everything is made to order. Excellent service!! Thank you!!

We got the king double and tater tots. The tater tots came out well before the burger but can't complain because they were tasty. Golden brown outside and buttery on the inside, as a little ketchup and they are near perfect. The burger has shredded onions that are grilled with the burger. The onions were interesting, the flavor was good but the texture was like sour kraut. The proportions here are definitely healthy we split this one burger and it filled us up.

Vintage 1950’s feel burger/malt shake shop. Limited seating but the wait wasn’t too long to get a table. Loved the chocolate shake-but make sure they serve it in the metal cup they blend it in-surprisingly it did taste better served in that metal cup! 38$ for 2 double burgers, 1 fry , two cokes and 1 shake.

I'll start with the good. The place is tiny but very quaint. They kept everything fairly clean and the staff were all very nice and polite. My son enjoyed his burger and tots and my daughter enjoyed her burger as well. My wife had the grilled cheese and liked it as well.Shakes: These were blended PERFECTLY! The thickness of them is spot on. They are thick but drinkable shakes and they will mix flavors together no problem. I had a PB & Banana and my daughter had peanut butter and chocolate. Both were delicious and smooth! Added bonus they bring you the extra in the mixer cup if you are dining in!The drawbacks I found were the fries which were pretty soft and didn't have a great flavor to us. They were kind of like the fries the Garage used to have, only slimmer and not as good. We are not generally fans of this type of fry in the first place though - soft cooked and natural cut. I did actually ask for them to be crispy but it seems the message didn't get across somehow. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich... I do NOT recommend it. It could be just me, but I found it had WAY too much batter, (which was extremely salty by the way,) and the steak was a red-ish color (not rare) and very thin. It looked like it had been forced into a patty with a meat pulverizer and I had a difficult time even seeing it amongst the large amounts of batter. I have been to quite a few places with chicken fried steak so to give an idea of one I like, I like them the way Kendall's does them better.Wheelchair accessibility: It doesn't seem like a wheelchair friendly place due to the extremely small interior, but they could probably make it work.

This is a busy little dinner. They have a window outside for you to order if you can’t get a table inside. The window is walkup and you can sit outside in a covered patio area. The food/onions smell very food. Everyone in my party got the double meat burger and added cheese and that was very good. I got the double meet with cheese and additional lettuce and tomato’s which they also charged extra for. I thought the lettuce and tomato took away from the aromatics/flavor of the onion burger. So mine didn’t taste as good as it lacked flavor. All the burgers were fresh and made to order. The fries were fresh but were not seasoned with any salt. You have to add your own. This place is good if you’re already in the area and it’s along Route 66. However, if you not, I feel like Tuckers is better. They also offer a 4% discount if you pay with cash.

Small diner with a quick drive-thru. Outdoor seating with okay picnic tables and roof shelter. Great place for the ultimate onion burger. Out of the El Reno onion burger "places to go", this is my go-to. It IS small and busy. But It's busy for a reason.Edit: I went to Sid's yesterday and I was surprised by the outdoor patio seating showing signs of being enclosed. I asked about it and I was told that it is in the process of being completely enclosed for additional indoor seating with AC. That will be nice for the Oklahoma hot summers. The picnic tables were moved under the shade of the trees, which is also a nice option.

I have stayed many times at the ELReno city campground and I love it... But as I am always just passing thru I always have my camping trailer and could never figure out how to actually park downtown... Today I finally made it and it was awesome... My hometown has a famous onion burger establishment called Powers and they are currently going thru a owner change... So I got to post on their site about my visit here... Yum 😋

Went here yesterday with my mom and grandpa around lunch time. Everyone from the wait staff to the busser were all super sweet and we got our food quite quickly. Good portion sizes, too. I didn't quite like what I ordered, but that was my fault, up to personal preference, and it didn't taste bad at all. Mom and grandpa really liked their burgers and fries though.Atmosphere was lively, and the old school diner aesthetic is really cool. I also really liked all the pictures of veterans and celebrities who came to visit. This place is almost always bustling so I thought I'd give it a try, and I definitely don't regret it. I'd recommend coming here if you need a quick bite with some friends, you'll enjoy yourself!

If you find yourself in El Reno, OK you need to find an Onion Burger. Pretty sure that's a law. Sid's is one of a few that fit that bill. Food is made to order in front of you. It's diner food, so you're looking at burgers, fries, shakes, chili, sandwiches and the like. It's a small place with a counter. Service is friendly and attentive without being bothersome. Prices are reasonable until you realize burger toppings cost extra. It isn't a deal breaker but I'm not sure I've ever paid extra for lettuce and tomato. Drinks never went close to empty as most of the cup is ice. Seriously....Why is there so much ice in these cups? Totally unnecessary. They also will take reservations.UPDATE Jan 2023. We visited again. I was looking at my receipt and found a credit card charge. I didn't notice any signage explaining what this was (It might be there, I just didn't see it) and the staff didn't say anything about it. Bring cash if you want to save a couple bucks or head down the street. Maybe they won't nickel and dime you for every little thing.

Wherever you are, it’s worth a detour to Sid’s. The burgers are absolutely delicious! We didn’t have to wait long for a table, and the staff were super friendly and efficient. The place is tiny but has a great vibe, and lots of memorabilia. There’s quite a few tables outside if you don’t want to wait for one indoors. I hope we find our way back to El Reno someday to have another burger!

Ordered 2 burgers, one was supposed to have cheese..came with no cheese and a HAIR in my burger patty. Nothing is as good as pulling out a long black hair out of your burger after you took a bite.2nd deluxe burger didn't have lettuce or tomatoes like it was supposed to. Super disappointed and won't be going back.

This is a historic burger location. If you've ever heard of the burger scholar George Motz, you will have heard of this place. It's where the regional Oklahoma onion smash burger is from.I had the burger the original way; with pickles and mustard only. And it tasted incredible. Every bite was perfect, I did not one think that there was anything missing. I got a half order of fries and it could've fed 2 people. The chocolate shake was wonderful to boot.I was glad I was in the region to be able to go to such an iconic burger destination. If you love hamburgers, you must stop by, sit at the bar, watch them make burgers, and enjoy one yourself.

First time eating here. Our party of 5 got very lucky and got to sit right at the counter where everything was being cooked. One of the best burgers I have had. Everyone food was excellent and was made fresh and the portions were very generous. Great value as well. Cook and staff were very friendly. Definitely will make it back when traveling thru

First time here, passing through from Topeka, Kansas, food was not what we expected sadly... We were supposed to get raw onions instead it came with cooked ones. Not sure if she was a manager that helped us as she was cooking, but she "Sonya" did make the wrong “right” just before we left and made us 2 new burgers... Thank you!! And as for your review 👇👇👇 you might want to be a little more professional instead of calling customers names...

I have heard great things about Sid’s Diner! My family and I went through drive-thru only because there was no parking. The wait time for Made- to- order food was not terrible, however was quickly disappointed with the service we received. The young lady who was on the intercom seemed to have zero interest in taking our order. Once we received our food and started tasting it, the burger was GREASY and seemed like maybe they need to clean their grill. My wife liked her burger but also said it tasted like old char. The French fries were very expensive compared to the burger and tasted like cardboard fried in old grease and with all that food they only had 20oz drinks. They did provide salt and pepper packs for the fries but they absorbed all the grease from the food and we couldn’t use them. It was a waste of $40 for 2 burgers, 1 full fry, 2 half fries and 3 drinks. Drove 30 minutes to try it out and never coming back.
