I took my cat in on tuesday may 14th because she was acting very sick, when i brought my cat up there all the vet did was check her tempature, feel her abdomen looks at her ears and gums and proscribe her antibiotics for a preventative. Wednesday morning my cat throw up yellow foamy liquid and was gulping and breathing fast. I called and they told me to drop her off and they would do blood work. When the vet called me back 2 hours later he let me know that her body tempature was very low, he had a hard to getting any blood from her, that she had fluid on her lungs and thought maybe she had pneumonia and was panting. He stated her abdomen was defiantly causing her pain and that her enzyms were high and that could point to something with her kidney. When i asked if she needed to be put down he told me NO and that the antibiotics should hopefully help but if she isnt better in a couple days or goes down hill to contact him back and he would refer me to a kidney specialist. When i got to the vet to pick up my cat she was in distress, panting coughing and barely breathing i took her straight to a urgent vet clinic where within 10 minutes did vitals and a ultrasound on her heart and determined she was dying of heart failure. This is malpractice and negligence on 4v and the vet to let my cat suffer for more than 48 hours and DO NOTHING!!!

If I could rate this vet 0 stars, I would. To say that I am utterly disgusted and horrified at the treatment my dog received here doesn’t even begin to truly describe how unhinged and cruel his treatment really was. I brought my dog in to be put to sleep and I expected him to be treated with respect and kindness in his last moments, but clearly I was foolish to even expect decency from this vet. My dog was placed in a shed in their farm animal warehouse with multiple other dogs, no lights, and no ac for at least an hour. His kennel was covered in pee and he was panting heavily while nonstop drooling while having no access to water (none of the dogs had access to water). His kennel was placed at an upright angle (not even on flat ground) so he wasn’t able to lay or sit in it. When the time came to put him to sleep, Vet Shawn Vaverka placed him on the ground in said warehouse, stuck the needle in his arm, and walked out. He then came in about 5 minutes later while me and my family were crying and he said “are you guys about done so I can bag him up?” He then proceeded to rush us saying he had other things to do. Not only was Vet Vaverka extremely rude and unprofessional—but his wife, Kerry Miller Vaverka, as well. While she didn’t say anything that would be considered “rude” it was the manner in which she spoke and the times she chose to speak. She came up to my family multiple times while we were crying to ask us when we were gonna pay, when we were gonna move his kennel, when we were gonna take his collar, etc. I understand these are all questions that needed answers, but the multiple times she chose to come up and ask them were very inappropriate. This vet is not equipped to handle any animals whatsoever. Having a degree doesn’t make you good at your job and as an outsider looking in, I wouldn’t be too sure Vet Vaverka even has his degree. Not one member of staff here was sympathetic, kind, or even decent towards my family or my baby boy. I’d think twice about taking your pets here for any reason.

This is an amazing clinic with reasonable prices. I love in the Oklahoma City area but I drive about 45 minutes just to go here. They don't discriminate against dog breeds. I have taken my cane corso here for shots, to be microchhipped, and have her ears cropped. They also have a few options of feed, treats, supplements, and vaccinations for animals. Their customer service is pretty good also. I have rescheduled appointments before and they always treat my Stormy with love. I highly recommend if you are in the area although I know people who have come from out of town for their cropping services.

I called to ask how much they charge to neuter my dog and was satisfied with the interaction. All of my questions were answered and I really like the use of the app. The process was flawless; I dropped my boy off in the morning fill out a couple of papers, get the post op instructions, and done. No extra charge for being new to the clinic or anything.

i have never once had a good experience here, and i will NEVER bring another one of my babies into that cruel psychopaths hands. Dr Shawn Vaverka should not have a license, he is rude, unprofessional and DOES NOT know how to do his job. i will be contacting someone higher up, they need to be permanently shut down.

What an n incredible place with incredible people. From the veterinarian to the office staff, it is a blessing to have such caring and such skilled available. Regardless of whether you are wanting to keep your pet in this world or respectfully and kindly help them transition to the next world, these 'Michaelangelo's of Veterinary Care' are the ones you will want assisting you and your loved one along the way.

They did a fatty tumor removal on my dog and she healed so nicely and they also gave her shots all around I really like them that surgery was 500 to 700 at 3 places I called and I paid 360 here (please don't raise prices lol) posted a photo of Cali just to show her goofy self off

Had 2 dogs neutered last Monday. Both dogs are healed and healthy and the girls upfront were nice and helpful as always. Appreciate this place

Brought one of my bullies in for ear and tail crop. Paid 50.00 over the phone to schedule the appointment. Was quoted "no more than$250.00 at pickup." Received no phone calls or other information and was forced to pay$382.50 at pickup. When I questioned why the huge difference and why nobody called to explain the cost difference I was told"I don't care... This is your bill". This lady refused any sorry of explaination and started telling me to leave before I received the medication and care instructions after I paid this bill. Will definitely not be coming back for my other dog. Or for any more care

I had to put my baby of 15 years to sleep. The assistant was so sweet and caring, very attentive The vet called me in the room and I never heard his voice again. He gave her the shot and just walked out. I was thankful for his assistant she cared about what I was going through.

I've never had an euthanization go so rough. My dog was 14 and already in a lot of pain and it was her time. It was already a very difficult day. Unlike most other places I've been they don't give a first shot to put your pet to sleep before the euthanization shot. They didn't put anything on that cold metal table. They also refused to let me hold her on the floor during. They tied off her leg so tight she was whimpering. They had to do two shots and grabbed her limbs and roughly flipped her like a pancake to give her the other shot. I've never seen someone jam in a needle that roughly or quick. The assistant and the 2 ladies at the desk were very kind but the guy doing the shots had no patience or empathy. I feel so much guilt for bringing my baby here she was treated so roughly in her last few moments. At least they offer cremation services (at a little under $200) but that's really the only thing that went right about this visit.

I first visited this clinic when the cat my mother had been caring for was very old, became ill with kidney problems and we had to put him down. They were so friendly and caring. This cat appeared at my door, he would not leave. So I made him an appointment and told them my story. They checked him out, neutered him, gave him his shots and clipped his nails for me. They are great.

I had just gotten a brand new puppy, and he got very sick. I called them first thing in the morning, and they were able to set aside some time to check him out even though they were fully booked! They definitely went out of their way to make sure my pup was okay. The staff was super friendly, and I will definitely use this vet for all of my future needs!

Needed to bring in my two puppies for an exam and first shots. The staff was fantastic, and the doctor was knowledgeable during our visit. I'll be switching all my dogs there as well. The service is well priced too, which is a huge plus when you now have 5 dogs.
