there was a hermit crab dead just left out on a shelf. when i informed an employee she literally just shrugged her shoulders and said “oh okay” and went back to what she was doing. when i got to check out, i let another employee know and he laughed and made a joke “no her hermit crabs today?” this place is a joke and the employees don’t care about the animals.

Bought 3 fishes got one free. Then few đáy later 2 died. My kid wanted to exchange, but the clerk told me that Store's policy is return credit only. Guess what? He returned only one full price of one fish only, The other dead fish is nothing as he GAVE HIM RIGHT TO take MY MONEY for the dead fish, not about 50% cost. It's a small amount, I didn't care, but surely I will shop somewhere later like Pet Smart. By the way, when I lived at NW OKC, the PetCo by Rockwell & NW Expressway did exchange without questions. I am in doubt if the guy did tell the truth about Store's policy, but I don't care. We don't want to do businesses with that store ever again.

Why are taxes needed to be paid if I had two gifts to redeem that zeroed out the tab except the taxes? If an email says that I have 2 free items to redeem I’m expecting those gifts to be completely free. Why add tax if there’s nothing to be taxed?

HEATHER ☹️👎Today, my daughter took my puppy to have her grooming service done, and I want to say I hate it. It's ugly. she looks like a doggy that I don't know, and I think my baby doesn't even like her hair cut off too much from the top, and then told my daughter, well, she was matted in the legs. she's very hairy, for one, but we brush her out a lot. So, with that being said, I will never bring my puppy back to Petco. It was always a waste of money, and I don't like her haircut at all; not what we wanted. freaking damn near scalp, my poor puppy.After my daughter almost paid close to 100 bucks, I hate she wasted her money!!

The only reason this isn’t a one star is because of the single employee who helped me. The service was terrible, I waited for fifteen minutes at the register for someone to come and help me. Most of the employees were in the grooming station and even though I was right in front of them, they completely ignored me. I had to walk to the Medical station to finish my shopping. The employee there was helpful. Still sucks that no one actually came to help me, and I had to go find someone.

Arley is the best! I was struggling trying to find a harness for my new pup and she helped me find the perfect fit and showed me how to put it on her safely! She also gave me tips to teach the pup her name and how to sit. we will always be coming to this Petco! Thanks, Arley

Staff all very friendly! Report we were given did not have corrected age/the correct breed/was half in the wrong pronouns (she for half when it's a he). The coupon for the initial visit is very nice.

Petco - DO NOT JOIN THE VITAL CARE PROGRAM + Unfriendly staff. Anytime a savings/rewards program won't allow you the freedom to unenroll that should be a sign that you shouldn't do it.

This is the only petco I go to. They’re really nice and even refunded me a new heat bulb for my snake since the one I bought blew up. 100% the best customer service.

We went in for what we thought was a quick run to get crickets for our geckos because Petsmart is currently out. We had to go ask for help twice and waited 20 minutes. The poor cashier was the only employee on the floor while the manager was running around doing other things so he had leave the cash register to come help us with crickets. The manager saw us waiting in the aisle next to the employer office, ignored us, and then when I tried to ask him for help he ignored me so I asked the cashier for help instead. The manager ended up being the person who checked us out so I don't really understand why he couldn't have helped us or his employee when he needed it. Every single time I have been to this Petco, the managers have been incredibly rude, there's always one employee working the entire store, and it's a long wait to get help because of it. Do something about this! We go to Petsmart even though it's farther away because the service and item selection is so much better there. I'm only giving two stars instead of one because the employee was so nice and was clearly trying to do his best being the only person in the store doing his job. Your employees deserve better than this.

I went in to check out the birds and the cages. I'm thinking of getting a couple birds. It just happened to be pet adoption day also. There were lots of dogs and cats there who really need forever homes. The place was poppin. I may go there to get a bird when I'm ready, but not 100% sure yet. I'll have to cross check prices with the other pet store in town. I'm sure I'll be back there though because it happens to be in a very convenient location.

Clean location with friendly helpful staff. They helped our fur babies feel welcome as soon as we walked in the doors. Shelves are kept organized and neat. They even have disposable paper water bowls for your thirsty pet while visiting the store. Conveniently located above the water fountain in the back of the store between the male and female restrooms.

one of my god's eyes was hit by something while he was groomed there. But Petco was very considerate and understanding. They covered all the medical expense for us. I have to say, even we had unfortunate incident there, but what they did later is good.

Extremely caring and helpful staff all throughout! I took my fur baby in for a impromptu grooming after the little escape artist spent the morning running the neighborhood as well as it creeks! 🤦‍♀️ They made time to squeeze me in and took the extra time and effort to explain all the grooming options etc. They actually seemed happy to help and glad we were there. The store was clean and well organized. I did thoroughly appreciate Oops station as well lol

Austin in the grooming part is amazing! I walked in hoping for an appt, due to a mix up with another place and he was super busy during an appt already and the only one there and still took the time to write my name and number down if there was any cancellations for the week, and happen to call me back and get me in that next morning! Will continue to use them

I did like it. The atmosphere was nice and calm. It was full of items. They had a turtle, some frogs, fish, gerbils, and ferrets (aka slinky rats). The customer service wasn't bad but the employees did seem over welmed.

Worst customer service! I spend hours on the phone waiting on a manager and hours in store on the phone with customer service because the cashiers have trouble working the system with all the discounts and percentages off, usually they have to just override the system which works in my favor yet I wait so long in line just to get to the bottom of it, don’t understand why it’s so difficult to work their own system, but the rudeness from most of the cashiers (the exception to a few good ones and they know who they are) matches the rudeness from the managers. Aren’t we all in this to take care of our fur babies? Why is there so much negativity and rudeness from employees? If you’re that mad of a person find a new job!

Booked a shampoo, blow dry for my dog in between her six weeks grooming, and they only washed her. They never laid a brush on her. She was curlier than ever. Paid $80 for nothing not happy and never going back!

In a minor emergency situation you can't really go wrong taking your baby here. I highly suggest trying to get an appointment first so you don't have to pay the extra "emergency fee" to e them right away. I was lucky enough to get a same day appointment and they fixed my girl right up and she is on the mend.
