Definitely worth visiting if you are a pet owner. The staff were extremely helpful, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. We were greeted as soon as we entered and when we left. The pet food choices are focused on healthy more natural food options for your pets. They even offer refrigerated foods for both cats and dogs.As cat owners we were impressed with their selection of dry cat food options but even more impressed that the store offers dry cat food samples that allow you to try a new type of cat food without having to commit to buying a whole large bag of cat food that your cat may or may not eat. This is something you won't find in any other pet store in the Edmond area, and really sets this place apart from their competition. We really appreciated how open the layout of the store was since my wife is in a wheelchair. This open layout is also ideal for bringing your dog with you to the store, since it allows space to be maintained between dogs of different owners in an effort to avoid conflicts. There is also a knob at the checkout counter for securing a dog leash enable to checkout without having to play tug-a-war with your dog while digging for your wallet.Lastly the bathrooms were extremely clean and accommodating for wheelchair users.

We dropped our baby moon off around 8:30 this morning and picked her up around 3pm and she was so cute laying there. Staff was so welcoming, friendly, and insightful. They were a breath of fresh air and truly made my anxiety at ease and reassured me she was in good hands. And she was indeed. I highly recommend A1 Pet Emporium. They treated us and our lil girl Moon with so much love and respect!

I’ve lived in Edmond my entire life. I had not heard of this store until this past weekend. I was there for a foster event. I found the store to be very welcoming and the staff very friendly. They had a nice choice of collars and leashes. They also had the high-end food that my foster dog required, which is nice. I did not give it a five star because of TABR. That was the foster community that we were a part of as of Sunday but we were canceled fosters. I asked the foster community for some business cards or a free PDF to give to adopters. So that I could get the dog I was fostering Jasper Adopted easier. I was canceled as a foster on Sunday. The TABR community refuses to answer me. I do not blame this business in anyway. But they’re affiliation with TABR gets them a four star. When I went to the store on Monday to return a item that I bought on Saturday. The employee even stated that they are the rudest foster community that they deal with. If the Admins are so rude to the store, I don’t know why they would want to encourage the foster community to do business at their facility.I’m ever in the market for high-end dog food or specialty dog food because of a sick dog or special needs dog. I will definitely keep them in mind.

They did phenomenal with our baby girl. Dropped her to get spayed this morning and picked her up around 3pm. Everyone was so pleasant and kind and truly care for the fur babies. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I was literally driving past it on my way home for work when I decided to check it out. As soon as I walked in the door the manager came over to greet me. She was very friendly and showed me around the store. The cashier's Australian Shepherd followed me around the store and was very sweet.They focus on mainly dogs, but have a good variety for cats. The food they sell is top quality so it's pretty expensive, but it's very good for your pets.I loved my whole experience there and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

100% recommend.Local company, super knowledgeable, fantastic selection of quality pet food. Certain brands have loyalty programs, so occasionally free treats, discounts, etc. They give you a food quality info sheet with a pretty simple grading system. Sample bags are offered if you're not sure what to buy yet. Used those to figure out what to switch to, wound up switching to NutriSource for my now 7 yr old Belgian Malinois mix for the last year. His coat is softer, his energy is up, and he wolfs down every bowl.

My dog has a very sensitive stomach and skin so when I discovered that A1 carried a selection of high end foods that may not be available at a big box store I was intrigued. Since I started going there the staff have helped me out with not only a fantastic range of food for my dog and cat but also treats, toys, leashes, and collars! They also work with local animal charities which is a big thumbs up! Keep up the good work!

This locally owned pet food and supply store has multiple locations around the metro area. I have frequent it all of them and found the staff at each location to be very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive to all of their clients needs. This business is well engaged in the shelter and rescue community which I like as well. They hold adoption events and fundraisers at their stores which seems to help bring in new faces and clientele. While food seems to be there primary inventory, they also have toys, treats, and some medicinal products. As would be expected, pricing can be a little higher than one would expect in the National chains but the quality of products and the knowledgeable resources that the staff provide make the additional cost well worth it.

I love this store! When we adopted our Great Pyrenees we had no idea where to start with things like food or chew toys. They recommended a food that would be good for his joint health and bones that would actually last me longer than ten minutes. They could've told me to buy the most expensive bones in the store and I would've believed them, but they led me to a $6 bone that my dog loves and it takes him a month or two to wear down. Super knowledgable staff and I love their rewards program!

I had thought about upgrading my dogs food to be a higher quality, and everyone says A1 is the place to go. They were so nice and helpful. Everytime I go in they are welcoming and I have never had a bad experience there. I stopped ordering online and only buy my food there since it helps out local business.

Always love coming here. They have the high quality kibble like Victor, Acana, Orijen, etc. that most other places don't as well as raw products and even goat's milk! The staff is always pleasant and welcoming. My GSD loves the sweet potato sticks they have here as well. Will always be a customer to this establishment and highly reccomend them!

I just finished having the worst experience at Pet supplies Plus where the manager took pictures of my service dog and then continue to distract him when he was working to alert me of an anxiety attack. This caused me to go into a mild anxiety attack because of my flight or flight reflex it also caused me to have psychological tremors which makes it where I shake for 30 minutes because of this flight or fight reflex. I was so overwhelmed that I wrote a review and also started crying and was trying to call myself down due to the experience. I always go to pet emporium and they have always treated me with kindness the only reason I went to Pet supply Plus is cuz I thought they'd have a wider variety because they are a bigger store. After the experience that I just mentioned I am not going back to Pet Plus on East Stanford but I did go to put imperium which is where I usually go and I was treated with kindness no one took pictures of my service dog and I was even given a bag of free treats the lady up front was very nice and I will forever continue going to pet emperor instead of trying out other businesses because all it did was cause me trouble.

Quaint pet store, with a vast array of healthy pet food, treats, and accessories. They also offer various pet adoption opportunities. During holiday season, there are pictures with Santa and your pet. Will use them again, as long as there are pets in the family.
