Dollar General is my favorite place to grab a few things in a hurry, especially the store on 1st Avenue, the staff there are very friendly, and very quick, short, & sweet when it's clear you're not feeling very sociable. 💯

It's convenient to have any store this close since the short stop closed years ago, but not for food or meds. Something is always wrong with either. Examples:1. Sodas have been flat.2. Canned food is sometimes disintegrated inside cans (no dents on cans)3. Frozen foods taste... chemically? Inedible.4. Basic meds like ibuprofen don't work.Nothing against the staff, and I know Dollar General isn't luxurious, but these are simple low end items that we buy at any of the town grocery stores without these problems. It really is like everything is past it's expo date here. So unless you need something like a bandage wrap or dish soap, I'd go elsewhere.

This is an awesome place, great customer service. The manager Jerry is very helpful. Except the assistant manager (trish) seems to make things hard for him. Wont help w/ stuff on the floor. Is rude to him and customers.

This is the best dollar store in Durant hands down. The lines are small because it's a little out of town. The store is not nearly as cluttered as most dollar stores are. The staff so far have been great to deal with. Helpful and courteous.

Stopped by just after 4pm and the doors were locked with a sign saying they were temporarily closed. Several cars pulled in and went elsewhere when they saw the sign on the door. What's up with that?

I'll never return to this store because I can't depend on them to be open with their hours of operation. Their closing time says 10PM, but they were closed well before 10PM.

It wasn't crowded didn't have to wait in line it was better on nervous system. No annoying people unlike Walmart. Don't go toWalmart unless I can go at 4:00 am but theyOpen to late now. They worry about Coronavirus but everyone in Bryan County goes there all at once. It is crazy it is to crazy it's like no one has a job.

It's a Dollar General. No frills. You walk in, get your items, and walk out. What more do you want? 4 stars because there are few things I "love" in this world and baby Dollar General isn't one of them.

Their flyer/sales paper showed the sales for black Friday on the first page and for 3 days. And high lights of percentage off of items. However, the catch is, the sales paper had in smaller print on the back page certain items that is on sale AFTER Friday. Very misleading!The sales clerk was not nice nor did she care to explain why or help.

Great place to shop. Prices stay about the same as Wal-Mart. Making a short trip to DG is so much easier. Great staff, very friendly and helpful.

I like the convince and prices as opposed to going to Walmart but the isles are very difficult to push my daughter's wheelchair through. I wished there wasn't boxes and promotion sales in the isles.......

2 employees on duty, 1 takes a smoke break with several people waiting to check out. No concern for customer service. Believe it was a manager or key holder that went on break. Poor girl on register was working as hard as she could to help customers.

A fairly new store but it was nicely arranged and everything had a price and it was clean. The other 3 store in town are not very organized and therfore not very clean.

Most DGs in Durant have VERY dirty floors. The newest one is the best. It is clean and mostly stocked.
