I have been so completely pleased with my two cavaliers from Castlemar. My first Cav was a Blenheim female, Emma, who gave us 10 1/4 years of love and companionship. She was absolutely beautiful and we worked as an AKC Therapy team for many years.My second Cav, a male Tri, has now been with us for a bit over 2 yrs. Higgins is so smart and such a love bug. People constantly ask me where I found such an amazing Cav. You cannot go wrong with a Castlemar Cavalier!!

We are so in love with our little girl Yuzu. Dale was amazing to work with, so knowledgeable and passionate about the breed. He’s been available for all of our questions since picking her up. She came already potty trained, any accidents have been our fault, she sleeps through the night in her crate and is already such a confident pup for only being 10 weeks old when we adopted her. I can’t imagine our life without her now!Thanks so much Dale, our family appreciates you for bringing our Yuzu into our lives!

Adopting our new puppy from Castelmar was the best decision we could have made. Our little ‘Oliver’ is 3 months old now. He is healthy, active and he is such a happy little dog, loves us almost as much as I love him!Oli’s markings are so beautiful and defined, and he has the most perfect little face. He’s very easy to bathe, and doesn’t mind water at all.Our experience with Castlemar was nothing short of perfection. Dale was easy to work with, communicative, and kind. The puppy was provided with initial immunizations, AKC registration form, microchip, and purchase receipt, inside of a cutely decorated new puppy gift bag.We LOVE our new tri-colored boy! We are so thankful to Dale for providing us with the sweetest Cavalier - our Milo! When we first brought him home to San Francisco, Dale was very responsive to texts, calling us right away to help us troubleshoot puppy adjustment issues. Dale is very knowledgeable and helpful.Milo is absolutely the best dog we could ask for - he is easily trainable, extremely loving, friendly to all dogs and humans alike, and fun-loving. Also, most importantly, he has been very healthy. Finally, we get so many compliments whenever we are out for a walk about how adorable and good-looking Milo is. My husband had initially wanted a goldendoodle for our first dog, but after bringing home Milo, he is already talking about getting a second Cavalier from Dale in the future! Cavaliers of Castlemar are the BEST. 4 years ago my wife talked about how she loved her sister's Cavalier, so as a surprise I looked up reputable breeders within a few hours of me and I immediately fell in love. Not just the pictures of puppies, but their whole website is just full of information showing that they take the utmost care in sharing happy, healthy Cavs with the world.Working with Dale is a breeze and he will try to accommodate any questions you may have along the way. We picked up Brisket (Blenheim) 4 years ago and since he was a bundle of joy, we picked up Sylvester (Tri color) about 2.5 years ago. Both of them have the sweetest temperaments and just adore being near my wife and I. They are our little shadows. When we got them as puppies, we hardly ever had any accidents and they were super quick to be potty trained.They love all people, including babies and toddlers, other dogs, cats and my guys dont even chase the squirrels that congregate outside of my house.

Absolutely the best cavaliers in the country ! Our little Charlie is so joyful and loves everyone! I can’t tell you how much he is loved by us. Dale and Jane treat them like their babies not dogs. From the moment we got him we were head over heels in love. Charlie transitioned instantly ; now of course everything revolves around him😊 we also had a little cavalier named Jaida that was from Castlemar. She was the sweetest and prettiest girl. We live in Florida where there are other breeders however they aren’t Dales beautiful cavaliers. Highly recommend.

I've had my sweet Blenheim girl, Lucy, for almost 15 months now, and I could not have asked for a better pup. She is a happy, healthy dog with no behavior issues. She's eager to please and easy to train, and I attribute that to her breeding. Dale made this experience so easy and was so helpful. I recommend him and Castlemar puppies to everyone who asks, and you couldn't find a better Cavalier elsewhere.

I got my Brie from Dale & Jane. I was advised that all their breeding dogs are health tested. The pups are gorgeous and lovable. They keep their breeding lineage clear. Brie’s Daddy came from France. I flew out to meet Brie and her Mom, Carrot Cake two weeks prior to when she could come home. I fell in love that day!I told them I was going to name her Brie. She knew her name when I picked her up. Brie is a great traveler and loves flying. Anyone lucky enough to get a Cavalier from Castlemar or two are getting a bundle(s) of Love!!- [ ]

This is a trustworthy 5 star breeder. If I could give more stars I would. We are so happy with our puppy. This breeder has decades of experience and it shows in his expertise and dedication. Not only does he raise champions in the ring but he raises champion companions. Mr. Martenson trains and cares for these puppies. Our 11 week old puppy was pretty much potty trained before we brought him home. He only had one accident and it was my fault because I forgot to take him out after his nap. Within 3 days of bringing him home he learned to ring the bell at the door to go outside to potty. This dog has the best temperament. He is so responsive, affectionate and eager to please. Dale is also quick to respond to any questions I may have. He even mailed me a couple “snoods” to hold back our puppies ears so that his floppy ears wouldn’t get messy at mealtime. This is a great family run breeder. I highly recommend.

We have had our tricolor Cavalier for 17 days now, our fourth King Charles, and in that time Dash has proven to be the most curious, intelligent and energetic Cavalier we have owned. What a wonderful experience we have had with Cavaliers of Castlemar!! We purchased Kirby f/k/a Carter from seeing just pictures and videos from Dale. When we got to the airport, it was love at first sight. He is the sweetest, cutest, fun loving, healthy little Cavalier King Charles. Dale was always available to answer any questions we had and actually still is when I text him about hopefully purchasing another puppy. Not enough stars for Cavaliers of Castlemar! We got both of our precious Cavis from them who have brought us much joy over the years. These breeders are so loving to every puppy they help bring into the world. The sires and dams are also much loved by them as their cherished pets and it shows! I still love to watch their website just to see the beautiful litters as they are born. The temperament, health, and beauty of the Cavis they breed are just ideal. We still keep in touch with Dale and will turn to him whenever we are looking to add a precious Cavi to our family!

It's always scary trying to pick out the right place to find your puppy. You read reviews, search the internet and hope for the best. We've had our puppy Bear for 2 days and you can tell he came from a loving home. He is the sweetest, just a love muffin. I had prepared for lots of accidents.... He's not had even one! He completely understands to go outside, and he has even waited at the door for us to take him out. The first night of course he cried. But the second night, I played classical music and he slept the entire night. I'm so happy we chose Castlemar! It's clear how well loved, trained and cared for these puppies are with Cavaliers of Castlemar : )

This by far was the best experience we've had purchasing a furry family member. Dale is excellent is fast to respond, and the entire process was seamless.We live in California and our pup was flown on a plane with an actual person that we met at the airport. He wasn't sent as cargo. That right there shows how much they care about their babies.We received a copy of our contract, some high quality food, a blanket that was with the pup's mom, some treats, and plenty of instructions.Dale is always available to answer questions by phone or text.We have a couple of friends that have purchased Cavaliers from Cavaliers Of Castlemar and they had the same experience.Heck! The dog came pretty much potty trained!

Being introduced to Cavaliers of Castlemar was one of the best relationships of my life! My daughter brought me there in her first year of Law School at LSU to adopt a Blenheim. While she visited with her puppy, a tiny try color sat on my knee and stared up at me with the sweetest eyes. I was immediately smitten with Lucy Luffey! Over the past 14 years, Lucy has traveled many places as she loves to ride in the car. She always would follow me without a leash, and we did that when safe, but loved her leash walks as well. Lucy has been healthy until about two years ago when she started experiencing mild seizures. This has been controlled by Zonisamide and she is still going strong! I highly recommend Castlemar and one day after Lucy's long and happy life, I will be back!

My family and I truly feel so blessed to be a part of the Cavaliers of Castlemar family, adopting 2 beautiful puppies! My husband and I knew right away how special and loved these pups are by the breeders, Dale and his wife Jane. Dale spent all the time we needed on the phone answering our questions and helping us prepare our home by explaining all the things that are very important to do to make the transition for our pups a happy and positive experience. This also included great tips for positive introductions and bonding of the pups with our senior chihuahua. My husband and I were both so impressed with all the excellent qualities Dale and Jane share in being the best, top notch breeders! The mama and papa dogs are carefully selected to produce high quality pups! The mama is given all the best care during pregnancy and the pups receive the best medical attention when born. Our pups, Sophie and Max, are so adorable, sweet and very affectionate. We love them so much and couldn’t imagine our lives without them. They even brought out the puppy in our senior Chihuahua, who loves them very much too.

Our experience with Cavaliers of Castlemar was excellent. We wanted a Cavalier and we did a pretty good amount of research on different breeders. Dale was very responsive, so patient with us, and sent us pictures and videos of the puppies he had available. The transaction was very smooth and Dale’s communication was great. We got our puppy less than a month ago and we can’t even remember what it was like before we had her. She is loving and adorable. She is well bred, well socialized and healthy. A few of our friends have asked where we got her and we have had no problem recommending Dale.

Can’t recommend castlemar enough. I think Dale breeds the most beautiful Cavs with the most incredible dispositions. We’ve owned 3. Our first from Ragin’ Bull’s line isn’t with us any more. But our two yr old Tucker is such a joy.

We selected our Lana Lou from Cavaliers of Castlemar and are so grateful. She is so beautiful and such a great well mannered, happy pup.
