Had my cat peanut there about two weeks ago. She had a UTI was charged $56.00 for a bottle of antibiotics. Should have been enough for 14 days. Only enough for 7 days. Was charged $90.00 for an Xray which I know now wasn't necessary. I'll have to think twice before I go back there. But Peanut is doing fine now.

I cannot recommend the 49th Street Veterinary Clinic in Durant, Oklahoma, highly enough. In recent weeks, our family was deeply concerned for our cat, who, despite his young age, was clearly not his usual self. Faced with uncertainty and worry, we decided to visit this clinic, hoping for answers and, more importantly, a solution.To our relief, the clinic exceeded all our expectations. Without the need for an appointment, we were welcomed promptly upon arrival. The staff's efficiency and expertise meant that we were seen immediately, sparing us the anxiety of a long wait. Within a mere 20 minutes, our beloved cat was thoroughly examined, treated, and ready to return home, much to our child's delight. It was as if he was ready to take on the world again, all thanks to the clinic's outstanding care.We are immensely grateful to the entire team at the 49th Street Veterinary Clinic for their exceptional service and the compassionate care they extended to our family member. Their ability to provide such immediate and effective assistance without prior appointment is truly commendable. Thank you for being nothing short of amazing.

I was a walk in for my Dog Star on Friday morning, I was pleasantly surprised we got in so quickly. She is a vaccine reactor and they took the time to pre treat her before her annual shots and it went smoothly, (we even split them over 2 weeks to be safe) Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. it's obvious they LOVE animals here. Before I arrived I forgot to mention that she needed a new emergency medication dose for her allergy to bee stings. They were able to take care of that on the spot. I feel like my dog is loved and cared for here. This is how you want to see your animal and yourself treated when you go to a Veterinarian Thank you 49th Street Veterinary Clinic!The Pet Spa is also an amazing place for grooming. Star is so cute when I pick her up. They ask lots of questions to make sure I get the cut and services I want for her. I can't wait for her next Spa day !

If you want your per buzzed cut and basic grooming go here. They have many be one groomer that knows and then you get this. They make claims of their experience, don’t buy it. Brought in three happy dogs and left with three sad puppies.

Hands down the best vet I have been to! Our Zuma girl has made friends with just about everyone there, they have always taken such great care of her anytime she has to visit! We love the faculty here and would recommend them 100%

They charged me for the wrong Bella which is fine. I mean I get it. Two people were there to pick up a Bella. But the lady was very rude about it. She confronted me in the waiting area and basically said it was my fault for it (she asked if it was with Barnette and I assumed that was the vet name as I was not the one to drop her off my fiancé was) and that she will issue a refund but it will take 5 days to hit and that I needed to pay another $200 something for my Bella. Which is very inconvenient and seemed a bit awkward. It was humiliating to have to admit I don’t currently have that much on me. I told her I didn’t have that much on my card and she said “do you need to drive home and get a card that does have that much on it?” Just rude! That would total nearly $400 for the day. I had my fiancé send me money from our wedding fund thankfully but get your stuff together. One Bella was a dog and the other a cat. It would help to clarify which animal I am picking up if you have two with the same name. The two ladies sitting at the desk kept talking out loud about how they confused the two animals as well. UPDATE: As I was checking out the lady continued to be hateful and give attitude. I was clearly shaken up and embarrassed. Ready to go.they did let me pay the difference and the vet was very nice and services appropriate. I gave 3 stars and only docked 2 for the way I was treated by the front desk. My fiancé and I decided to take our animals to a different vet moving forward.

This is also is a very caring place to take your animal's too Jen is a wonderful & caring vet.And I do like appointments makes it so much easier. Price is fantastic for Oklahoma.. Alot cheaper than what texas vet's charge.

I’ve had good experiences with this location in the past. They have provided annual shots for our two dogs without issues the last two years on a walk-in basis and even squeezed us in to look over a small issue we had with our female. This year I decided to be proactive and make an appointment. Using the email address provided online I sent an email on a Monday to schedule an appointment for early Friday morning. I took off work and showed up Friday to be informed that they don’t check emails.

Dr Conley was extremely through when he examined my dog. He focused on my concerns and I feel that Phoebe is in great hands! He put together a great plan for Phoebe as we work toward finding a definitive diagnosis for her. He’s the first vet out of THREE to find the source of her pain.

My visit involved a heart - breaking purpose; the entire staff helped ease the pain. The compassion and concern expressed by each staff member I interacted with enabled me to send my beloved dog on her final journey with a modicum of peace on my part. Out of the 3 vets offices in Durant, I feel like this one is the happy middle as far as a few things go, although they are the most expensive. At least for me at the moment, not that vet trips aren't expensive everywhere nowadays.1. You can get in. Very important! They do appointments AND walk in's. Love that.2. The vet I have is knowledgeable. I say that as a vet techs daughter. I've never felt like he's b-s'd me.3. He isn't scalple-happy and does a good assessment.I've also been here fairly frequently this year. Only once was a girl on the phone sarcastic with me, but I don't know which one. That's a pretty solid success rate overall, in my opinion.

After moving here from OKC, and visiting three other clinics, I’ve finally found Dr. Jen and her staff! I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of care. Reed was neutered at six months, and every aspect of his health is monitored. While I’m traveling on business trips, he’s getting to enjoy doggie daycare and boarding, and he’s also enrolled in obedience training. It’s pretty nice to call to check on him and be provided with videos of his play sessions. Reed is my whole world, and I’m so grateful that he’s treated so well!

They actually examined my pet and took the time to explain things! Their prices are on par with other vets in my area. My past few experiences with veterinarians have been waiting 3 to 4 hours just to get 30 seconds of their time and they stand 3 feet away from the dog and say yeah they just need a steroid shot. Not to mention ridiculous fees, also.

This is my very healthy puppy Gus, thanks to the Durant 49th street vet! I would 10/10 recommended this clinic. I’ve had emergency’s from having an ear infection to breaking a leg. The workers there are very professional and polite and get me in when Gus needs to be helped.One specific time, Gus got into a nasty fight with a stray. I immediately called the 49th street clinic and thankfully somebody answered the phone. Gus got the help he needed, mind you this happened at 2am in the morning.Another wonderful reason I would give this clinic a 10/10 is because of their prices! I visited an other vet near by and the prices where outrageous. All in all I think the Durant 49th street vet clinic should get 5 stars for their kind workers, all the emergencies they’ve helped me through, and the prices!

I recently visited with an emergency where I was told within a few minutes of my cat being seen that he had already passed away. I had spoken to a receptionist the day before and they stated it would be best if I came in right as doors open at 10am and was informed it would be a walk in. I had a notification that following morning about an appointment that same day at 10:30am, I don't remember scheduling this. I became very worried waiting outside and came in at 10:15am. I was informed I would be paying an emergency fee of $100. I would have been fine with this if my cat would not have died within minutes of being seen. I also believe I was charged a $55 euthenasia fee and the unknown amount for x-rays even though my cat passed from respiratory failure in the office before medications were even administered. This cat was my emotional support animal as I am physically and mentally disabled. This entire experience has destroyed me. I recently lost my employment unexpectedly and have already filed for bankruptcy. If my mother had not offered her credit card to me that morning, I would not even have been able to afford this. Thankfully I will be getting his cremation remains back. Hopefully they'll call me when my baby is ready.

Small place but I did like it They took on my case with my male Frenchie issues. He had lost peepee due to bladder stones and now has a rerouted hold to pee out of. He has to have regular blood work done and prescription food. And of course prescriptions to help him keep his protein down. My boy liked the doctor and staff and that's important to me that he comfortable with them. I'm very happy they took my boy as a patient. Note....We had his blood work done and everything is good. I have other Babies and l will go back.

We are new to the area and this vet clinic and overall they seem great BUT after losing our Cane Corso during labor we had to bottle feed the 7 puppies that she successfully delivered. They are 2 weeks and 3 days now 2 ended up getting sick so my girlfriend took them all in, needless to say she had the worst experience we have ever had with any vet. The doctor saw fit to tell her that it was her fault they got sick and basically that it was her fault their mother died because she didn't make it in for the scheduled c section which is very unprofessional and terrible for someone to hear that just lost a well loved family pet. I told her most people have never, can't, or don't now how to bottle raise a litter of puppies and if you ask me she is doing great so far regardless of what this guy had the nerve to tell her and all 7 are still here and going so just know the ladies at this facility are awesome but whoever the older gentleman is can be very rude and inconsiderate.

This was my favorite vet but not I am not pleased at how we have to wait in the car. It's not covid times anymore and you have a nice waiting room. We can't afford to sit and burn gas for an hour. Yes, an hour, it can sometimes let us take that long. Basically you leave us 2 options, sit in the car and use up all our gas with air-conditioning, or make us and our dogs sit in the 90 degree car about to have a heat stroke. It's hard to justify going here when you're making us pay for gas.

My aunt had the unfortunate duty of euthanizing her dog. The staff was fantastic in answering questions, making sure her dog was comfortable, and the process went as smoothly as possible.Fantastic clinic!

The staff is friendly, professional, competent and informed. The fees are reasonable enough that I drive from DFW up to Durant for their services. My Great Dane was neutered there and his recovery was better than I could have hoped for which makes me think they were very gentle with him. The only drawback is that the veterinarian nor the surgeon interact with the "parents" so I have no idea who they are.

Made an appointment to see if my cat Trouble was pregnant so I could have her spayed. If she was pregnant, how far along and how many kittens. I only had to wait a couple of minutes until they came and got her. The vet came out about 10 minutes later and told me she was 6 weeks along with probably 4 kittens. We are going to o have new babies in about 4 weeks. The only problem I have is you can't go inside with your pet. When I have to bring my dog in she is going to totally freak out if I am not with her.

We had a beloved pet become sick with an unknown infection. They treated him quickly and did necessary tests to find it. Our dog was sick but had no visible injury. We were extremely pleased with the customer service and the care our baby received.

Had the hardest time getting my dogs medicine they were always out. Had surgery there they removed the wrong tumor so had to go back for a second surgery. Then when it was time to put our dog down. Just got told there was no room. Maybe a walk in but not guaranteed. Not I am sorry let me see when when can get you in.

I love the vets here and there staff. They helped me with a emergency with my dog and I am thankful to them for helping her get well. You need a great vet they are it. Dr Jen makes you feel like your dog is the number one even though they are always busy. Thank you for helping my Sophie.

1st time patients, we were referred as we are new in town. I was not pleased with the way they are running their services. I have a small rescue chi, she doesn't do well with ppl. They had me wait in the car(for an 1hr , 100° out) while someone we have never met took her to be examined by a vet I never met or was able to talk with. I prefer more interaction with our vets. My dog was completely traumatized on top of the reason for our visit in the 1st place. We will be finding a more comfortable vet for our next visit.
