I brought my dog in and she was very dehydrated and lethargic and wouldn’t eat or drink. Multiple employees suggested that she was just depressed when she was clearly ill. Then they insisted she had gotten into ADHD medication or medical marijuana even after I told them no one in our household uses either of those products. Then the vet said that she had slight inflammation showing on her labs but that they couldn’t really find anything wrong. They kept her for two days and gave her fluids and then sent her home saying that they couldn’t find anything unusual and she should bounce back soon. She continued to decline and refuse to eat so I took her to get a second opinion and took the copy of lab results that Arrowhead gave me and the vet at SAHO took one look at the results and knew immediately that my dog was in kidney failure. I talked to the vet at Arrowhead multiple times and she never mentioned anything about her kidneys. So after paying $1,004 for Arrowhead to tell us they couldn’t find anything I ended up having to put my dog to sleep anyway. I’m not saying that Arrowhead could have saved her but they need a wake up call on taking test results more seriously. When I called to inform them that she had to be put down I was then informed that the dr had noted that her kidney levels were “a little high” and she wanted to check them again in a week and then again in two months.

We were visiting my dad when our cat took a turn for the worse. Arrowhead was able to work us in the day after Christmas to have our poor boy put to sleep. Hannah, Dr. Haxton and the staff treated us with tremendous compassion. I wish I lived locally so all my pets could be taken care of here.

My dogs love it here! One is very anxious and they have been so sweet and supportive to help her feel comfortable in their clinic! They offer friendly visits for the babies that are overwhelmed and need time to get comfy with their doctors.First clinic I have been to that has helped instead of making it worse. My other baby is a gentle giant. We adopted him through the Washington county SPCA so the wellness visit was free to make sure he was good and healthy. The staff is just all around amazing with my babies

All they want to do is charge for extra vet visits. Took cat in. Has Respiratory infection they give meds say call back if not better. I call back after 2 weeks still infected. But now need to charge more for office visit. Can't just charge for more antibiotics no you need a vet visit and more test. Also terrible service called at 10am took till 7pm to even get a call back just for them to try to squeeze every last cent she can.

Great place for check ups or shots but if something is really wrong with your pet they want to make an appointment.mine died right after I got it in there day earlier and would probably still be with us thanks arrowhead

The people that work are so incredible. they always call to follow up after appointments and can get you in quickly. best vet I've ever visited. they treat my pup Gibson like he is their own!

Went in to establish care for my 6yr old pup and had several questions about skin allergies, diet, and vaccines. They really took their time to answer all my questions in detail and were very helpful!!Another thing I appreciate was that they printed out two different “bills” for me to see how much things would cost depending on the route I wanted to take and were not pushy at all.10/10

Beware if they they tell you to come back for a $30 vaccination booster in two weeks and then charge you for $112+ worth of services. They don’t ask you if you want to have any additional services done than what you were scheduled for before they perform those services without asking for permission or disclosing prices. They are unclear on pricing and whether they don’t disclose to their receptionist how much they intend to charge you or whether they just spring it on you in hopes you don’t care—either way it is a failure on their part to communicate to their receptionist AND the customer. Won’t be back.

Very satisfied with the level of care displayed for the clients and the patients. Both doctors do an amazing job explaining the matter at hand. I love that patient care is at the top of their list. No matter how busy they seem, I always feel that the best medicine was offered and given to my pet. Will not trust anyone else with my pet! Thank you guys for the YEARS of amazing quality care.

Had ONLY used them for our pets for years. Had an emergency with a new pet we only had for 3 days. Waiting at the door when they opened. We were sent on our way because "they only do surgeries" on that day.This dog needed surgery!!!Needless to say we won't be back

I would never recommend sending your pet to this office. I scheduled an appointment two weeks ago to send my two pups. I was on my way to the office this morning for an exam, vaccinations, and buy new medication. As I was driving there they sent me a text telling me I would not be allowed to go in with my dogs and that a tech would be out to get them upon arrival. If this was our established vet I would understand more, however, this was going to be our very first visit. We have a very high anxiety German Shepherd who does not do well with strangers and an elderly dog who has trouble walking. My husband and I arranged for a babysitter to come to our house so that we would both be able to take our dogs together. I called the office and told the lady on the phone that I was extremely uncomfortable sending my dogs into an office that I had never been to. Her excuse was that they should have told me at the time I made the appointment, but the lady was new. I told her that was extremely unprofessional to let somebody know this five minutes before an appointment that we waited two weeks for and that we really need the medication. Basically, she left it at there is nothing they can do about it.*Extremely poor customer service. I expected the vet to call and apologize, but I received no such thing.I would highly recommend sending your babies to someone more empathetic. I wouldn't send my child in with a random doctor, why would I trust my dogs with people I've never met?

I have been going to Arrowhead for years now. I was surprised that they would even suggest poor veterinary care for my French Bulldog who is pregnant, by suggesting doing the C section on their normal surgery day of the week she would be due. This would NEVER be an option for this breed, as the puppies might not survive. If too early this breed won’t survive. They know this and suggested I make the appointment but have a backup plan if necessary. It was kind of a slap in the face to a loyal knowledgeable client, who chose them over others. . It would have been better for them to just say, we won’t do it for you.

I cannot say enough good things. My lab Marley had been suffering with an ear infection and had itched a sore on the outside of his ear. They fit us in, as we were traveleing through OK, and Dr. Hine treated Marley. Very caring and also very informative. Absolutely wonderful experience. Dr Hine even took the time to send me with her clinical notes so that I could follow up at home with my own Vet. Marley was feeling better within 24 hours! Just SO satisfied with our experience!
