My god, this has been the worst Dollar General we have ever visited. You couldn't go down most aisles as they were blocked with carts full of boxes, including the main aisles. I barely had enough room for me and my cane to SQUEEZE by the carts, someone in a wheelchair would not be able to shop here. I understand that you're stocking, but half of those carts could sit in the backroom until they are needed. I don't know how anyone could shop here and we will never ever stop here again. That was beyond ridiculous.

hi guys :3 i work here (at the time of writing) and i can attest that the store is in much better condition than it was half a year ago. it is under new management w someone who actually cares and we're all doing our best to rebuild our reputation and get this dollar general back to what it should be. please have patience with us, and we hope you enjoy shopping with us!

My daughter was sick so I stopped at DG in Colbert,OK store. When I checked out I did not grab my receipt. I normally don't get my receipts but I this case the lady that cashed me out took the medication out of the bag! When I got home that is when I realized the medicine was missing. When I went back for the medicine the lady made a point of, I did not get my receipt! So could not prove that paid for it. Make sure to check your bags and get you receipts and get that receipt!¡

Might be the nastiest dollar store I've seen. Floors are disgusting and never been cleaned. Shelves are poorly stocked and items everywhere.

You'd better call them before you drive there, you never know if they are open or closed, as they were today Sunday July 10 at approx 2 PM. And also make sure they are taking both cash and debit credit cards. The other morning all they could take was debit cards.Plus the store is a huge mess cant find anything nor came you het up and down some isles due to stock thats waiting to be put up. To bad it's that bad since they just remodeled the store. And if you do go and they are open GOOD LUCK finding what you want. They have only half of the summer stuff out and you have Halloween and the holidays coming up. They will never get that store back to normal. Would it hurt corporate to come up with a plan of trying over night stock crews to get there stores in order. I've been I'm dollar general store from Colbert to Ada just recently and they all look the same. Some little better then others but still freight all over the place and you cant find a thing.It's a shame too I use to love shopping at them but I'd rather do Walmart at its busiest times of the day.Hope you paying attention Corp office. Over night stock crews.

Located right on the main highway. Seemed like a pretty generic Dollar General, but it was clean and the staff was friendly. We needed bags of ice and they had them. Seemed fairly small but they had plenty of stuff to choose from. Made our shopping a lot easier.

The Store is located in a Small Town & Convient. Yet it seems understocked in Items I normally need. And most Staff are friendly , helpful & Courteous.But just the other day at Check out I overheard a Clerk there say, " I just should Quit so I could draw the extra $300 in Unemployment." Slightly older dark haired lady with glasses.Upon checking out I asked her to bag a few things separately as I had bought a friend if mine several items. She seemed Perturb by my request.On the items I had bought for myself I asked her to please Double Bag them, because they seem thiner bags than previously.She looked at me and said, "All of it ?" And I said, " Yes please."Her attitude about the whole experience irritated me.I don't normally post Negative Comments.But this particular one I fell should be brought to your Attention.

Erik Kyler and Mo are awesome. I know I’m forgetting a couple others I don’t know the names of. However, this DG is a great place to come. I feel bad for the employees here because I am very certain they are ALL overworked, underpaid and very under appreciated. I feel they all simply need a raise. They are all over the store. Putting things on clearance stocking shelves doing returns checking customers out bringing stuff inside and outside upon opening and closing. To whoever reads this, you better find value in these people and give them more help or ALL a raise. They never complain. Erik was even sick and his voice was going out and he still was at work making things happen. Thanks guys!!!

This is my very favorite DG....this little country DG has the best employees ever. Public relations are almost everything to me. Always a smile & helpful. Merchandise knowledge is great as well. I just can't figure out why...every Dollar General i have ever been to...is always short staffed. Hat's off to the hard working peeps!!!

Prices really only a little better than convenience store - poorly managed after initial opening in 2016. Often out of bread and other items.Update 2/22/2021 - In reading some of the glowing reviews beside mine, I wondered what alternate universe they live in. We live in Colbert and we go to this store often simply because we don't want to drive all the way to Durant or Denison for a few items. But, very often there are boxes in the aisles, empty shelves and few employees. So, those employees that are there tend to be cranky due to being overworked. And as I said initially above that applies to this day, "Prices really only a little better than convenience store - poorly managed after initial opening in 2016. Often out of bread and other items."

One of the workers there was rude and hateful. I am disabled and have a hard time bending my knees and she wouldn't help me get something. She was so busy on her phone to do anything for anybody else. I have to go to that store bc it's only 4 miles from my house and I live out in the country. She really needs a lesson in manners. She also had about 4 men hanging out at the counter with her while I was trying to check out. This cashier's name was Ashleigh. She wreaked of marijuana.

It's ok the only annoying thing is they leave at night and the alarm goes off alllllll night long. They say it's because the balloons which yeah I understand but I don't understand where they think it's ok to keep everybody in a 5 mile radius awake all night. And not just one night every now in a again. It's 2 or 3 nights in a row. With 2 kids in school and a full time job it will piss you off real quick. 10:30 pm to 7:30 am. I literally hate this place.

There is an employee at this store in Colbert who is not a pleasant person. He has a sour personality. I wanted to purchase a toilet plumber, he couldn't get the scanner to read the bar code. So he told me he couldn't get it to scan. Instead of asking me to get another like item and see if it would scan, he dismissed me and went on to the next Customer. I think it should be reported to his manager.

This is the most unorganized store in Dollar General population. When people in this town have to drive 9 miles to buy food cheaper then Dollar General that is ashamed Dollar General supposed to help us not the greatest by charging more than Walmart 3 bottles of dr. Pepper for $11 and right next to it one bottle for a dollar 79. Really I can't believe they would have the audacity to cheat people like that. Cuz how many people are in a hurry they go back there get 3 bottles of Dr Pepper they pay the $11 cuz they don't want to run it back and they just pay for it that's what somebody's hoping for and that somebody's probably sticking the extra in their pocket instead of cleaning that joint up. I have been a supervisor for three convenience stores at one time never did I have a store that unorganized it's going to have to have a whole bunch of people come in and get it straightened out and then hire a bunch of people that know how to run a store and treat people the customers I mean with some sort of respect there's several really nice hard-working women in there but they don't stay long and gentleman also.

The stores are nasty and a trip hazard because of the many carts of stock blocking the aisles. Someone in charge needs to visit the stores and make some changes.

Not a fan of how junky it is!!! Most of the staff isn’t friendly, but a couple of them are. Definitely need some more organizational skills.
