I was here for pick up a dry load in refer with full tank, they weigh u first, then ll load according to that, so advise come here with full tanks, my appointment time was 4:00 pm show up early one hour ago, after check in and weigh got the door right away, loaded within hour, out by 4:15 pm,

(Dry van appt 8/20 @ 1130) new name. "Red Collar"Arrived 8/19 @ 1800 in case it was 24 hour location. Shipping was closed but checked me in ahead of time. Told to come back @ 0700. Went truck stop across the street. Arrived 8/20 @ 0645. Was allowed into parking lot and parked on scale. 20 or so employees walked by me while I waited and EVERY ONE said "good morning"! Assigned dock @ 0705, red light @ 0711, first pallet 0718. Green light @ 0815. Rolling @ 0830. 78,500 lbs

Friendly, but slow slow slow. Arrived at 1015 for an 1100 pickup appt. Backed into door at 1115 after previous truck left. Loading didn’t begin until 1245. Green light at 1515. Scaled out and they said they needed me to back to the dock again to verify due to discrepancy. Finally checked out at 1615. They will load you to max so fill your tanks (and get something to eat) beforehand. And hope you don’t need to be reworked 3 times like the driver next to me. Otherwise large clean secure lot with full size scale on site. Just wish they respected driver’s time.

Well guys here's my experience at this place. I had a 1:30 PM appointment for a load of bulk mineral and arrived about 20 minutes late. The facility was great; there was a large paved lot and office staff was great. Anyhow I weighed in and got back to the receiving area around 2. There were 3 trucks ahead of me and finally at 6:20 PM I got backed in to unload. All said till I got out of there it was about 7:45 PM so I spent just shy of 6 hours there. All I can say if your hauling bulk ingredients in make sure you make your rate high enough to make it worth your time to sit there for several hours.

Arrive with full tanks, they will load you to the max. I was contracted for 42K. I had 1/4 tanks of fuel and 1/2 tank of DEF. Scaled after loading and about went into shock when I saw 79500 on the scale readout. Spent 5 hours here, 3.5 for loading and 1.5 hours getting weights balanced.

Not just this one. But all red collar seem to think it's no problem to hold a truck trailer and driver up for over 24 hrs. Guess by the time they beat you out of detention, it's cheaper to screw over the driver's than it is to do proper inventory and ordering.

Super slow loading. Takes about 4 hours everytime I come here. What could they be doing for it to take so long? Whats the point of having appointments if you're going to take half the day to load a truck?

If it was 1 time and 1 bad experience I would say ok, but 2 times in two states in a 5 day period at a Mars Pet Care facility “They have major problems”..Temple Texas facility was a desaster from the get go. Read Temple Tx review. This load we got in Texas on 3/29/19 has about a 7/8 hr drive to deliver in Clinton, they want appt scheduled 24hrs in advance???? As soon as we got under load, called for appointment at this so called 24hr facility only to be told next available appt was 4/1/19 at 1:30pm. Today 4/1/19 1:pm driver was told by their office there that night/weekend crew didn’t do their job so it would be probably tomorrow before they could unload him..UNEXCEPTIONABLE!!! Not our problem. I WOULD ADVISE IF YOUR AN AG HAULER NOT EXCEPT ANY LOAD THAT HAS MARS PET CARE AS PICKUP/UNLOAD DESTINATION!!! If you do “DEMAND DETENTION PAY AFTER ( 2hrs Of your appointment) Hit them in the pocketbook like they do the drivers!! That will get their attention I bet..WE WILL NO LONGER EXCEPT LOADS GOING IN OR OUT OF THEIR FACILITYS. Good luck to the other AG haulers that have sat their right along with us sense Friday of last week..Still sitting!!!

They scale you when you arrive, then put you by the fence to wait 5-6 hours and at the end load your trailer to the maximum.Overweight on drive axle, 7 times reloaded trailer and still overweighted.Employees at the office very rude.Difference between IN and OUT weight 43,900lb but BOL says weight=40,350lb

Same old stuff here. 3 hours after my appointment and no word other than it will be several hours to even start unloading. This place is horrible as always.

Drop & hook (for some, most?) on gated, secured, & lighted extra large yard, with full length scale. 👍 Although in & out short & tight off road, unobstructed view of gate area & road is a huge plus. Very close to I-40, with "Domino" truck stop almost right there, back (going North) towards FWY on the right between DOT & Veterans. 😅

Don't bother arriving early. 🤔 no use. Keep your hours and show up on time. I arrived an hour early.. no other truck in dock. Still not unloaded.

Not too bad of a place to pickup but they do load you heavy ..... I recommend topping off the diesel & DEF tanks prior to arriving .....

If u get here past 7pm u might as well go find a truck stop to park at no body will answer the phone or the intercoms. I have called 9 times by phone twice by intercoms and have nailed my train horn 4 times still nothing

Ask for way too much information when you arive. Info that they don't need. Then they make you wait in line to weigh your empty trailer. They scale your empty so they can over load your order. avoid this place.
