OK, so I would like to amend my prior review. I've always said the employees here do their best despite the ownership. They certainly do. And, there is a new manager. This guy is definitely trying to turn this place around!! Nice guy. Actually took the time to ask for feedback. The store is clean, well stocked and employees are friendly. Appears to be thriving. I stop here often as it is convenient. Well done. I truly hope the ownership values the efforts. This location is a stand out compared to others.

I have to say this is the worse Dollar General to go to. They are never helpful and charge you for discount items, the full amount.

The store is always either closed or closing early. It’s a regular basis and highly inconvenient for the people who frequent this location. There is only 1 good employee that works there, and it is the older man who is always out front stocking and moving stuff while also running the register while the other ladies, including the manager, hide in the back or stay outside smoking. I feel bad for that man, but he’s the only reason this store functions when it does. Give him the manager position and take that hag of a blonde lady out of the equation and I bet this store would run a lot better.

Went to purchase an energy drink and it was ringing up around $2.10 when the sign said $2 and when informing the clerk, Michelle chimed in and said no, those are just the Java monsters and I tried to show her the sign and she kept saying no its only the java. I said can you not read the sign and she claimed she wasn't my kid or dog and I can't talk to her like that.

Never open reg hours, always has a sign posted with temp hours while workers are outside in car or inside with door locked. Employees are hard to find in a little store when they are open and your left standing waiting to check out for 10 min. Open from 10 to 5pm most the times and if you don't believe me I tk photos of it every time. This place is a mess inside and needs new management. I literally hate Karen's who complain but this is getting out of hand. Js

Even though the aisles in this store are crowded, it is still my favorite one. The cashiers are helpful and friendly and never make you feel like you are bothering them. I shop at this site quite often and love it!

Went in armed with my DG digital coupons & came out with several Gain products -- some for FREE -- & only paid full price for one item! Gotta love saving nearly twice the amount I paid!!This store's employees are generally very friendly & helpful. I don't like the car park entrance (especially in snow/ice), kind of steep, but that's really the only negative thing I have to say about this location.

Pretty much every time I visit this store at least one of the employees is smoking just outside the entrance so I can enjoy all their second hand smoke on my way in and out. Today there were 2 of them. I would not advise coming here if you intend to smell like anything other than an ashtray on the way to wherever you're going.The one employee who was not smoking was helpful so I'll give them that.

Normally I would rate this store five stars because of the manager and the little dark haired cashier. Saturday I had the misfortune of dealing with a hateful cashier. When I explained the problem and pointed out that there were people waiting on her to check them out..her response was why was I arguing with her over some change? Because the Change adds up. I purchased something marked $4.00, it rang up for $1.00, with the additional 50% it would of been 50 cents. Like the sign said but she kept telling me that it was a only 50% off. If that was the case it would of rang up for $2.00. I guess she is using that new math. I spent over $100.00 I am in there all the time. If she is working I will take my money to Target or Walmart.

I like going to dollar stores because it's fast and easy to grab groceries. However, I am so disappointed that they are not honoring the tax exempt issued for 100% disabled veterans which is against the law. They gave me a phone number to call. I called the admin numbers and told me to register. I registered but they never send me anything that confirmed my application for tax exempt. Basically this business getting away of violation of federal laws. Shame that they won't honored tax exempt.

The one younger guy that works here is the best employee this place has seen. Trouble with the card machine since the car drove into this building. Usually carts everywhere with items to be stocked. But, because of the location, it survives.

At this Dollar General staff was really unprofessional customer service was almost terrible everything from talking about the personal drama in their lives in front of customers talking about drugs in front of customers. There wasn't a whole lot as far as stuff to choose from on the walls but it was very cluttered like it had been stocked in over a month stuff is in boxes on the floor everywhere wall shelves were empty.

They were Not stocked up on the items I wanted and an employee followed me and my friend around giving us an unpleasant look until we confronted her, she then told us we only had 9 minutes until the store closed. This woman was very rude and inexperienced and it made me hate my trip to this DG. It's a shame because I really like the guy at the register.

I couldn't find the right size dog snacks that went with the online coupon so the manager honored the coupon to the size they had. The clerks there at the South Choctaw Rd location are very good at their job. Nice and courteous. I will shop at that location from now on.

Only because I can't give it 0 stars it's 7pm and the stores lights are on but the doors are locked. Sign says open till 10pm but since doors are locked its not actually open. This is not the first time this has happened. I have to go to the one on reno often.

Tried to give them another shot but they failed again! Worse dollar store in Choctaw and surrounding area by far! Be prepared to wait and good luck finding anything seeing it’s like a garage sale

My favorite Dollar General. Clean, well stocked, friendly service. Even if the place is packed they get you in and out. All the employees know where and what they have in the store.

This location is clean and has friendly staff they always have plenty of what you need at a great price and don't forget to check the end caps for on sale items, it's one of the best stores I have gone into yet.....

My total came to $9.76. I paid with a $20 bill. The man child behind the counter (after I had waited in line) made me wait for him to go get his manager to get $1 bills for my change... I'm no rocket scientist but... 🤷‍♂️

I was at the store when some crackhead employee started yelling at a poor old lady for a mistake that was one of the other employees fault. Absolutely embarrassing. Dont go here if you dont want to be disrespected.

Best Dollar General in the area. It is always clean and not cluttered. The staff is very friendly. This is the only DG I will go to.
