Absolutely no notification of when my prescription was ready from CVS. I had to call, and even then it wasn’t ready when my hubby went to pick it up. The person who waited on him was rude to him. It makes us appreciate even more our regular pharmacy.

UPDATE: March 22, 2024 (i think 6months after I wrote the original review) I still have not gotten a call that they have the insulin needles.I wouldn't give any stars if I could. I had an insulin prescription sent in and had to wait 5 days cause they didn't keep it in stock. This is my first time using insulin so I don't know what I'm doing but they did not offer to show me how to use the injection pen. I found out later that I didn't get the needles (initially not the pharmacy's fault since the doctor didn't send in that prescription). Once they did have the needle prescription I checked daily for 4 days (until the weekend). Each day I was told they don't keep them in stock and to check back again. At one point I was told another CVS had them, but that was 40 minutes away, and they would not transfer them. They also told me the needles would cost me $65 for 100. I ended up calling Walmart's pharmacy and was told I didn't even need a prescription for the needles and I could come pick them up immediately at $10 for 50. I've been using the insulin for 10 days now and still haven't heard from CVS about having the needles. I WILL NEVER USE CVS AGAIN.

Just had rotator cuff surgery. Went to pick up pain medicine, was told they have been out for at least three or weeks, and for me to call my doctor to find another pharmacy Are you serious!?! We don't have it so tough luck go somewhere else. What an absolute horror show, this CVS worst customer service EVER! YOU JUST LOST A VALUED CUSTOMER OF OVER 10 years. Walmart will now get mine and my families prescriptions

Definitely wouldn't use this pharmacy the little girl in the glasses is rude thought it would be appropriate to talk to my sister in a threatening tone and cuss at her. The only decent person I've ever spoke to here was Brooke she is very nice and helpful.

I'm giving a two star based solely on the two pharmacy techs that I encountered on April 20th 2024 at 10 am they were rude didn't greet me in any type of professional manner and was quick to dismiss me. Way to go you guys suck I hope you have the day you deserve

I love love love these ladies they are amazing most of the time i only like using little local pharmacy but the Cvs n choctaw they always make u feel at home they definitely care about there patients they always go above and beyond thank u Cvs choctaw I love u guys!!!!

Such a sweet staff all around.My husband was mistaken about our new employee insurance card, it was actually not a prescription card, but rather a doctors appointment insurance card — not for use at a pharmacy.(His last card worked that way, this one did not, and I think we know how men can be when they believe they are right.)Still, they were immensely patient and kind, and spent at least 45 minutes with him trying to figure it out for me as I was sick at home.I did go ahead and purchase a couple of my prescriptions out of pocket at a different pharmacy before I spoke with insurance and sorted through the mistake.After speaking with my insurance again for several hours, I confirmed to my spouse that he had been wrong and apologized profusely for the mix-up, as I heard my confused and frustrated husband had an attitude with the employees. Again, so sorry and thank you all for your saintly patience with our family. ❤️🤦🏼‍♀️ Planning to send flowers for the whole soap opera.

Your professional, efficient, knowledgeable and all very friendly! We all need medication and it’s comforting to know that you genuinely care. I’ve used this pharmacy for years, recently had to switch to Walmart and I am now back at CVS. While I like the convenience of having a CVS close to home the wait in the line for the drive-thru always takes forever! I always make sure to have my prescription order and paid for so all I have to do is pick it up and it is never quick and easy like that.

Great Service! All of the ladies in the pharmacy are courteous. They helped me with a co pay card and saved my mother over $190 on her eloquis. I only use walk in, but noticed the drive thru is very busy.

They are a designated UPS drop and the manager Larry is stating I can’t ship to or pickup my packages (wine) there -though I have for months and it’s never been an issue- because someone might figure out I have wine shipped there and then create a fake id and then steal the wine. He informed me in an intense way insisting I had done something wrong or illegal. Well don’t worry Larry, I won’t shop or use this CVS again and will report your threats to UPS. Hopefully Larry gets replaced with someone more professional and less hostile.

Always received great service. My prescriptions are on auto re-order so I never have to wait. I receive a call as soon as they are ready and can pick them up at the drive up window.I also receive great discounts on line that I can place on my CVS card and don't have to remember that I have coupons for their products.

Terrible customer service and management/logistics. Can almost NEVER get my Rxs on time with the correct insurance and cost. Repeatedly arrive at the drive-thru window only to find that my Rx is not actually ready, despite a notification saying otherwise. Forced multiple times to pay out of pocket for medication I simply couldn't wait another day/days for. Staff has been largely unhelpful and rude when I communicate my concerns. Truly a stressful, unnecessary experience.

I dont understand all the negative feedback. I have been coming to this same CVS for scripts for at least 5 years if not more. They always do everything they can for you. All of the staff is amazing. I love when I call and Liz knows who I am. It just makes my day! She is amazing! Love this place and the people there! I drive out of my way to come to this one. ❤️❤️❤️

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars, I would. The waits are ridiculously long - I sat in line behind 2 cars in the drive through for almost 30 minutes. Also came down with the flu last week and my prescriptions that they said would only take an hour took about 5 hours. I also never get texts when my prescriptions are ready anymore. Half the time I call to check on them and they tell me, "oh yea they're ready" and then two seconds later I get a text. It is absolutely ridiculous how horrible the service is and I swear it just keep getting worse.

Really busy but they worked me in to get my covid booster. Took about an hour to get the shot. I saw several people complaining, but it was either because they didn't stock their medication or some personal problem. It's hard to believe that people don't bring their Medicare card or an ID when they go to the pharmacy. One guy was mad because they gave him a generic. Glad I don't work there.

Just save your time and money and go somewhere else. Probably the worst pharmacy I have been to but been there 4 times now and each time they are out of something I have needed and end up having to go somewhere else anyway. I figured it'd be an easy transfer since I used another cvs for years but the won't transfer all of your prescriptions and have been charged wrong almost double what it should have been. Luckily caught it right after and they refunded it.

I just got out of the hospital from having back surgery my daughter tried to get a pain script filled at a CVS and couldn't because she did not have my ID with her so my husband went to this CVS get my pain medication filled. He was informed that if he wanted it today that he would have to go elsewhere. It was to close to their closing time 9:00 when they say online 10. I am in need of a pain meds as a result of a back surgery and am unable to get it because they may have to work a fee minutes late. Needless to say went to Walgreens instead

Two days after my doctor called in my prescription I called CVS to ensure my prescription would be ready, I also asked the price of my medicine which they did not relay. Nevertheless, they said it would be ready in an hour. Five hours later I came through the drivethru and they still did not have it ready. I asked them to fill it now and explained that I had been waiting days and I was very busy and could not return later to pick it up, after all, they promised it hours ago. I asked for the pharmacist and he said would not fill it immediately and told me to come in. In the time he was talking it could have been filled, they threatened to tow my car if I didn’t leave. I went inside and the pharmacist continued to fill other’s prescriptions, making me wait longer. Finally, after obnoxious waiting, it was filled, I waited in line, and I didn’t have enough money since they didn’t tell me how much it was on the phone. I had to go to my car and come back and wait in line again. The story speaks for itself. Cvs is a disaster and I’ve already switched pharmacies hallelujah. I didn’t receive an apology. When I got home and opened my perception I discovered a paper was stapled with someone’s doctors name, lists of medicines, address, phone, DOB, etc... a major HIPAA violation

This CVS pharmacy has consistently turned into a terrible experience, every visit. The wait times, both for medicine to be filled and to pay is embarrassing. If you don't want to wait 15 minutes behind 1 person, I suggest visiting another location.

This place is horrible, the pharmacist was so rude. I just had shoulder surgery and wether he knew that or not seems like he was judging me for taking pain medication. Never again will I deal with this place. No courtesy at all.

The pharmacy at this location lacks good customer service. Whether you go through the drive through or go inside. There should not be more than a 5 mins wait when I have already dropped of my prescription and am needing to pick it up. They know peak times yet they fail to staff their pharmacy accordingly. Expect at least a 30 min wait for drive-through during peak times 4pm-6pm. I will now be forced to go out of my way and to go to a CVS that I have never had any issues with

Update 1.7.19 it isn’t any better.Called in refill last Thursday. Called to check on it and was told the dr had to approve it, called dr and asked them to do so. Friday I went to same dr for cold and asked if they had called in my refill, they checked and said yes, then wrote me an rx for inhaler, I got a text fri pm saying waiting on insurance approval for my refill, I called cvs 800 customer care to ask why it wasnt approved and was told I need a pa? I asked what that was and they said the pharmacy should have requested it from my dr. I called my dr and asked them to do a pa, Monday evening I went to get rxs and my meds I was out of wasn’t even in the bag, Two other rxs were. I called back to the pharmacy to get the one I was out of and checked on refills to hear one of my rxs was only a 30 day supply when in the past it has been 90.I had the pleasure of speaking to Kerry, been there for 22 years she proudly informed me, very argumentative, condescending attitude told me I didn’t want my prescription sarcasticatically because I said I wanted all mine in 90 day refills and the dr didn’t prescribe it that way. I said yes I want my rx I have been waiting on it since last fri and 30 days is better than none until I can get dr to change it back to 90, and she said no you haven’t I just got the rx and it’s dated 1/7. Argh!!!Had no clue about my past conversations with all the different people and just assumed I was lying. Very rude, no wonder Your ratings are so horrible.Old review:Called and said RX was ready. Went to get it, they had it under the wrong person. They told me two people in my town had the exact same name and birthdate. I don’t believe that. They tell me 3-4 hours to fix mistake. Ok no problem I will come back. I drive all the way home and get a text that my rx is ready. I think I will call to make sure all of them are ready. I call and go on hold for 7 minutes before I hang up, tired of waiting. Your store ain’t that busy, pick up the phone!!! I would have waited at pharmacy had you told me it would take 10 mins to fix your mistake. Now I gotta drive all the way back.

The Tech hung up on me!I wasn't rude, mean or nasty. Just asked why I was told to call to see if another cvs had a medication in stock. Isn't that your job CVS? Then pharmacist says it must be a misunderstanding on both parts because he heard the conversation. Wrong. Then this "team" sends me to a store that is also out of stock. Curious that I heard pharmacist #2 say the customer is already here. Then they were out.

Not even worth a 1 star. These folks are rude. Sit on hold every time I've tried calling for over 15 minutes and the people in pharmacy are dumb. Their excuse is always "We are 70 scripts behind, we are short staffed." Not my problem! Hire some help. Sad to have to wait 2 and 3 days for a RX or refill. And while your at it, learn some customer service skills. Will take my business elsewhere.

Never in my 22 years of being in the workforce have I went to an employement interview and was told, "we will call you in a day or two with a decision" and never receive a phone call. Just WOW.I GUESS thanks, this is a first for me. Don't know what else to say besides Larry and the other manager that interviewed me dropped the ball on that one. Hope this isn't a reflection on how the establishment is ran.

Not sure why all the bad reviews. I’ve been using this pharmacy for years and they are awesome. Once had a rare medicine prescribed they didn’t have and they called 5 local pharmacies trying to locate. Yes if you go to pick up a narcotic there are state laws about needing an ID. As far as their store prices, get their discount card and watch the sale ads. They issue extra bucks you can use for future purchases. Always buy my Tide when on sale with their coupon. Their vitamins are almost always but one get one free. Makes them cheaper than Walmart. And no they are not Walmart so a lot of their prices are higher. Shop wisely. Love my CVS!

I will NEVER go back to this pharmacy again! My husband just got out of surgery and when my MIL went to drop the prescription off, they said they couldn’t fill it without his liscense. Then to add to that, it was at least an hour wait to get the medication! I asked for the corporate number and the pharmacist said there isn’t a number, just dial 1800 shop CVS. Horrible customer service and VERY rude people! Stay away!!!!
