They are the very best, they are just folks, exactly what you hope for when entering a store for the first time, you get immediate help if you even look a bit confused. The staff is the very best and management is kind and professional a place I would work for if so inclined.Prices are competitive and reasonable. It doesn't feel like a corporate store but more like a local shop where you know the folks and you do at Atwood's.

I was there for a new riding lawn mower, interested in the Cub Cadet 42" cut. There were no prices on them, alittle inconvenient for me. But I didn't have time to stick around and ask for help. Nice looking rider though.

My whole family loves this store. It’s like others say “a toy store for adults” lol. The kids loved the bunnies, the chairs, and all the toys they have. Such a huge variety of outdoor equipment, clothing, and gear. The customer service is also always above and beyond. They do their best to try to find what you need and everyone seems to love their job!

Stopped by to pick up some red sweet pepper relish and they don't carry it. Have to go to Shawnee location for that. They had good prices on there dog and cat treats. Temptations and Disney were $1 each.

I will never buy another piece of lawn care equipment from this business ever again. the equipment is worthless, and if you don't spend the extra money to get the "warranty" you are stuck with something that is basically a pice of garbage.

The staff do their best, at least those stuck at the registers. You can expect to wait in like me if there are more than three customers in the store. For any given reason, one staff member gets stranded with multiple customers to take care of. Often, the other staff are camped out in the back office/break area. Corporate has been called for this reason, yet the local manager fails to ensure the cashier staff are cared for, not to mention the customers that pay the bill. Would hate to see this place replaced by Tractor Supply.

Atwoods visit on 02/04/2023, I spoke with an associate at the sporting goods desk. I was in the process of purchasing a firearm and the young man that assisted me was courteous and needed his manager to finalize the transaction. The manager arrived..“Eric”..and after a brief misunderstanding and lack of common courtesy, I chose not to move forward with purchasing the firearm! It was clear that “Eric” lacked the understanding and his inability to perform as someone in a supervisor position not knowing Atwoods policy contrary to his personal opinion. was frustrating. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere. Disappointed in the service!

Staff, management, and Dept. managers were excellent!!! Helped me with my first firearm purchase, and assisted me in my second purchase. Plus I buy all my pickled items/cat food from Atwood's. The prices are on par or better than anywhere else. Just shop them and you will see...

I would suggest to the heavy set girl when she gets a tip to thank the person but thats okay that is probably the 10th time I have left a better than 50 percent tip and not thanked for it so I am sorry but I am done with subway for the ungrateful employees. I do thank the young blond girl that was very helpful to me suggesting I get another sandwich and it would be cheaper if I ordered another sandwich instead of adding bacon to the outlaw. Those are the employees who are deserving of the tip. Thank you pretty young lady!

Great place if you want to waste time and gas. I called for ducklings, was told there were five in the bin. I told them I was over an hour away but I would be heading there immediately to pick them up. They told me they would hold the ducklings for me and put a sold sign on them. Lo and behold, an hour plus drive later, they had sold all but one injured runner left behind. When I complained, they mentioned giving me a $30 gift card but then refused I suppose because I wasn't grateful enough that not a single person apologized for their mistake. They didn't make me pay for duck, a whopping $6, and refused to do anything but stand there and look annoyed. Communication is pathetic and the managers don't care- especially the one who outright laughed and walked away when I told him what happened.

Awesome store!!!!! They have items that you wouldn’t even think would be in their inventory: home decor, clothing, candy, etc. All their employees are always nice and make sure you’re finding what you need. When I come in for one item, I always end up leaving with several. Thank you for carrying Chick O’ Sticks, peanut clusters, Cherry Mash, and several “old school” candies that are so hard to find. Your store is great and the free popcorn is not the only reason to shop here!!!!! 🍿🍿🍿🍿

Don't buy any automotive batteries here. Won't refund one for a feed truck that wouldn't start it in 2 different cold spells. Battery wasn't even 30 days old. Horrible replacement plan.

I don't like this Store the Employees are REALLY RUDE and my Wife and I were in there last summer and they had bulk peanuts for. 99 cents and they refused to let us have a box of them for the advertised price instead the sales lady blocked my Wife and called for another sales lady to come and change the sign so it would say. 99 cents a pound. I highly recommend buying what you need from Lincoln County Feed, they are always very friendly and their Employees are REALLY willing to help you.

We purchased a gazebo from Shawnee Atwoods that didn't come with install instructions. Instead of trying to help, their manager was very short (as well as rude) and just said there was nothing they could do. I called Chandler Atwoods and in 5 minutes they pulled up the instructions and printed them out for us.So all in all, definitely recommend going to Chandler Atwoods for great customer service👍

Buy from Amazon, likely where they get their merchandise, and don't have to pay the 40% mark up. Feb 2023 update still pricing issues item was marked one price then range up for 30% higher waited for price check then had to give up on Mngr to do the price change zero accountability. Got the item from Walmart less than the their lower price. Jan 2022 Container I got was 8 qt storage, tag on the shelf said 8 qt container 8.99 but get to the front it rang up 14.99 cashier even saw tag on the shelf refused to fix their error on an item they have 70-90% mark up. Guess I will buy it from Amazon and have it tomorrow

Nice place to get unusual stuff! We get out animal supplies here as well as a whole host of other stuff. We love shopping the bulk candy where you can have a little bit of everything 😋
