“My experience at the HY-Lo Hotel was absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed the spacious and comfortable room, which was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The service was excellent and friendly, and the staff was always willing to help me with anything. I can't forget the wonderful view that was overlooking the city from my balcony. It was a unique experience, and I look forward to coming back in the future.”Rooms: The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with modern decor and elegant furniture. The beds were very comfortable and gave me a deep sleep every night.

DO NOT GO HERE. Reading these reviews, there is evidence of a theme of experiences and terrible customer service. I traveled here with my young child for a place to sleep safely for the night. Upon entering the hotel, it was apparent remodeling was occurring, which did seem to be too concerning, yet. Once we got to our room, I noticed the door was jarred open and not locked (a first concern for safety.) Then, once inside, the safety lock on the door was made of plastic and very easy to push past if someone wanted to enter throughout the night. In addition, upon entering our room, my phone signal was SOS, which was concerning to me when communication is important and a key element that any hotel of any quality would prioritize. I immediately gathered all of my luggage and told the woman at the front desk my concerns of safety and she told me to call Brittany on Monday for a refund with a phone number to call (I trusted her customer service and now realize this was not going to be taken care of in such a manner.) When I called for an appropriate refund, the man Pri on the phone chose to not give me any names of people I can talk to and told me I am not going to be granted a refund.The customer service and quality is horrible. Rarely do I write reviews, but this experience was so significant I feel it is important to express to others what is occurring. Action has been taken on my end for appropriate refund. Do you as a company not recognize the value of customer service?

Dont mind the messy bed, it was made when I came in. The rooms are modern and amazing. The staff is friendly, they are currently remodeling but other than a little bit in the front area you wouldnt know it, it is so quiet and peaceful. Definately recommend staying. Maybe 2 minute drive to choctaw and so much better. I didnt even get into the breakfast area...which is awesome as well. Thank you Hy-lo for having my mother (who is soooo picky) and I stay with you. I would definately stay here again.Rooms: Rooms are modern and just down right amazing.Noteworthy details: The floor heaters, the controls are on the walls and not the heaters anymote. Instead of using a plastic do not disturb sign on the door handle there are switches you can use to either "Tidy up" or "Peace and Quiet) there are shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower. Your room is provided with a fridge, microwave, desk and loveseat. The lighting that is provided is just amazing, each side of the bed has its own light. The TV's are good sized and mounted on the wall.

Booked a honeymoon suite. Upon check in we got our room keys. There was a toilet brush left in the elevator with some rags. Apparently house keeping leaves all the rooms open after they clean them. We got to our room and it was NOT the honeymoon suite I had booked. I went down stairs and all she could tell me was that they over booked….. how can you over book when there are only a few select rooms to book? She gave me a $20 refund thats it. No explanation no apology. Not happy. Terrible service and it’s definitely not as nice as the pictures online. Would not recommend to anyone.

Everything was great till time to get the morning started. Breakfast was not there , lights out, nothing ready. Breakfast stated served at 6am-9am, we were downstairs by 6:30; looked like a ghost town. Doors locked to the outside in main lobby , we had to go out the kitchen door. Elevator broke so we had to take three flights of stairs down to main lobby (carrying our luggage) as there was no carts available due to main lobby being locked. Also, where there was no attendant. Just a sign.... Had us put down a $150 deposit because we booked the room online. When we called the number to get the deposit back, we were told that the girl called in at 4am. So the mgr had more than enough time to get another attendant or come in himself to accommodate the hotels promise to their guests. Highly inconvenient, unprofessional and not concerned about guests. Although, rooms were clean and they had cable; we won't be staying here again!!

Got there, and no one was at the front desk, we waited about 10 min for someone to come up. She came, and I expected to be greeted with "sorry about the wait" or something like that but nothing. Got my room, walked up, and the room was not cleaned; it looked like someone checked out that morning, and they never cleaned the room. I walked down to the front desk again and told the lady that the room was dirty, and she said, "Okay." Once again, there was no apology or nothing. This place has potential, but the worst customer service and dirty rooms are not going to help. The video I am adding is the 1st room that we walked into, and the picture is the 2nd room they gave us, as you can see, the pillows are all over the bed. We wanted to stay near the casino, and all other hotels were booked, so this was my only choice.

100% would not recommend.The building is in terrible shape. The elevator did not go all the way to the 3rd floor and gave us a scare when it slammed down on the 1st floor when we were checking out. While the pictures look like the building was updated recently, the finishes were cheap and did not hold up. Also, the building has not been properly maintained or cleaned. There are lots of smells, visible dirt, and worn or missing carpet/tile/fixtures.

Not a bad motel when your working out of town , but when you make a nightly price agreement with the manager.And he trys to overcharge you ever time. That is wrong. Won't be back .Use expedia to save yourself money.And also have not received payment for a over charge and for nights I canceled.So to add to this review. It's been 2 weeks since I left this place, and I still have not received the money for the night I canceled.Have a receipt showing the refund , but you will not receive it. Be causes if you go here they will screw you

I’m checking out shortly but didn’t want to forget a review. This was a great experience. It’s a typical motel but the price is great, it’s extremely clean, and Pri at the front desk is the nicest guy. I only stayed for a night but he learned my name and took extra time to ask me how things were going and if everything was ok etc. I’ve never had that happen at a motel before. I make this commute often. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was decorated with modern furniture and details. The shower did have some mildew but otherwise was clean and inviting. Right around the corner from the casino and easy to get to. It did take a week to receive my deposit back, but when I had called about it earlier in the week, the person I spoke with was very understanding and explained it was due to their credit card vendor. I know this to be true because I've worked in retail before and some vendors are much slower than others to give refunds. Overall, I was really happy with my stayRooms: The bed was luxurious and very comfortable. Spacious with modern furniture. Smelled fresh and clean. Overall experience was overall from the time we walked in the lady behind the desk was sleeping and had to be awaken. Rooms were in disgusting shape with stains on bed sheets and crumbs everywhere in the floor. Didn’t even end up staying the night but now they want to charge us for two different rooms. 0/5 if I could’ve. Awful management awful service

Just got here but already giving it 5 stars. The front desk clerk was very professional. Allowed me to check in 3 hours early, no charge. Other hotels wanted to charge $50. When you drive for work and camp in vehicle on occasion, it's nice to get your room early for the next day so you can get a shower in, use the microwave, and get your tasks for the day started. Other hotels said I would need to wait until 1pm, even though they said they had rooms available that weren't used the day before. A little common sense and customer service goes a long way. Thank you.(Also the furniture and amenities in the room look brand new, high quality too!)

I should've read the reviews before booking it. We actually didn't experience anything bad at the hotel other than the construction. However, they did charge the $150 deposit and based on other people's experiences, not looking good that I will get that back. **** I see huge potential for this place. Yes, they have work to do but they did respond to my issue and followed through. Like I said before, we had a great experience here and I would stay, and recommend people to stay here again. ****

How anyone gives this place a 5 star is beyond me. It was disgusting, dirtiest hotel room I have ever been in, the whole building has stains on floors (like SO MANY), stains on walls and ceilings, bathrooms are gross, paint splashes, dust and drywall putty on furniture and decor, and flooring that is torn and coming up through out. Weird face decor in the room so if you have kids they're going to be freaked out by the paintings on the wall stairing at them all night. Elevator buttons and signs are all cracked and broken, there is visible trash and water damage around the outside. The location is next to a train track so be prepared to be woken up all night. The place smells and just seems like the owners do not care. I got this room for free using booking points and still feel jipped. Oh yeah and what others said, there's a 150 deposit. Service was friendly, only reason for higher than 1 star score.

The outside of the building is odd and the inside even odder but it’s great, it’s got a bear, eyes, a water fountain and it all may not go together but it’s oddly great. Their complementary breakfast is a hidden gem I’ve been to a lot of small hotels but this one you can’t beat with the price, breakfast and the rooms are not quite bad.Noteworthy details: It looks odd from outside but it’s great if you want a cheap apartment to be able to just go tot the casino from there. Big thumbs up with their breakfast complimentary, best small hotel that I have ever stayed in.

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), hotels are not allowed to charge ANY extra fees or deposits for guests with service animals.Don't stay here if you have a service animal. They're not aware of ADA laws.Fortunately, I made the reservation through Expedia, and they refunded my payment. They contacted the hotel first, and the front desk clerk LIED to them, saying the "fee" they were charging was for incidentals and it would be refunded at checkout, when that is absolutely not what we were told. Even so, they are legally not allowed to charge ANY fees, refundable or not. The hotel did not approve a refund, but I'm thankful for Expedia understanding that service animals are exempt from fees and giving me a refund anyway.I can't believe hotels STILL do not understand these laws. It's disgraceful.

First let me say the front desk employee that was working when we checked in was very kind. But the shower has mold in it, the floors in our room are sticky and there are stains on the carpet and there is some kind of ick in the circle that you open the bathroom door. The tv is stuck on a channel that is selling rare coins. When I asked about it the front desk employee gave me a pink sticky note with instructions, told me to take a picture of it and see if it works.Of course it didn't so I relaxed by watching Hulu on my phone.

Convenient to the overpriced casino! Not sure if they were actively remodeling or never finished, but half the carpeting was missing, and a large portion of the new flooring appeared to be installed poorly. Had an issue with TV, front desk offered no help, Shower could have been cleaner bit of mildew building up. Exterior lights were not on or working when the sunset, made the parking lot feel unsafe, gave the hotel a sketchy vibe

My experience at this hotel was wonderful by all measures. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with simplicity and warmth by the friendly staff the room was clean and remarkably comfortable, and the interior design reflected a refined taste. The service was prompt and attentive, and the restaurant offered delicious and diverse dishes. Additionally, the location is excellent with easy access to many tourist attractions In short, it was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler seeking a distinctive stay

We mainly chose the location because it was close to the casino, but STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! We stayed there 2 nights in May, we checked in the afternoon. Honestly, I would have looked over the fact that they are renovating and had a clear leak problem in the entrance but not even getting a proper hello? customer service much?. It was not until we got to the actual desk that we were even acknowledged where the receptionist looked annoyed that me and my partner interrupted her phone scrolling. She half explained the $150.00 deposit requirement, which by the way I did not receive until the 31st after 4 calls and one to my bank! So be ready to not need your deposit for at least 15 days. The first floor had a wet smell from the towels they had to help with the leak. I had to take pictures of the walls as soon as we walked in for both the room and the bathroom because I wanted to avoid the blame and not get my deposit back. Bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. I asked about the ice machine and it was broken, again she acted annoyed that I came down to ask. I was at least woken up by the fire alarm at 9 am on BOTH days, which resulted in me going down for breakfast. Make your own waffles sounds nice when staff at least greats you... but that was not the case.Rooms: dirty walls!

Our room’s toilet wouldn’t flush, and there wasn’t a phone in the room, so I went downstairs and told the lady working the front desk that the toilet wouldn’t flush, and she said she was going to get a plunger for me. I told her that I wasn’t going to plunge the toilet, and she said to me, “well, I’m not going to plunge the toilet.“ I said, well, we have a problem. I suggested that she give me another room, and she did.Both rooms looked like someone had been sitting or laying on the bed. The room we ended up with had a used bath towel in there, and no other bath towels. The floor was filthy. The whole place smelled of marijuana.The one positive I can say about this place is the bed was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, that is not going to be enough for me to return to the Hy-Lo Hotel.
