Probably one of the most peaceful and best wineries we have visited so far. The owners are the nicest people on earth that make some of the best wine (blackberry and elderberry is spot on) me and my wife tried in a while! Definitely would recommend this gem of a place to anybody that passes through the area or who just wants to relax and enjoy some quality time with their partner or friends. I would give 10/5 rating if I was allowed! Even though it is located 1.5 hours from where we live, I am not against taking a nice drive to enjoy this awesome place again! P.S. doggies and donkeys are also very friendly :)

This was a great stop!! Hubby and I found it not far from Durant, OK during a weekend getaway. I'm not a wine drinker but knew my hubby would like it. The customer service was excellent. Got to talk to one of the owners, W.H., and he told us about his process for crafting such a great tasting wine and how he started out making beers. We tasted the Tickle Me Peach Chardonnay, Strawberry Blonde White Zinfandel, Summer Breeze Watermelon White Merlot, and Pleasant Hill Green Apple Riesling. We bought 2 bottles each of the first 3!! Because the Peach was so great, hubby bought a 3rd!! Excellent flavor and aroma. Simply fantastic!! A must stop!!

Keep following the GPS don’t worry it may look sketchy but it will lead you to a great winery! Tina will greet you when you walk in😀! The wine is great! Start off with the Bissa Sipokni, hang out outside our near the pond. It’s a nice spot to hang out before going to the Casino!

Amazing wine and views! We unknowingly showed up during one of their quarterly events, so we got our bottle and went outside to their beautiful seating area. I am so glad we did! The wine is always good, but the view from outside was the real hero of the night. Even with the event they checked on us several times and made sure we were taken care of. We walked over and we're able to pet the donkeys and horse and if the neighbor's dog T-Rex is around he loves a good back or belly rub. If you are anywhere near this place stop in and enjoy some wine and down time!

We enjoyed our Saturday afternoon visit to this lovely place on our trip!Although most of the wines were sweeter than we normally like, we liked their Crimson Sunrise and brought some home! Our tasting server was very pleasant and helpful, too!

Oh my lord what a great experience I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place while looking for something for me and my fiance to do for her birthday weekend during our stay in Durant. I must say what a great time we had with Kyle and Aubrey. We had the whole place to ourselves this past Saturday and let me tell you they did not disappoint us at all. They were very knowledgeable about the business and they showed us around also. We enjoyed the pretzels and the snacks they had available while we sampled some amazing wine.... we ended up buying 3 bottles on the way out and left with a new favorite place to visit. They were such a delight on such an important day. They really made my fiance's birthday a joy..... we will 1000% be back. If you are going to Choctaw, in Durant Oklahoma, or just passing through definitely stop at BLUE RIVER VALLEY WINERY it is a hidden gem.......

My husband and I visited for the first time yesterday, we were staying close by at Choctaw. What a gem this little place is! The wine was just incredible. The owners were so sweet and welcoming. They took great care of us. We tasted about 12 wines and they were all amazing. Unique flavors and very refreshing. We left with a whole case! A great experience I’d recommend it anyone. We’ll be back!

My wife and I really enjoyed this winery....we each did some tastings that we shared....the owner is very knowledgeable and makes sure you understand what to expect and why. We did not have a bad wine. Some were not necessarily our preferred taste but we're still good enough to drink if someone else brought the bottle. We left with four bottles and would have taken more if I had my say ....good people and great wine.

My husband and I really enjoyed this winery. The wine was delicious! If you want blackberry wine, you got it! If you want strawberry, blueberry or green apple, you got it! We love going to wineries and this one had the best tasting wine I’ve ever found! We bought 2 cases! The owners were friendly and Diane made us feel right at home!

This is my favorite winery in Oklahoma. You are making a mistake if you don't stop here any time you are in Southeastern Oklahoma! They have a great selection and the prices are unbeatable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They also offer appetizers and gift items. This place is perfect for the casual customer and experienced wine lover!

Delicious wines with many varieties to taste. There is truly something for everyone. Also everyone is a VIP at Blue River Valley Winery, you will feel like part of the family. It also doesnt hurt that the location has a fantastic panoramic view of the countryside.

This place is awesome. We were able to do a wine tasting and then sit and have a glass of wine with a plate of crackers and cream cheese raspberry chiplote cream cheese. The atmosphere is awesome and relaxing. We walked away with three bottles of wine and experience we will be coming back to enjoy.

I have never been a wine drinker until 3 or 4 months ago , I was out looking and wanted to change my hard drinking to a nice wine . So here I am at a liquor store looking at other people looking over the types of wine there buying ,this couple picked up two bottles of blue valley river so I said well I’ll try it as well , I pretty much went through about four different flavors until I found the one I like the most . Then I was told that Blue Valley was right up the road . Im sure to go out today and meet these fine peoples .

I understand the annoyance of phone calls that come off as “requesting free money”…. we all get them by the hundreds monthly. However, when local student organizations try to call requesting just a spot to perform live music to offer FREE tunes to bring a crowd (to your place of business which I would think would provide you revenue) In hopes of raising money for a project that Cardinal Key brings to the table every SE Homecoming, maybe consider not hanging up rudely an acting like the phone call dropped before the group can request the spot to perform for a good cause… It shows a lot of community pride/spirit by just listening and then politely saying we aren’t interested In your offer to not only help us bring people in but have our name attached to a great cause (Research on Juvenile Diabetes I didn’t get that out in time before the hang up)… This is just a thought since your in an area big on local pride and traditions.
