The man who runs it is very nice. He also runs the restaurant and store. There is a lot of history there. More people should go see this place. I myself will be going back.

Would like to try again when mans is having a better day. I don't know if his cook quit or something. He was the only one working so feels bad man. Waited an hour and a half for two omelettes. We were suppose to get biscuits and gravy but when we got one omelette he said he could throw gravy on toast. Waited 10 more minutes for the other omelette. In the restaurant there was us two and a table of three in the restaurant. He also had two to go orders that he worked on. Food was alright, wasn't worth the wait though.

Excellent. Great southern cooking. Wife and I had the breakfast bowl and neither one of us could finish it. Our ticket was just a little over $14.00. If we are in the area again, we know where we will be eating.

The food is excellent. They only had 1 staff doing everything, so it was a leisurely breakfast. the 3 of us were in no hurry, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. If your a neat freak, close your eyes and enjoy the food.

This place is the best to eat around the Wichitas in my opinion. Home cooking and comfort food. Breakfast or lunch has always been a hit. The people are very attentive and deliver a delicious meal to your table in no time. Never had to wait, always a table open. I always have to stop there before or after a hike. Enjoy!

Definitely some of the best fries I’ve had in years! A perfect place to stop to by! The owner was very kind and made a comfortable environment for me and my friends. They also had a cute dog :)

I live nearby this place. This is one of those hole in the wall places that are slow yet great food. We had the French toast and bacon here and it was filling. It could use some cleaning of certain areas but the kitchen did look pretty clean. Just other areas such as the swamp cooler ac thing they have in there and could use some updating possibly. The customer service was ok as he was very busy but he did great on his own. I recommend this place for a breakfast in town.

From giant pancakes to well cooked burgers and french fries this is one of the best, my personal favorite for a good burger. The owner also does the cooking and waits the tables so he's working very hard to serve people. And when I say giant pancakes if you can down two then you brought an appetite with you.

The owner, Wayne Gipson, was very nice. He told us all about the place. His father and mother built it over 40 years ago. The place was not the type of place I would usually go into, but it was well worth it for the food and history lesson.

Proper COVID safety measures, every other table was blocked off and the one employee I saw wore a mask. Wait was long but breakfast was good and inexpensive. Accepts credit card.

Very cool to look through, but VERY pricey. Even though it was closed when we came, the owners were willing to give us a chance to go through, and were honest about what was working and what was there for atmosphere.
