One of the bigger/nicer options in the area. The prices of the fresh produce were higher than expected, and the selection was smaller than expected, but this was still the biggest actual grocery store we could find. They did well with my son’s birthday cake.

Neat small town grocery, reminds me of a lot of grocers from back in the 80’s. Pretty good selection from what I saw. I don’t think they sell alcohol, which may be a McCurtain County law. Checkout girl wasn’t very friendly despite me trying to be extra friendly to everybody, particularly understanding that I’m a tourist in a tourist town. Oh well, I understand the tourists probably aren’t there favorite people. 🤷

Very well organized, the employees who were stocking were very friendly and helpful. The cashier's we're a little rude and acted like they had better things to be doing, but otherwise All in all a lovely grocery store that has everything you need.

Had everything we needed and wanted. Easy to shop. Great quality.Crowded aisles, almost claustrophobia inducing.Tip: go pick up a "Hachi Hachi" meal on your way home (aka/or vacation rental) it's nearby & so good!

They don't sell alcohol, but plenty of liquor stores and other places for that. Store is immaculately clean, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices are high, but average for a tourist area.

This place is a really bad store to go to. First off the lighting inside is very dim and not bright and vibrant. Also when we went there was a very bad smell inside that was not pleasant and it made the best experience worse. The environment was just bad. We only went to get cilantro but man this was really bad. You would do better going to Walmart that is not far from here then this place. Nobody is happy working here and it sucked to shop inside. I implore you not to go and shop here until they fix many problems that this place has.

Great place to stop and get some food if you're driving through town. The ribs and sweet potatoe mash are hot and ready to go! Parking lot needs to be paved. Bathroom smelled like weed and was not clean.

I recently stopped in to purchase a few items because I wanted to try another store other than Walmart. The prices are relative (perhaps a little more than Walmart for some items) but fairly easy to get through the aisles.I admired the layout of their produce section and they offered a nice selection to choose from of fruits and veggies. I would recommend as a nice alternative if you’re or near the area.

Not real sure what is going on at this store. They have ALWAYS been priced like the elite shop there and one day this week, an elderly woman sent her attendant to the grocery and gave her the food stamp card. They humiliated the woman saying there was no money on it and treating her badly . She went back to the woman's home and they called the number to see how much she had on the card. The full amount was on the card.Tonight, I was not feeling well and ordered mashed potatoes. They offered gravy, I said separately would be fine. I'm charged 99 cents for the gravy. Young girl tells me if it was in the potatoes I would not be charged. I said then I want them in the potatoes. She made a face at me and informed me it was only 99 cents. I told her she could pay it then. I immediately went to Tony who said he was a manager and followed me over to the deli to show him who it was. I was willing to wait on her to come out so I could point her out and he said he would figure it out. I may feel differently later but I felt dismissed and like he was not really going to do anything. I was not aware it was up to the employees to tell me where to save a dollar and where to be frivolous. They wouldn't be there without customers and that doesn't seem to be a concern lately.I am not from here and I won't probably stay long so I can say the things locals won't say outloud. Apparently pruitts is paying employees too well if a dollar is something they are comfortable judging a customer over.

Visited the day before thanksgiving and was very surprised at just how much they had that was fresh and in stock!We will definitely be visiting again when we go back to Broken Bow!

Weird layout of store. They had plenty of items, but they were difficult to find. Milk was in one area, butter was in an aisle that seemed more akin to freezer section, and cheese was on other side of store with produce.

Pruett’s Grocery store is more about convenience than anything else. The parking lot is difficult to navigate, the store is dark and uninviting, and the prices are a little ridiculous. There is no way that the locals shop here.But this store has location, location, location, and it’s the most well stocked store before hitting the cabins of Broken Bow/Hochatown. I highly recommend doing your non-perishable shopping prior to getting on the road, and using Pruett’s for things like dairy and frozen goods. It is only 15-20 minutes from the cabin area, and you would pay even more at random stores once you get closer, but this is not where ANYONE should do the bulk of their shopping… 💸

Pruett’s Food is a great local grocery store in Broken Bow. They have a great selection of fresh produce and meats too. Even when it seems busy you really do t wait in line very long at all. The staff is friendly and helpful too. We haven’t had a chance to try the fried chicken from their deli but there always seems to be a line to buy it, so it must be great! Prices on everything is pretty reasonable as well.It’s a full service grocery store that has everything you need whether you are in town vacationing or you live here locally.

This grocery store is a life saver when you’re visiting the area. Went to the big box store and they have nothing as for as groceries. Pruett’s had everything that I needed and more. Found some peach whiskey preserves and when I say delicious, it was delicious. My only gripe is the prices but I guess I can’t expect them to be the same as another state. Nevertheless, stop here and shop for your food when staying.

If you're visiting Brokenbow and need groceries don't go to Walmart go here. Got some amazing New York strips here for a great price.
