A very clean, affordable motel located across from the entrance to Beaver's Bend State Park. The staff were accommodating and our room was clean and comfortable.Only a few recommendations...that they add curtains, our room had only vertical blinds which were somewhat worn meaning not all of slats worked which allowed a little too much light from the outside come in early in the morning...and perhaps breached our privacy a bit. And perhaps a few hand towels. The provided paper towels was very much appreciated though.Our room had a coffee pot, coffee, microwave, frig and tv.Nearby activities: Beaver's Bend State Park and the Talamena Trail

This is not a bad place to stay, but in my opinion it is overpriced. It's well taken care of, and the staff is always very friendly, but it's a motel reminiscent of where you stayed at with your parents in the 90's on your way to Branson but with a fresh remodel.I realize that the entire area has become pretty expensive, but at $180 a night it is missing some things. Curtains for one. You could read a book at night with the light that comes in through the mini blinds from the well lit exterior. Also there is no breakfast. There is a dinning area, but I've never seen it used.Air BnB's have completely overrun the area so if you're there for business there really isn't a great option for one night hotel lodging so I will stay here again, but for the price it could be better.

The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The towels were thick and fluffy, and there was good water pressure in the shower. Enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely stay again.Nearby activities: Trail rides, go carts, zip lines, and other fun things.

Wish I could give the rooms 4.5 stars; the first one we were given had a couple of issues, the second room was a great improvement. I give all the credit for a great stay to Justice who was manning the front desk; a sweet young lady who does more than check you in and out. Thank you Justice, it was great meeting you!Location is perfect, nearby shops, restaurants, and more.Nearby activities: Putt-Putt, bowling, water activities, hiking, good food.

We made a weekend getaway to Broken Bow to drive Talimena Drive. Long story short my husband accidentally booked our cabin for Dec 11th instead of November 11th. So we were scrounging to find a place to stay, we disnt get into town until after dark. Hochatown Lodge had one queen room left so we grabbed it. We got room 206. At first look of the room, it seemed ok... smelled clean. But after closer investigation there looked to be dried blood wiped on the wall, dried vomit on the sitting chair, and mold growing in the ceiling. We really didn't have much choice to stay. We slept with out clothes on bcuz we were a little scared if the sheets had even been washed. The matress was hard as a rock, bit the pillows were nice. Another postive was the water pressure. The room could have been nice if it was clean.

I’m still waiting for a refund from two weeks ago when I stayed there. While the owners can’t be blamed for the storm that rolled through while we were there I did have an issue. Once the storm came in the ceiling in the room started leaking & upon check in there was a strong odor like someone had spilled a whole bottle of cologne. I did advise the front desk of both issues & was informed I would receive a partial refund. I have called three separate times & each time was told they would get back to me. I’ve yet to hear back.Rooms: Would have been better if the ceiling hadn’t started leaking

My husband just wanted a one night getaway. Hochatown, in general, has way overpriced lodging. In this economy, I am sure they will eventually feel the results of charging such high prices. Found this "Lodge" for ~$170. Ok, we felt that was ok. Well, apparently it is owned by slum lords...inside and out side the doors are filthy. There appears to be a full sized bedspread on a king sized with no bedskirt. The bottom mattress is showing. Lampshades with yellow stains on them. Two towels, two washcloths, no hand towels or a bath mat. No bath mat seems a little risky for someone falling and breaking a hip on a wet floor.Who owns this joint? I certainly did not feel like I was in a lodge.....whatever. Disappointed to say the least. They obviously care very little what their customers think.

We have stayed here in December and again in January while in town for business, each time extended our trip 1 - 2 days with no issue from the staff. (It's not tourist season so that might not be the case once the weather warms up) This is nested within 10 - 15 minutes of dining, local shopping, family activities, cocktails, etc. The turn off to the state park is a stones throw from the front of the lodge.Our room was spotless and smelled fresh as soon as you walk in the door. The pillows are wonderful, beds neat and tidy. I find it difficult to book a room in a small town lodge because it is hit or miss but this was perfect!If you are looking for 5 star luxury this is probably not for you but if you like small town lodges with friendly staff, this is a great spot on the map to rest your head. Enjoy!

Very nice hotel/cabin feel. Front desk does close at midnight and doesn't open til 8:00 I believe. There is a pool but it's not very big. No diving board and 5ft is a deep as it gets. They need fold out layout chairs instead of a very few sitting chairs. There is no protection or shade from the sun, not one table with umbrella out there. There is a huge gathering area right across the pool. It's clean and stays booked. Everyone is always nice and fun to meet.

Had an issue with being charged for damage that occurred after we checked out. However, the owner called me personally and made it right. This is a quaint little hotel that is a bit rustic, a bit old school. But its a nice place to relax, and is so close to the Beaver Bend Park that it might as well be part of it.Nearby activities: Beaver Bend State Park is just a few miles down the road.

We stayed there march 18. After coming back to our room for the night I noticed the dead bolt did not lock. And the door had been kicked it at one time and not repaired. I called the fron desk and was told they were booked up and no other room. I said I would be ok. I was armed and put the dresser infront of the door while we slept. There was only 4 cars in the back so hard to believe they had no rooms. I asked for management to call me when we checked out and never a call. I do plan on some more trips to Broken Bow but don’t think I will stay here. Also like someone else said they give hand towels not real towels.

Came to town for a school organization. Brought 21 students from ages 13-17 with me and this was our experience with the lodge.Day 1Awesome! No issues at all. Bath tubs are large. Kids loved the pool. No breakfast but not a big deal to me.Day 2Pretty much the same experience until this group staying in the hotel begins to hit on our 15 year old girls. The same group parties until 2 am. I called management three times about this group. The first time she says “I’ll do my rounds in a second” second time she says “I’ll tell them again” on third time, SHE TELLS ME TO CALL THE POLICE! This kids don’t get to get out much to begin with and there experience was ruined because this hotel refused to take actions. Ridiculous.

Not only does a few extremely rude and unorganized very young ladies run the entire thing! The walls are paper thin, you hear every single thing from each side of you, behind you, and even below you! There is trash and old furniture laying around everywhere. The beds are horrible, wifi and the pool never worked the 3 + months I was there. It's unfortunate that this is one of your better options out this way! I can honestly say after spending over 8k with this hotel, it is by far the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with in many years of traveling with work!The new kid came to my room at 2pm on a Friday and informed us that she rented our room out, after the manager confirmed with us that we would be there for 2 more months at the least!When my husband went to the office to discuss with Candice their previous conversation they just had, she stated "sir I don't have time to argue with you" right in front of other customers! I was appalled! Honestly could not believe the way these girls talk to people. Also how inconsiderate it was to leave us in a tough unexpected position by telling us one thing and doing another when we had been great guests? WOW! I must add, on a positive note! The housekeepers were amazing! They are far more friendly and professional than the rest of the staff.

We stayed here awhile back because we could not camp out at Beavers Bend State Park as planned. Of course it was not the same as camping in the outdoors, but was definitely a nice location for a Plan B. The first room they booked us with, when we got to the room it was a disaster area. I am guessing maybe they had started cleaning the room and got called away and forgot to go back LOL. When we addressed it with the front desk clerk she apologized greatly and gave us another room. The room was spacious, clean, & the front desk clerk was very courteous. Upsetting that we could not use the grill to grill our trout, because it looked like there was a big hole in the bottom, but we took it home for later. The pool was not open during our visit due to Covid, but we were able to practice social distancing by sitting on the front porch in front of our room to eat our dinner. I gave it 3 stars because the interior rooms are a little outdated, and our toilet paper holder kept falling out of the wall. With a little more updating, this could be a great place! We will stay here again when in the area.

Awful experience. We are here for a family reunion with about 25 other rooms in our party. I confirmed TWICE as recently as 4 days ago that my 2 rooms adjoined. When I arrived to check in I was given 2 rooms across the lot from each other. I reminded them of the rooms I had by number and got a shrug and 'they aren't available.' Apparently, the day after I confirmed, my rooms were given to separate parties. I asked if I could offer money to the mistaken occupants to switch and was brushed off because they don't feel like cleaning the rooms for a switch. A refund was the only solution given. After being told repeatedly that they don't have any other options, I booked a cabin nearby only to learn from other family that they would switch to accommodate our original request because, unlike I was told, there are plenty of unoccupied rooms next to each other. A mistake is forgivable. Doubling down with apathy and laziness is inexcusable.

The lodge was fun and clean. The price is little high for what I received. Very basic and outdated room. No breakfast is BEING served. The website said it include breakfast. I would check with the room before pay since some front door to the room is NOT wheelchair/walker accessible since their outside decking floor is rotting where there may be 2 to 4 inches gap off the door steps. Great location. Close to many fun attraction. Nice two lawn chairs outside on porch is a plus.

It’s what you would expect for the price. A pretty standard motel. The water pressure I. The shower was great. The free breakfast was canceled due to COVID, so you’d think that after two years, the would take the breakfast off of the description. We stayed in the lower section, which is not what I would prefer if I ever stay there again. The parking lot was muddy and covered in cigarette butts.

We really liked it. The staff were courteous and fast. Our room was really nice and clean. The bed was firm yet soft. The morning breakfast selection was good: cereals, breads and bagels, yogurts, and even some booked eggs and microwave sausage biscuits. Plus, it is located right near everything fun. We will stay there next time!

My family was staying the night in broken bow for a memorial service. We checked in around 5 pm and the front desk lady was not super friendly. She was very short with me and seemed to be bothered that we were checking in. We got to the room and I was very surprised! The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. The bath tub was really nice and perfect for the kids to bathe in cause it was larger then other tubs. There was a long deck all around the rooms with outside seating and tables. A large covered picnic area with seating and a barbeque. There was also a pool but it was closed due to the season. The next morning we had breakfast and it was amazing! They had little microwaveable biscuit and sausage sandwiches,fruit,waffles,cereal, bagels and drinks. Nice spot right across the street from beaver creek park. We will definitely be staying again!

Nice hotel with clean rooms, but I would suggest bringing your own pillows if you like them firm. They provide 4 for each bed but they are all super squishy-not necessarily a bad thing. The towels could use some upgrades to larger ones, but they still aren’t horrible. The parking lot on the other hand- that can be a nightmare. It’s pretty small and looks like there used to be some slanted lines painted to park in. Now however, there are only the curbs to keep you from going forward, but they are turned straight. If a few vehicles park straight like that it’s a nightmare to try and park yourself or to try and get out due to very narrow driveways.Over all it was a good stay, just a few small issues I found. The parking lot definitely needs to be address though with some lines painted to make it easier, preferably not making people park straight but at an angle. Would not recommend bring a large vehicle.

The service was great. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel/lodge had spider webs and spiders in each corner of our room. There was broken glass on the grass of the facility in front of our room, we have three little kids so it was a bit concerning. The lighting in our room was very dim it felt like we were sleeping in a cave. The price was high for what we got, I expected more for what what we paid for...

I had read these reviews and just knew that the New Hochatown Lodge was going to be the best place for my mom & I to stay. Unfortunately, upon arrival we were told the "cable" was out and they are STILL NOT serving breakfast or coffee due to Covid. 🙄 That's a really bad excuse since all the restaurants are open in Hochatown!! You need to update this info on your website! Next, my mother could not find a blanket to go with her "pancake" pillows. BETTER BRING YOUR OWN!! At 12:00 a.m. we were both hot but could not get the a/c unit to work. We actually were yelled out by our adjoining room guests because we were awake @ midnight!! My mom did not sleep a wink on your terrible mattress in room 102. I awoke to find your blow dryer did not work! Really!!?? $156 for this?? We will definitely rent a cabin next time!

I knew based off of the pictures that it wouldn’t be great, but I didn’t expect this. First of all, we were the only people checked in and it was in the middle of summer. The doors to the rooms are extremely hard to unlock, but I considered that to be a very minor issue compared to the other things. People in the reviews said it was very clean but it definitely was not. Everything looked and smelled run down. There were dead bugs in the corner of my parents’ room. The toilet in our room didn’t flush and I saw another review saying their toilet didn’t flush, so I think we had the same room. But they posted their review in February so there’s no excuse for it to not have gotten fixed. The WiFi was absolutely horrible, the bathroom locks didn’t work in either room, the live tv in our room didn’t work, the bed was broken in my parents room, the towel rack fell off the wall, and there was a huge wasp nest right in front of our doors so we could barely get in. We told the people in the office about the wasps and they sprayed it a little and then walked away. My dad had to knock the nest down and buy some spray to take care of the rest. My family did more to help out this place than the maintenance people. Worst of all, there were red spots of something in my parents’ bathtub. The office worker swore it was paint, but the walls, ceiling, and floors weren’t red so I don’t know where red paint would’ve come from.
