Such a fun place, we took our pups and sat on the cute back patio. Everyone was so sweet from the hostess to the waitress. Meet the owner and he was just the kindest man, and fun. We visited for awhile. The little gift shop and toy store is just the cutest they have old toys to just random fun stuff. Julie that works there is just a sweetheart and so helpful. We will definitely be coming back. This a must if your near the area.Kid-friendliness: Kids everywhere and a fun toy shopWheelchair accessibility: A ramp to everything

Today was our first time visiting the Grateful Head Pizza Oven. We got here shortly after they opened and where seated immediately. My wife and I really loved the old fashioned feeling of the restaurant. We ordered the cheese styx and they were some of the best I have ever had. They were very cheesy and crispy. They were very popular due to most other tables around us also ordered them too. We ordered 1 pizza and split it and the pizza was great. Lots of toppings and fresh. The crust was amazing. So much food we had to take some back with us. As we left we noticed the amount of people waiting and still coming in to eat. Next door were two different gift shops. One was a pretty standard gift shop and the other had all Greatful Dead pizza gifts. Alot of cool shirts and other items. We bought my daughter a cool Greatful Head Pizza shirt which she loved due to it being similar to a Greatful Dead themed shirt. Greatful Head Pizza is in a great location. The parking lot is big, but filled up quickly with customers. We will definitely be back the next time we are back in town. A unique pizza establishment with great food. 👍

Some of the yymmiest pizza I’ve eaten! They could do a half/half for me and my husband ( I’m vegetarian) however did have a nice size and yummy vegan opt ( you can ask for no cheese if dairy free is in your dietary needs) try the treehugger my friend had she said it was the best she had ( she is vegan) we were a group of 7 and everyone’s bill was even number… if that makes sense! Nobody was complaining… we are actually recommended our other friend to stop in they’ll be camping around the area!Parking: Nice large parking lot shared with other shops.

We were recommended this spot by a tour guide who claimed it to be the best pizza in Broken Bow. However, we found the pizza to be very mediocre. It was comparable to Dominos, which would’ve been much cheaper and much faster. The cheese styxs were good, but not spectacular. However, we enjoyed the ranch and marinara dips that came along with the cheese styxs. Service was pretty slow and inattentive since it was so crowded. Also, it’s definitely on the pricier side (our large pizza totaled to $31). It’s a decent spot, but we likely won’t be back.

After waiting over an hour for a table, our group of 4 was taken to the outside patio in February (it was in the mid or lower 30s outside). We asked the host if we could wait for the next available indoor table. He told us that we specifically requested the patio table and that to get an inside table, we would have to put our name on the list again, which would be another hour or more. To be clear, we never requested the patio table and we were never asked our preference. We were hungry so we just sat, but it was really cold and uncomfortable- even in our winter jackets. There were some heaters, but not enough to make it comfortable in winter. Our group ordered 2 pizzas, and one was gluten-free. When our server delivered the pizzas, she recognized that it wasn't made gluten free. She set down the other pizza on the table and returned about 15 minutes later with the GF pizza. Our party of 4 didn't eat together because our food was delivered 15 minutes apart and we didn't want the first pizza to sit out and get cold. Nevertheless, it got cold quickly anyway because of the circumstances of the freezing cold patio.Lastly, the pizza just wasn't very good. It was very wet, so the toppings slid around, and it felt undercooked overall. The bottom of it has no integrity, the cheese was just barely melted, and it was very white- no browning or even yellowing of the cheese or bread. If it wasn't such an expensive pizza, I wouldn't point it out in the review, but in reality, Dominos probably makes a better pizza and it wouldn't cost $30 for one large pizza. Look at the picture for yourself and determine if you would wait over an hour to pay $30 for it... I won't be doing it again.Overall, we had a poor experience and ate subpar food, so we won't be returning. For reference 4 beers, 2 pizzas, and 1 appetizer was $103 before adding a tip, and one of the pizzas was a smallDietary restrictions: Has gluten-free pizza

So, the food, service, and atmosphere were great. I had to knock it one mark for the bathrooms. They had several options on pizza and beverages. The pizza had fresh ingredients, which is what certainly took it over the top. See the photos, but we had the veggie, supreme, pepperoni, and cheese. No complaints and nothing but compliments. We'll make this a regular stop when in town.

We come here every time we visit. Chill atmosphere and great food. We had super cheesy cheese styxs with flavorful marinara. We all had a salad which was fresh and delicious, but extremely small for $8. We had the Pig Pen and Casey Jones. The pizza was amazing; as usual! You get a free cup with drink purchase. They offer a wide range of local beer. Can’t wait to return!

Gluten free pizza options! We were so excited that Grateful Head Pizza had gluten free crust as an option. It was super taste. We had to wait about 30-45 minutes for a table but it was a Saturday night. Glad we did. Great taste. We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramps available.

Service was great! Our server made sure we had everything we needed and even brought a water bowl for our dogs. :) The patio area was comfortable and spacious for our party which included 2 kids. Pizza was good, but I prefer a more substantial bottom crust. It was really floppy and required a knife and fork. Tasted good though!Vegetarian options: Tree hugger pizza is vegetarianKid-friendliness: We had 2 kids dining with us on the outside patio. I believe they had plastic kid cups with lids.

Flavor: CService: CTea: FSolo dining: CWe had the Dire Wolf and the Casey Jones. It’s average pizza. Not very flavorful. There’s quite a wait on a Saturday and they probably don’t have enough staff to adequately serve everyone.

Pretty cool place and the pizza was good. We got there dinner time and the wait was 15-20 minutes, not to bad. Our group of five shared two large pizzas and it was more than enough, even had Togo pizza. We ordered the case Jones and supremo pizza. Both were great. The side salads looked good as well. I didn’t have one.I will say beer is pricey, $6 for a domestic is concert prices. I didn’t check if that was okey 3.2 beer.

Pretty good! The veggie was so good with the green olives. Loved the freshness. The dipping ranch was delicious too. The other pizza fell a little flat but overall good and would come back and try more.

This was easily some of the best, freshest food that Broken Bow/Hochatown had to offer during our 5 day stay.We ordered 4 pizzas and wings for takeout. I bellied up to the bar for a beer while I waited for the food to cook.Great beer selection, and a kind server that knew his stuff. Fair prices considering the freshness, and when he came out with the order he said the team in the back threw in some cheesy bread. Bonus!Everybody wolfed down the pizzas when we got home. Shoulda got one more!Edit: on the way outta town, we stopped again. It was the unanimous fav. This is only the second time in a decade of travels that we’ve hit the same spot twice. Love.

Very busy place, we had to drive around a bit to find parking and wait for someone to leave, at 11:30ish. We were also waiting for our crew, and there's a sign that says you can't be seated til everyone is there, which is weird... we just said they were in the parking lot. The food was pretty good, the service was OK. It's salad and pizza and wings. Not too much else. The cocktails were pre-made, but they were fine. A small will cost about 15 bucks or so depending on toppings. I only need like 1 or 2. It could be shared. Cheese bread was delish.Parking: Not enough parking

Visit was on 02/10/23. I called ahead for a pick-up order. It was ready when I showed up early. The quality is perfection. The crust is not too thick, not too thin. The toppings are the most delectable combinations with plenty in each bite. Pictured are Psychedelic Supremo and Tree Hugger - $55.00. I hate to admit it, but they even turned me into a believer for green olives. I love my OKC pizza venues, but this can't be matched.Vegetarian options: Tree HuggerBaby Spinach, Artichoke Hearts, Mushrooms, Capers, Bell Peppers, Whole Black & Green Olives, Whole Tomatoes, Red Onions, & Fresh Minced Garlic

Everyone raves about the pizza, but it was not the best in my opinion. It has barely any sauce, but is loaded with cheese. Loved all the cheese but the crust was too thin to hold the tops it would just fall off. The atmosphere was nice eclectic reminds me of a mellow mushroom restaurant. However, inside music is a bit loud (my parents are older so they had a hard time hearing us talk). The service was great though! This is just my opinion based on my ❤️ of pizza!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp

We went on a busy night 75 min wait but nearby gift shops helped that time pass a little faster. Atmosphere was fun. The bartender was knowledgeable and offered samples of local beers to try. Our server was full of energy and very attentive. The side salad was pretty big but had a high ratio of onions. Toppings on pizza were fresh and I liked the edge of the crust. Not sure what it was but not a fan of the pizza at all. Maybe the thin flimsy crust with little sauce and lots of cheese. Would come back but I would not order.the pizza.

Ate lunch here after several friends recommended it and we were not disappointed! Fun, bar-&-grill atmosphere playing off the “Grateful Dead” theme and the pizza was outstanding! We tried the Cheese Styx, along with two small pizzas. The Dire Wolf (meat lovers) was fantastic with lots of meat, cheese and a smooth marinara sauce as the foundation. We also tried the Cosmic Charlie (Wavy Gravy Ranch Base, Grilled Chicken, Baby Spinach, Red Onions, Fresh Minced Garlic & Mushrooms)…. It was my favorite! Our server took great care of us and we took home some leftovers for later! We’ll definitely be back!
