Place looked amazing when we showed up. Went to get into hot tub and it looks like it hasn’t been serviced in 10 years. We were charged 150 cleaning fee yet when we showed up there were cheese sticks under dining table and wasps in cabin. We have a 21 month old and kids place was nasty and full of spiders etc…figured for the price we would have had better. Also no salt and pepper etc in kitchen. To this point worst cabin we have stayed in here and we’ve been coming 9-10 times a year for as long as I can remember. Also to top it off we had a please leave a tip note in the cabin after all the fees that I pay my house cleaner to clean a 4600 sq ft house. Pretty much a joke. A far as I can see this is the standard for creative escapes and you would figure with the new hotel coming. The property manages for the cabins would step it up but it seems like they don’t care. Won’t be staying with this group again I’ll seek elsewhere die simply to the fact that they would rather let their places be trash than just simply drop the terrible crew they have and make these places classy again. Like I said with a toddler and as a physician I’m not trying to take a vacation just to have an emergency because the management company has standards of that of a motel 6. Like I said as a physician and a wife who’s a lawyer no matter how manny not responsible signs you put up if something did happen we could and would litigate with a massive game of attrition to the point it would be in your best interest to fix your issues and not be cheap. And with the American legal system that everyone who owns these should abide by. It is the leases duty to provide a safe environment not just stick up signs to hopefully protect their negligence. Also I would lien to add when my wife can walk barefoot through cabin and her feet are black where are the 150 dollar cleaning fees coming from??

Beautiful cabin and locale. Overall a 3. Cleanliness was not great. I was very disappointed in that. Surface areas clean but thick dust a few dead bugs under sofas and bed and very dirty outside area / porch. Large cobwebs on outdoor furniture and just was not a top rated nor top notch home OnLY because it was dirty. again surface areas clean but what we call a lick and a promise clean. Certainly not the fee I was charged to clean this place Very well stocked kitchen but coffee maker did not work at all. Not the k cup feature or the pot. Burner got hot. Would not dispense water. Can opener broken. We loved the location but due to the half … effort cleaning will look for another company next trip.

The Over the Top Cabin is very nice roomy cabin. There were a few minor maintenance issues that needed to be taken care of. I spoke to management after we departed and the conversation went well and I was assured the items would be taken care.Nearby activities: Close to State Park and Lake and various activitiesNoteworthy details: Good customer service, enjoyed talking with management to help resolve issues.

We loved the Creekside Serenade! It was perfectly clean inside and out, peaceful, quiet and felt very secluded. (Wife didn’t want to leave so that’s a plus!) The only downside was the master bedroom’s bed was very hard to sleep in, not comfortable at all. Besides that, the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were fully stocked with everything we needed. The creek behind the cabin and the hot tub overlooking were major pluses! We have this cabin saved in our most favorite places to stay! We’ll definitely be back!

TLDR: Beautiful area, great service.Service was fantastic. Booked a different cabin, the morning of they inspected the cabin to find it wasn't up to their standards and contacted me with a different cabin with the same amenities (no additional cost).My only complaint is the cabin isn't quite as secluded as we hoped, due to construction nearby.Beautiful area, great service.

We rented Bella Notte…the ease of booking, getting there, and expectations were well described. When you walk in there is a wow factor. It looked really nice. It had most of what we needed but had very minimal supplies. The negative… is the cleanliness of the master shower. There was mold along the bottom shower rail. The hot/cold in the main bathroom shower kept falling off, the drain plug was broken and could see hair gunk in the drain. Just gross looking. The wash machine would only fill 1/4-1/2 even though it was set to super load size. The bathrooms only had four towels each. Most of them were small and pretty worn (thin). I don’t mind doing laundry but not daily when on vacation. The microwave handle was missing and hard to open. Some of the baking pans were dirty. Maybe the old dishwasher is not getting things as clean as it should be?? The grill outside is in severe need of replacing. Its one burner was rusted. There was not a back burner a person would not even be able to use the whole cooking grate. It’s was really dirty too (not cleaned since the last use). The hot tub is pretty old and something was duck taped down inside the tub. Several jets didn’t work. I could never get the TV to work in the master bedroom. The living room chair had many stains so not a real feeling of being clean. The outdoor table was really dirty. The cushions looked really dirty as well. We shouldn’t have to clean before we use a table. Yes it’s outside but you could tell it had not been cleaned in a while. Upstairs was pretty hot most of the time.I guess when it’s advised as luxurious. That is what I expected. Not old/worn out appliance, mismatched/thin towels areas of uncleanliness and mismatched bedding.I would rent again with Creative Escapes, except rent a cabin that’s newer.

We rented two nights in the Just Sayin' Cabin in the middle of the week and had a wonderful and relaxing(!) stay. The emailed directions were accurate and led us straight to the cabin. This was helpful as Google maps hadn't caught up with rapidly developing area. The location is at the end of a steep descent. Fortunately, the steep areas were asphalted so 4 wheel drive isn't required (a pick-up or SUV is recommended.) As I mentioned, the area is rapidly developing, but the location still offers a secluded feel with lots of tree cover. The cabin is built on the side of a hill so walking up stairs is required and not for those with mobility issues. Once inside, the main area is spacious with huge windows to add to the open feel. The bedroom and master bath is luxurious and very intimate with the host providing some very thoughtful and romantic touches. Our favorite part of the cabin is the rear covered deck with jacuzzi tub and a gas log fireplace for that cozy ambience. The jacuzzi was ready when we arrived that evening after a long drive that day, we were ready for it. This cabin is only a year old, so all the furnishings and appliances are new and gave us no issues. The overall location relative to activities is on the north end of Hochatown and close to anything you want to see and do (parks, lake, shopping, dining, etc). We have no regrets for choosing the Just Sayin' cabin to cap off our 25th anniversary week. This will be our 1st choice next time we need another getaway to the Beaver's bend area.

Bad experience so far and haven't even stayed in the cabin.I was perplexed about the booking process and kept on getting different answers on the promotion offers.First, I booked because I thought I got the 3rd night for free, but that wasn't the case.Then I got an email saying I can get a military discount because Im a veteran or receive a free night, so I chose the free night.Again, I received another email saying that was incorrect; even though I sent a screenshot of the previous one, they just said the person didn't know the correct information, and there was no free night even though it came from the same email.Also, they said they applied the military discount even though I paid the regular price.So far, this experience has been very unprofessional, and they do not keep their word.Even though I was looking forward to spending time with my family on this trip, I regret booking with this company.

My family and I rented 2 cabins this weekend, I stayed in King's Landing. Very nice cabin however, it was not clean and hasn't been maintained very well. We had to take pics of things that was already damaged upon our arrival. We had to clean the place when we arrived and when we left. That cabin was filthy!! Toilet seats were nasty it was like they've NEVER EVER been CLEANED. We have this well known fluid called bleach, invest in some ASAP. The floors needed to be mopped, the whole cabin needed to be dusted. I do realize that it's a cabin however, it still needs a thorough cleaning at least once a month. You can't depend on the guest to clean before they leave, the staff need to do their job. At some point things need to be replaced, there should be more than one broom and dust pan in the cabin. Maybe, just maybe the ice maker on the refrigerator should work! I hope it gets better because we're actually looking forward to going back.

My boyfriend and I Airbnb’d one of their cabins for a weekend getaway. We had a great time, our cabin was the perfect quiet getaway we were seeking. Unfortunately, when we left I forgot two of my rings on the windowsill above the kitchen sink. One of which was a family heirloom and extremely sentimental. I was able to call and send a prepaid package to have them returned to me. The office was very helpful. They went right out, found my rings, and made sure I got them back asap!

We have stayed at "The Cabin on the Creek" several times now and love it! Very clean, modern and tucked away in the woods. Our kids love fishing in the creek and the fire pit next to it. High recommend this cabin for couples or a small family! Suzy and Creative Escapes has been incredible to work with. We will be back soon!Rooms: Really high end property with everything we needed

We spent New Years Eve at Bella Notta. Cabin was nasty, hall bathroom had ring around the tub and did not drain. Mouse droppings all in the cabinets. Also, hot tub is stained from hard water and feels nasty to be in. Master bath had mold on edges of the shower. Think layer of dust on all the furniture and behind doors in the corners. Floors felt like they had not been cleaned ever. This company does not pay attention to detail. Cabin needs a deep clean.

Overall cabin was accommodating. The wrap around porch was great for sitting out in the evenings and the kids loved swing set. Hot tub was do nice and jacuzzi tub in master was great. We cooked on the grill outside every night. Will stay in one of their cabins again.

Unlike their competition (Broken Bow Cabin Lodging), this company gets quite a lot right when it comes to customer satisfaction; such as honoring their free night specials (and having the terms clearly laid out in writing), not asking for the full name and drivers license of each guest, etc. They've also never hit my crowd with any unexpected fees after a stay. And we particularly love just how much variety there is in their full list of cabins. Whether you're looking for a small or large group, or need to make choices between low-end and high-end, Creative Escapes has you covered. That's not to say everything is sunshine and roses, but this company is easy to work with, and really does their best to make things right by the customer. If you're looking for the negatives, I won't skirt those. Almost all of them have to do with their website. It's mostly missing the 3D tours which have become the gold standard for vacation rentals. The site isn't optimized to handle photos of different size, fit to screen, etc., plus they sometimes are outdated, or don't show everything you'd want to see. And the description language is hit or miss (EX: it may not tell you the locations of bedrooms, or whether all bathrooms are en suite). We've had 1 or 2 stays in their cabins where things weren't as well stocked or clean as we would have like, but that's true of every company we've rented from in the Broken Bow area. So in the end, so long as you don't mind some website struggles, this is the Hochatown business most deserving of your time.

DID NOT FEEL SAFE upon arrival to the cabin community. Our group drove a LONG WAY to get to our cabin and by the time we arrived it was after dark and the offices were closed. There is very Sketchy cell service in this area and the roads all around are mostly unpaved, unmarked, and many veer off in more than 4 directions in a highly wooded and mountainous area with no lights. Additionally, GPS doesn't work due to shotty cell service and unmarked roads. When we arrived all of this was only exasperated by the fact that the road to our cabin was flooded--which they failed to communicate. We called the after hours emergency line and the maintenance person was very kind and gracious, however, he was also 30 min away. It was a very scary experience having to wait for him in the dark, in the woods, at night. We eventually found the main road and met with him the maintenance person who came and had us trail him to the "back way" to our cabin. I left a message with the office person about our experience and received no follow-up call. When I called them (since they didn't follow up with us) the person who answered the phone said "Yea, that does happen..." and then was less than apologetic and insisted they have "no control over the weather" when I repeatedly stated that I wasn't holding them accountable for controlling the weather but instead said they failed to communicate about an issue they are fully aware is possible. She offered no resolutions at all except that after I pressed her she gave me an email address. The cabins ARE really nice, but they are very scary to get to and leave from. Our group had planned to do some local activities while we were there but we didn't feel comfortable leaving the cabin due to the roads and then got lost on the way home which was also very unnerving but at least it was day time and we could see over the cliffs and hills and read what few signs they had.

We stayed four nights at Dreamhouse. The location is not great. It’s very close to hwy 259, so it was hard to enjoy any nature sounds and peace and quiet due to traffic and semis using engine brakes. Overall the cabin is nice, but it really needs to be dusted. The living room ceiling fans are coated in very thick dust. The curtains and window blinds are dusty in all the rooms. There’s dust bunnies in the corners of the bedrooms and under furniture. The big bathtub in the master didn't have a stopper that worked, it was all warped up so it wasn’t usable. The mattresses are firm temperpedic foam and so uncomfortable for me, they may be fine for other people. We used the propane gas grill twice and the third time it was already empty. We had to move our food in to the stove. Overall it was okay just didn’t feel worth the money. won’t choose this cabin rental company again. We’ve experienced better cabins through different companies.

Stayed in Abe’s Place and it was perfect. Great time on Mother’s Day weekend with wife and daughters. Definitely will return for a longer stay. The accommodations, the fire pit area, the hot tub, and surroundings were peaceful, clean, and just great.

My family and I stayed at River Hill Lodge with creative escapes. I was very impressed with how clean it was. It had enough beds to accommodate us all, with enough space so we could all relax and enjoy ourselves! I was very pleased with the over all feel of the cabin along with the manager who was really nice and helped us get to our cabin without getting lost! I would highly recommend this cabin and creative escapes to anyone! Our favorite part was the hot tub, and big outdoor gathering area!

We recently rented Lake Life cabin for 4 nights. We arrived to a dirty cabin with a broken ping pong table and neighbors MUCH closer than we anticipated (or how the property was advertised), including a new bowling alley/arcade being built. If you're looking for seclusion, I would definitely avoid the Lake Life cabin. If you want an easy walk to a brewery, arcade and winery - this is the place for you!On a positive note, management sent out someone new to clean the night we arrived. Unfortunately, it took several hours, but she was AWESOME and everything was sparkling by the time she left. They also compensated us fairly for the issues we encountered. Though we did have to follow up with the office a couple of times to resolve things, I appreciate their efforts to make things right. The cabin itself is beautiful, with comfy beds and lots of room. If you had a family with kids, the upstairs loft/game room with bunk beds would be perfect.

I really enjoyed my stay at boomerang cabin with creative escapes! The whole family had alot of fun they had something for everyone! The cabin was so clean and smelled so nice when we first arrived and we never ran out of towels! I asked if we could get more dish soap and someone came within a few minutes . The people I dealt with were so nice and accommodating. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and we are already planning our next trip.

Beautiful cabin that we stayed in and had a great time but they could be a little better about cleaning them. There was a lot of dust and webs etc throughout the cabin. Also outside furniture not kept in the best condition. Aside from that it was great!

We stayed at Casa Bodega. Place had plenty of space, kids liked the arcade games. Inside cabin appeared to be cleaned. Most dishes we tried to use were dirty. Hot tub was definitely not cleaned. I did contact the property over email, I received the email back to confirm which cabin it was, but never heard back after that. We were also promised a bottle of wine at the arrival and we did not get one, even though I really love girls gone wine, I was disappointed about that. I still took my friend to see girls gone wine and we purchased 2 bottles each. We liked hiking with the kids around the property. It was nice and secluded. I also wish they had shampoo/conditioner inside the showers, but definitely not a must. Overall cabin was nice, just wish they took care of the hot tub, it was cold and would have been nice to enjoy it.
