Food was not good, very bland, no flavor.The poor waitress was all alone she was working her butt off mad respect so my one star rate was not against her someone should have been there to help her.Atmosphere, was not good dark, dusty and cluttered.We were over charged for five people we paid 140 dollars when the menu price was listed at 12 or 15 a plate the only time we saw the bosses was when they came out to over charge us and fight with my husband. In the end we just paid to see this place in our rear view mirror. I would caution anyone to stay clear.

Now granted, we did go during the eclipse, but the bait and switch we received was still unacceptable. My father took us here as we were heading home. We were a group of 5 and we all ordered a dinner meal and got two apps as a table.Using the prices on the menu online and expecting tax and tip the meal we purchased should have cost ~$70 or so.After ringing up at the counter however the price somehow DOUBLED to $143. Costing nearly $30 a plate of food, that at least retrospectively, wasn't even the best.That isn't even to mention how bad the service was but I do understand being short staffed, but when every other table around us was given refills and 3 of us had empty cups and placed them at the edge of the table, I don't think we need to be any more obvious.In the end, I can't recommend you go here, but a lot of this could just be bad circumstances. Understanding that this was a good opportunity to make some money from tourism, you should at least disclose the price you will be charging.

This place was a little gem. We were glamping at wood guest ranch but wanted a hot breakfast so we went into town to try this place. The people were super friendly, Coffee was good, and the food was delicious and at a great value. We were sad they were closed on Sundays or we would have gone again before we left. If we are in the area we'll definitely return.

Located in the tiny town of Boswell Oklahoma on highway 70 is The Lazy Heifer Cafe. I'm sure its the only place to get breakfast for miles around, It's also super cute and my breakfast was fantastic. the bacon strips were enormous and perfect. My waitress was the nicest lady in the world. It might just be my favorite breakfast spot on the planet.

Lunch used to be ready good. Apparently the cook doesn't know how much to cook for lunch. My wife her Aunt and was there at 11:40 am and most of what was prepared was gone. I asked if more food was to be brought out and told "No, I think that's it". Don't know if we will be back. And the customer service sucks! Waiting forever for menus and something to. Not good y'all!!!!!

Good place to eat. Had the chicken fried steak sandwich and it was really good. Wife had the BBQ ranch burger. Only downside to it was the meat looked like it was frozen instead of fresh. My wife said it still tasted really good.

Stopped by on a Sunday motorcycle ride at lunch time. Restaurant was completely full…no where to sit. Stood at the counter and in a few minutes a table opened up. Seated myself and the waitress stopped by and took my drink order. It arrived promptly. Decided to do the buffet and they were out of a few things. While I was perusing the selection the owner came over and asked me what I would like to have that was already emptied from the buffet. I told her some mashed potatoes and todays meat. She went back to the kitchen and had the cook whip up another batch of both items and brought them to me. Can’t beat service like that. I’m going to do another ride in that area just so I can stop here to eat again. Outstanding service and very reasonable prices.

We ate here on Sunday and the service person was Brandy and she was superb and attentive. This place is very convenient if you are going to Beavers Bend State Park with very easy access.The food was excellent and we ate every scrap. Large portions and reasonable prices. My husband Benny and I went to the farm at Cade for the day to do a few things and about 3:30 on 9-20-22 we went to Boswell to the hardware store and decided we should grab a burger while we were there. We had passed the Lazy Heifer on our way in to town and stopped on our way out. We were pleasantly surprised. We both agreed we each had one of the best cheeseburgers that we had ever had. The fries were great too. I had great sweet tea. We are so used to the fast food burgers that we get where we live in Texas that don’t do anything to excite the tastebuds that I felt I should write a review and say thanks to the Lazy Heifer for our great meal. Way to go small town Boswell!!!

Stopped by for buffet. It was enchilada day. They had chicken and beef. The tamales went very quickly. It was very busy and the service was fine. We were checked on frequently by the waitress. The food was very tasty. They peanut butter cake with the buffet. I really enjoyed it, since it has been years for me eating the cake.

I've eaten here a few times since recently moving to this small town and enjoyed the food, the staff has been sweet and helpful and my experiences were typically nice, until last night when I was asked a personal question and then basically ridiculed for my different colored hair.
