Dr Dobbles is an excellent veterinarian surgeon. My cat had Feline Mammary Tumors. After he completed the radical mastectomy, my cat recovered perfectly from the surgery.More recently my 10 month old puppy was spayed by Dr Dobbles. She is healing quickly without any issues.Dr Bliss loves animals and carefully listens to your concerns. Always caring and recommending scientific solutions for my pets.The staff all love animals. My dogs and cats don’t mind coming to visit for nail trimming or other services.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for years. The doctors are really good them and treat them like their own. They’ve gotten good care and my pugs love them. I also use them to board my pugs when we go on vacation.

I took my elderly dog into the vet for difficulty breathing. An x ray and labs were done. We were told she had an infection and she was sent home on an antibiotic, still struggling to breathe, with a follow up in 1 week. Idk if a pulse ox was ever taken. Within a matter of a few hours, we had her in the emergency vet where she was satting at 75% while on oxygen, lungs filled with fluid, and blood clots all over her lungs. She was clearly in respiratory distress all day and had we just listened to the Blanchard vet, she would’ve been suffering for who knows how long, struggling to breathe. She passed in our arms that night. I’m extremely disappointed at the passive approach that was taken with an animal that was clearly in distress. Hopefully anyone with a sick animal will follow their gut and get a 2nd opinion when things don’t seem right.

We had our first visit here since moving into the area. Our pup was having issues with her ears. They were great with her even though she was scared. We go back in 2 weeks. Making this our new vet. Great staff.

I don't really feel they care about animals honestly. They don't give a personable vibe. Not one xray was taken. I was in the parking lot for over an hour waiting because they wouldn't let us in. But they got me seen the same day I called so I went.Edited 8/1/23: I went to another visit today for my dog's eye scratch. Different doc and different tech this time. It was so pleasant. They actually listened and explained things. They both treated my dog with love so I have a better feeling about them for this visit!

We bring all of our animals here. If you live in the Blanchard area they are great. Usually get you in Same day. They always seem efficient getting us in and out but take the time to talk to you and understand the concerns.

I left not understanding at all. They would only talk about the cost of everything but not explain anything. They got flustered when I asked questions and the vet instead of the assistant relaying messages would only come to talk to me after I acted a bit like a Karen. I promise I tried to stay nice. So I came home with a very sick cat covered in his own pee not knowing what to do, with 4 pills for vomiting (he threw up once) and 1/3 bottle of liquid antibiotics for $55.00. He spit up most of the liquid. My poor baby. Don’t know how to help unless I come up with hundreds for tests and tons of meds I don’t know how to give my cat. Sad, confused and not knowing how to help my Cat.

The staff is always friendly. They are great with your pets. Dr. Dobbles has got in the floor with ours before. Has a excellent bedside manner. Our cat just had emergency surgery and I was very pleased with the care she received. I recommend them to everyone I know that's looking for a veterinarian.

Worst vet ever. Spend a little more time and drive to OKC and find a vet that knows what they are doing. Took in my dog to have him fixed. Simple procedure. Picked him up and brought him home only to find out he was bleeding all over my floor. Not a couple drips literally all over and profusely. Took him immediately back to the vet office and the female vet there does nothing but take a quick look underneath my dog while he is standing up (you can not even really see anything examining him that way) and says he is fine and that the blood is normal so take him home. He came back home and after another 3 hours of continuous bleeding finally had to take him to the ER as the blood was not stopping (not talking about a little seeping from the wound but spilling out all over the floor and leaving a trail behind him as he walked). Vet at ER clearly stated that excessive bleeding that he had is not normal with such a simple procedure. Not sure if the female vet there just butchered my dog, was incompetent, or simply too lazy to do the job correctly. She had 2 chances to make this right and ignored the issue completely. Never take your animal to this clinic even for the simplest of problems or procedures. If you care about your pet you will take my warning seriously.

Do not go to this vet. Despite me following all post-op instructions to a tee, I've now dealt with 2 post-op complications from a neuter. They charged me around $25 for an E-collar that wasn't even the right size to prevent licking/chewing. I've now spent more on recovery than I did on the surgery itself. I used to drive an hour round-trip to go here. Not anymore. I also agree with everyone else on here talking about rude staff.

I am understanding of miscommunications, but for the receptionist to talk negatively about a client with staff in the back where everyone can hear is so unprofessional. Both of my experiences here staff was not friendly at all. to roll eyes and sigh at a client is unnecessary. I was told to bring proof of monthly heart guard doses *OR* have a heartworm test to get my care transferred and new script. after bringing proof my dog was up to date, being told I still need a heartworm test is concerning and seemed like an unnecessary way to delay preventative care; and get more money. The last heart worm test I had was $150- on top of $45 exam fee and the $70 medication. My concern and question was valid.

Went with my sister to take my nephew's dog for a checkup. The vet and his assistant were awesome! They showed care for the dog, listened to my sister's questions and had all the answers. Fantastic place to go for your vet care needs.

Very nice and friendly staff. We just moved here from Arizona and needed an appointment for our dogs, one of which has an ear infection. The staff was very friendly and professional. One of our labs had a negative experience with our previous vet who made him wear a muzzle at each and every visit. The staff allowed our pup to take off his muzzle at the end of the visit and said that she didn't see any need for it. She said he looked nervous more than anything. We were incredibly happy with our first visit and the excellent care and friendly experience my pups received. Thank you Blanchard Animal Hospital!

My kitten wasn't acting right; lethargic and not eating. They were able to see us the same day, run some tests, and seemed concerned during the visit. She has since recovered, but I would go again for routine care or if another sick visit was needed.

If you love your fur baby.....Do Not Go There!!!! Too many bad things to list but will never go back. My cat was not the same for about a week. I was charged for things they didn’t do and they did not do a full exam, and when I ask questions they said, oh well, we just can’t put everything in the paperwork! Worst experience ever!
