The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They took great care of our senior girl (she's 18 now), who hadn't been properly cared for by others. She got updated shots and grooming. Other than an arthritic hip, she's like new. Thanks a million to these fine folks.

Visited on 2/15/24 as new patient. I'm not from the area, my employer is based here. My dog got bitten by two stray dogs during a freight delivery. I called to make an appointment and they were able to get me in sooner than originally. Wonderful professional kind staff. I'd definitely return for future visits. Highly recommend. My dog buddy says thank you ladies!

Council Vet Hospital has been my main veterinarian for almost 5 years, and I must say that Dr Redden and company are so compassionate, caring, and overall just such wonderful people. Without their advice and care, I wouldn't know what to do with my babies. The prices are so very reasonable, and as I said before, compassion is their main mantra. The office staff are also top notch, super helpful and caring as well. A truly great vet clinic!

The wait wasn't too bad at this place the people are friendly and very good with animals. My baby cat does not like strangers but he took well to the doctor. she's a good lady, I like the place and I will return there, I do recommend it very good vet.

Our first visit was nice & easy (just getting boosters & deworming) but we went for our next set of boosters and within hours my pup contracted parvo. I’m fairly certain she contracted it from the facility not getting cleaned properly or being sat where a previous parvo puppy had been due to there being no other possibility of her contacting it elsewhere (never been outside or set on the ground). Ended up taking to back to be tested and they’re test was negative so I took her to Neels within the next hour and was positive. Ended up costing me well over 1700$ in vet bills. I understand accidents happen but I hope they are cleaning better and not allowing paths to be crossed between other dogs. Thankfully after a long journey she made it and is healthy & happy!

They helped me save my parvo positive puppy and was willing to break it down in to different estimates so you knew what was being covered. Dr. Story was amazingly sweet and honest at the same time. They were patient while we decided as a family on how to provide care.

I have taken all my pets to Council Vet for ten years! Dr. Redden took care of all my pet rattos, and now she and her team are my go-to for any of my dog's or cat's needs. I always joke that my dog actually LIKES going to the vet. Everyone there is always so helpful and kind and its clear they care about our animals. The care the provide is top notch. These guys are amazing! We were taking our elderly pup to a different vet and even though they knew she had a heart murmur and arthritis, they didn't want to do anything because of her age. We took our pup here and they immediately started to treat both. After getting on meds she was like a brand new pup. They've given our 15 year old girl a really good quality of life and we're so appreciative for that. Their prices are also very reasonable, the staff is super friendly, the vets are patient and always answer my questions with knowledge, kindness, and understanding. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Thanks for taking care of our sweet girl.

This is the only vet I use. It's cheap enough on the initial price just to get them in but she also won't do any treatments that you don't agree to and she tells you price before she does anything. No surprises, no extra treatments you don't need, and it helps that they are super polite.

All of my fur babies see Dr. Redden. She is the most patient doctor and truly cares for each of my kids. I think the staff is absolutely wonderful from the receptionist to the techs back. The groomer is also amazing and does a wonderful job. Highly recommend this business.They have recently merged with Bethany Animal Hospital and have Dr. Vaughn on as well. She is also an amazing doctor.10/10 recommend

Our first visit for my 12 year old Redbone Coonhound. We just moved down from Alaska a month ago and finding a good vet was a big priority. The building and office is a little rough (but clean) but frankly that's not what I look for in a vet anyway. I have leaned that a new building and big vet offices often translates into a hurried visit and very expensive and unnecessary procedures. I could tell that Dr Emily and her staff are all about the animals they see and in just a few moments I felt that I had made the correct choice for my big Hound. I actually did a lot of research prior to picking Council as my guy has some significant issues (liver, back, nerve..and plan old age). Dr Emily has an amazing bedside manner and my Hound was totally at home in just a few mins (and begging for treats!). She asked all the right questions and figured out several existing issues without being told. She also clipped his names in about 5 mins, something that would take two people holding the dog down in past attempts at this never fun process. My cats up next for a annual.

About the person below who claims their cat died after being sedated... If that truly happened then I do feel awful for them, but honestly cats have less than a 1% chance of dying from sedation. On average only 1 out of 1000 cats die from being oversedated. 🤷🏻 so please take them and the person "speculating" with a grain of salt.In other words- I loved this vet! Took my cat to be groomed, examined, vaccinated, and she even came home with TWO medications - my total was barely over $200! Anywhere else would have charged me that for vaccinations alone! Plus the staff was informative, letting me know I could text their line with additional details for her groom. The vet, Dr. Redden, I believe? Called me to go over the diagnosis and let me know everything was okay. When I went to pick up my baby they even gave me a carrier to take home cause I didn't have one. All in all it was a great experience for a great price, and I plan on bringing both of my animals here from now on. 🙂

I have a 16 year old blind toy poodle who was fired from 2 other groomers due to epilepsy and age. I was told by our former groomer to find a groomer attached to a vet… and I used this groomer! I’m shook at how much of a good job she did. She called me to tell me she did the best she could because he was being aggressive so I was expecting the worst. But let me say this is one of the best grooms he’s had in ages. I dropped him off at 9 he was done by 12:00. Usually he’s at other groomers all day. And the price was super reasonable!

Doctor Redden is the best Vet we have ever been to. I can honestly give her five stars. She has treated both of my dogs and she really cares for their well being. My dogs are both seniors and you never know when an illness or an I jury can happen. We are so happy we found her.

Everyone there is always so friendly and it’s obvious how much they love every animal that comes in there. The veterinarians are both very friendly and take lots of time with each client. They take plenty of time to explain and even are the ones that usually call you back to update you on your pets status.

Truly the kindest care possible with exceptional staff. Dr. Redden is excellent and obviously not only treats animals very well, but loves them, too. The entire staff is just as wonderful. They have really helped me manage my dog’s recovery from surgery with great compassion and insight.

We really liked Dr. Redden but we're no longer taking our pets here. The markup on EVERYTHING-procedures to meds is terrible. I needed two days' worth of one med to hold us over due to a delivery delay and they wanted $20 for 4 pills that cost $9 online for a MONTH supply. My dog is going to be in terrible pain and possibly have seizures because of their price gauging. Another vet refused to give us a written RX for the meds so we could afford them when we asked while Dr. Redden was out with Covid. They care more about getting your money than caring for your pet.
