Found a dog online, that I was interested in. Called ahead, he was still available. Made the hour drive. Buckee, was exactly what I was looking for. He loves being outside, going for rides, playing ball, and giving kisses. I will add pictures. Everyone is kind and friendly. Couldn't have had a better experience.

If I could give a negative review I would! Because I have reported the puppy mill across the street from me several times and instead of it being shut down, or dogs removed, my psychotic neighbor was given my personal information to know who made the report! What a disgrace that these people are responsible for such innocent beingsAnd choose to allow table to use and abuse them to support a selfish trashy lifestyle!

Never came to pick up the animal that bit me I’ve told them they need to come and pick him up he’s not my dog he came to my yard and ive feed him since he’s been here and now he’s attacking my puppies 🐶

This is NOT a no kill shelter, they get put down after 30days! 100% your dog will be dead before they know it 30 DAYS! WOW!

I found a very elderly dog so tired it could barely walk and too heavy for me to get it into my van. It spent the night on my sofa and the next day one of the two terrific shelter officers came to my house and took him to the shelter. The worried owner picked him up the same day.

No no no no, I can't say it enough...you pull up to dogs frantically barking, most the windows are bored up. You can't even know it's a "shelter" unless you call. This place needs to not exist.

Marvel is the happiest most wonderful little girl ever!!! Officer Hodgens (I hope I spelled her name right) walked me thru the process and paperwork while also telling me so much about Marvels likes dislike and mannerisms took her for a walk and she melted my heart great experience and would definitely recommend going to bring a new family member home from here! Easiest 5 star review ever!

I have not adopted an animal from this place but just from looking at the pictures of the inside, it looks like prison for animals! How can you let these poor animals just sleep on concrete with no bedding or anything!? THEY SHOULD BE CARED FOR BETTER!!!! It’s SAD!

Shout out to officer Holloway! This officer helped lead me to the best animal rescue all paws rescue and the results I got from them were amazing if you ever find yourself in an animal crisis don't wait until it's to late give your local animal welfare officer or shelter a call they are there to help you and provide you with all the helpful advise you or information you may need! Don't be embarrassed and give them a call I'm glad I did! Thanks again officer Holloway

They need more funding. New pet friendly furniture in office area not subject to holding animal messes. Better office equipment. Feel these things are hindrance to efficient operation. I got a beautiful Pit bull mix. Staff kind, courteous, helpful. Did not try to rush us on choice of dog. Help them to help rehome more pets

They're trying their best to become a no-kill shelter. Rescues pull animals from them, to sponsor for adoptions. Residents know to go there first, when reliquishing OR adopting wonderful pets!

Website hours indicated it was open; drove 20 minutes to find it locked. Personnel performing intake apparently are animal welfare officers and abandon the center for animal welfare calls.

Went to look at cats and the person there really didn't seem to care. The place is very non inviting and doesn't make you want to adopt anything. There were a couple cats that were ill that were in the same area as cats that were well and I just felt that this was wrong. The place looks old run down and it smells.

My husband and I adopted a dog on Monday. She was a happy, fun, loving girl. They scheduled her for spay on Wednesday and we picked her up that evening. Unfortunately, after her spay and boosters, she came back to us in poor health and has not eaten since. Upon taking her to the vet, we were informed that we had adopted a dog with the parvovirus. The vet verified that she did in fact have parvo when we adopted her, and now I have to watch the newest member of our family suffer.$580 in vet bills later and im still unsure if my pup will make it.I've attempted to contact this shelter and the vet that did the spay procedure numerous times since Thursday morning upon the opening of business hours. Im sure they know they have parvo, but I wouldn't advise anyone to adopt a younger animal from this facility in the next 7 years or so.Last March, we also adopted a kitten who was scheduled for neuter and he has still never recieved his procedure. I now have a fully grown tom cat that wanders off, sprays people's porches, and knocked up all the neighbor kitties.The woman that works in the shelter seems nice enough, but they danced around where they got my dog and now she's dying in front of me. Do not adopt a pet from this facility.

Officer Trowbridge and Officer Wynn went above and beyond to ensure my sister’s dogs were cared for u til we could arrange for an out of state transport to deliver to us in Utah. They answered called after hours and updated us on the dogs conditions. I am so thankful for them. They do so much with so little and I just want to say Thank you!!-Lauren in Utah

I just had a horrible experience. First off the guy was late and I've been sitting out here waiting to bring my dog to the shelter and when he gets here I even wait a few minutes before going in and the guy still has me wait for like 10 minutes while he sits there and checks every single message Lyft on the phone and I even told him hey I'm in a hurry I have to go to work and he still barely looks at me and tells me to hold on and goes back to listening to his messages so after standing there for about 20 minutes he told me I can't drop my dog off here because I don't live in the area

We had the best experience adopting this heeler girl from Bethany Animal Welfare. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us as we flew from Ga. to adopt her. They made sure we had everything we needed for out long drive home. Liesl went out of her way to come at very odd hours even though the shelter was technically not open. She made sure our little girl got a bath to smell good in the rental car. They treated all the animals that were there very well. I recommend dealing with them to find your next furbaby.

Its good enough but not a good place for pets first get them a shower get the old sofa out of the cage and train them to become good and well mannered dogs... I would love to help but they dont or cant have volunteers at the moment.

I didn't get to see all that they may have had only because my daughter and I found the new family member to adopt immediately. It's only been a day of having her home and has already proving to be the best spontaneous decision made

They told an abuse victim that had left her dog in their care until her vpo hearing that they would protect him and then turned around and released the dog to the abuser due sob story and a feeling and claimed that it was better than putting him down and that they had no intention of rehoming him from the time she left. Now if I were you I wouldn't want any animal left in this facility as they are inhumane and encourage abuse not to animals but to women as well.

They were so helpful with the tiny kitten I found today. They gave us assistance in taking care of this little kitten and offered support, made sure we understood the care she'd require and wished us luck!

The two ladies working there were very helpful. I didn't give 5 star because they weren't open on Friday when I got there at 450pm. They were supposed to be open till 5pm.

They found my dog who escaped from the back yard. Very nice about it. She stayed there until 5:30pm so I had time to get off work and pick up my dog.
